Words Grace Laced ~

Words graced laced,
we daily need to hear
for they dispel worry
help eliminate fear.

Words mercy mingled,
we all need to speak
for they give strength
to those who are weak.

Words love lifted,
are pleasant in deed
for they reassure those
who are wanting in need.

Words keen on kindness,
are music to the soul
for they sooth and comfort
when life take its toll.

Word grace laced,
and mercy mingled
are words each day
needed to be kindled!

Proverbs 16:24

“Pleasant words
are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul,
and health to the bones.”

We All Have Bouts ~

We all have difficulties,
some frailties, some weakness
we all have bouts . . .
of despair and bleakness.

We all have limitations,
some mental, some physical
we all have bouts . . .
of feeling measly pitiful.

We all have challenges,
some prolonged, some brief
we all have bouts . . .
of sadness and grief.

We all have deficiencies,
some flaws, some cracks
we all have bouts . . .
of feeling out of whack.

But we who have Jesus,
all things can overcome
because we know just where
our power comes from!

~~~~~~~~
2 Corinthians 12:9
“And he said unto me,
My grace is sufficient for thee:
for my strength is made perfect
in weakness. Most gladly
therefore will I rather glory
in my infirmities, that the
power of Christ may rest upon me.”
To Be That Person ~
We all need someone,
to lift us up when down
a special person
who is always around.
We all need an ear,
on which to rely
we all need a shoulder
to lay our heads and cry.
We all need a friend,
in which to run to
we all need a supporter
to help get us through.
We all need Jesus,
to encourage us
to be that person
someone else can trust.
We all need someone,
some times, some way
we all need each other
to lift us up and pray!
~~~~~~~~~

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

“Two are better than one;
because they have a good
reward for their labour.

“For if they fall, the one will
lift up his fellow:
but woe to him that is
alone when he falleth;
for he hath not another
to help him up.”

Snippet of The Day ~01.21.19~

From the Poem:  Words Of Encouragement

Don’t Be Offended ~

When you find yourself,
for Jesus being mocked
and your faith in God
is always getting knocked.

Don’t be offended,
by what people might do
rather let God’s peace
be what they see in you.

When you find yourself,
endlessly put down
and you’re tormented
for the truth you found.

Don’t be taken back,
by what people say
rather let Jesus help you
to show them the way.

When you’re attacked,
for your Godly belief . . .
don’t let it cause you
one iota of grief!

Exodus 14:14

“The Lord shall fight for you,
and ye shall hold your peace.

Tender-Loving Care ~

When your pain,
is too much to bear
and you need some
tender-loving care.

Know that God,
is there for you
and will your pain
ease and soothe.

When you’re beat,
and broken down
and it’s too hard
to move around.

Know that God,
will strengthen you
and your weariness
He will lessen too.

When you can’t speak,
or open up your eyes
know that God still can . . .
hear and see your cries!

“Thou holdest mine eyes waking:
I am so troubled that I cannot speak.”

Jesus Will Console You ~

When heavy on your heart,
is your every care . . .
as they become too much
for you alone to bear.

Know Jesus will bring you,
comfort and relief
and console you through
all that’s causing your grief.

When hefty on your mind,
are worrisome thoughts
as they set out to bind
your faith into knots.

Know Jesus will bring you,
great comfort and good cheer
as He consoles you through
all you’ve come to fear.

When heavy and hefty,
are your problems and cares
know Jesus consolation
will lift you from your despair!

“In the multitude of my thoughts
within me thy comforts delight my soul.”

Opt For Joy ~

Opt for joy,
it will not disappoint
if you do
it’ll be a turning point.

For joy always brings,
a sense of relief
as you give to Jesus
the cause of your grief.

Prefer joyfulness,
over being downtrodden
let the love of Jesus
make your smile broaden.

For happiness is a choice,
each day we can make
and rejoicing in the Lord
will cause a grin to break.

Choose joy,
you’ll be happier if you do
then just watch what Jesus  . . .
is willing to do for you!

High Upon A Rock ~

When tragedy comes,
catching you off guard
when the aftermath of grief
hits you cold and hard.

Know that God is near,
to the brokenhearted
and the crushed in spirit
He will keep safe-guarded.

When from out of nowhere,
disaster strikes you down
and it affects are felt
by every one around.

Know that God is a shelter,
a safe harbor and refuge
someone you can turn to
whenever under a deluge.

