For Faith To Increase ~

For our faith to increase,
for it to reach out and grow
the more about Jesus
we will need to know.

We will need to learn,
about His love and grace
so that we can keep up
on this earth with His pace.

For our faith to take root,
we need to be transformed
and no longer to this world
be into it or conformed.

We will need to put on,
the new man each day
so we can follow after
the Life, Truth and the Way.

For our faith to be grounded,
so to rise above all things
we will need the strength
that only Jesus can bring!

Getting Right With God ~

If with God . . .
you want to get right
you’ll need into yourself
to have a better insight.

You will need to look,
deep inside of you
to see the sinful things
that you still may do.

If with God . . .
you want a relationship
you must deal with the things
causing you a guilt-trip.

For that which condemns,
making you feel guilt ridden
are the things that from God
that can never be hidden.

If with God . . .
you want to get nearer . . .
look into the Good Book
that acts just like a mirror!

Grow In Grace ~

If we’re to grow in grace,
we need to be willing
to receive in our lives
the Holy Spirit’s filling.

For the fruit that He has,
will only start to grow
the more about His power
we understand and know.

If we’re to be productive,
we need more than milk
for it is the meat of the Word
that will go down like silk.

For, it will ease our fears
sooth all of our doubt
for faith without grace
has no where to sprout.

Growing in grace,
we must make a priority
so that our knowledge . . .
in Jesus has clarity!

Weeds ~

Life is full of weeds,
we need to pluck
before in our hearts
they become stuck.

For if we don’t uproot,
their suffocating base
we won’t be able to run
or win the faithful race.

Weeds are full of life,
needing to be obliterated
lest our faith in God
will become manipulated.

For if we do not rid,
their strangling hold on us
satan will pulverize