When tragedy and disaster,
come to your door and knock
know God will lift you up
and set you high upon the Rock!

~~~~~~~~
Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is near
to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed
in spirit.”
Psalm 27:5
“For he will hide me
in his shelter in the
day of trouble; he will
conceal me under the cover
of his tent; he will
lift me high upon a rock.”
Not All Mother’s Are Happy Today ~
Not all mother’s,
are happy on this day
some their only child
has sadly passed away.
Other’s are forgotten,
it’s as if their were dead
these heart-wrenching words
their child, actually has said.
Some mother’s are alone,
from their children they’re apart
the miles between them
tug at her aching heart.
Other’s are heartbroken,
as their children seem aloof
there will be no gathering
today under her roof.
Not all mother’s,
are happy on this day
so please be kind to them
as you go about your way!
but by sorrow of the heart
the spirit is broken.
A New Life In Christ ~
I am happy for you,
I am so very excited
now that into your life
Jesus you invited.
I want to help you,
in your faith walk
I’ll be here for you
if you need to talk.
I know it’s not easy,
this  Christian living
so don’t be hard on yourself
but, like Jesus be forgiving.
If you should ever need,
a shoulder on which to cry
mine will be there for you
until all your tears dry.
I am so excited for you,
now that Jesus is your Savior
and I pray each day . . .
He blesses you with His favor!
To God Be The Glory ~
To God Be the Glory,
this is why I write . . .
to His honor
for His delight.
Sharing my needs,
up lifting yours
so together our hope
we can explore.
To God be the glory,
to Him be the praise
for knowing His Word
to following His ways.
Praying to God,
learning to be still
so we can understand
His most perfect will.
To God be the glory,
this is why I do write . . .
using the grace given me
to shine His saving light!
Throwing In The Towel ~
Some days I feel like quitting,
just throwing in the towel
some days I don’t want to think
of another rhyming vowel.
Some days it’s so hard,
putting words into rhyme
some days I feel as if . . .
I’m just wasting my time.
But, then I read my Bible,
and the verses seem to jump
helping me to get over
my poetry writing slump.
For, God keeps telling me,
to continue, to carry on
how I need to keep doing
what I know He has begun.
Some days I feel like quitting,
blogging how and what I feel
but, then God encourages me
and restores my rhyming zeal!
A Word of Encouragement ~
An Encouraging Word ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~
A word of encouragement,
everyone needs to hear . . .
words that will help dissolve
away another person’s fear.
Words that bring comfort,
to hearts that are frayed
words that will soothe
the ones that are afraid.
Words that will mend,
the effects of sin and pain
words that will bring hope
into someone’s life again.
Words that are restoring,
offering aid and relief
words that help to repair
another’s faith and belief.
Words that are healing,
oozing truth like a balm
words that bring about
an everlasting calm.
A word of encouragement,
we all need to hear one
so today won’t you please . . .
encourage just someone!
You Have Blessed Me ~
You Have Blessed Me ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
To My Friend  . . .
You have blessed me,
with words of encouragement
you have provided me
with spiritual nourishment.
You have helped me,
through my pain and grief
you have brought me
refreshment and relief.
You have given me,
hope in a dark place
you have revealed to me
the truth about real grace.
You have comforted me,
when all was too much to bear
you have reassured me
just how much for me you care.
You have been there for me,
my side you didn’t leave
you have consoled me . . .
my sorrow, you did relieve.
So thank you my friend
for blessing me . . .
with your very presence
though you, I cannot see!
~ Thank You Jesus ~
We Are All Wounded ~
Walking Wounded ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
We are all wounded,
from the battles of life
we all carry with us
scars from the strife.
We have all suffered,
the pain of depression
each of us has felt
the sting of rejection.
We are all wounded,
damaged in some way
we all carry with us
the hurts of yesterday.
We all need healing,
from the harm done
we all need someone
to whom we can run.
We are all wounded,
in need of comforting
we all need Jesus . . .
to ease our suffering!
A Little Show of Mercy ~
SHOW A LITTLE MERCY ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
A little show of mercy,
can go a long, long way
a little bit of kindness
can brighten someone’s day.
An act of thoughtfulness,
can bring someone a smile
an unselfish deed done
can go beyond that extra mile.
A helping hand can stretch,
beyond another’s need
a joyful giver can sow
into others a cheerful seed.
A heart full of grace,
can make all the difference
a cheerful, happy face
can hardly meet resistance.
A little show of mercy,
can go a long, long way
it doesn’t take too much
to bless someone’s day!
~~~~~~~~~

in his heart, so let him give; not
grudgingly, or of necessity: for
God loveth a cheerful giver.”

The Comforter of My Soul ~

The Comforter of My Soul ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

The Comforter of my soul,
never gets tired of my cares
He never gets fatigued by
my burdens that He bears.

He never turns me away,
when I go to Him for relief
the Comforter of my soul
understands all my grief.

The Comforter of my soul,
always makes things better
taking on my heavy load
gives His heart pleasure.

He makes things easier,
when all else is difficult
the Comforter of my soul
is always there to consult.

The Comforter of my soul,
takes on my every care
tis why I give to Him . . .
my every need to bear!

Do Not Lose Heart ~

Do Not Lose Heart ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

Do not lose heart,
do not give up today
ask God to bring renewal
into your life, straight away.

Do not lose focus,
keep Jesus in your sight
do not pull yourself from
the truth found in His light.

Do not lose trust,
do not stop believing
soon answered prayers . . .
you will start receiving.

Do not lose hope,
keep your mind centered
on the grace Jesus brought
when in your life, He entered.

Do not  lose heart,
do not faint away . . .
ask God to be renewed
right here, right now, today!

” For which cause we faint not;
but though our outward man perish,
yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”
