Soon, Lord soon,
please do not tarry
for, this world
is getting so scary.

Every day that dawns,
there are new calamities
bringing about so many
horrendous casualties.

Soon, Lord soon,
please do not delay
for, this earth
has fallen into decay.

there are new upheavals
unleashing on this earth
present day evils.

Come quickly Lord,

When Jesus returns,

or wrapped in your sin
will He find you hiding?

Will you be ashamed,
or will you be confident
will He find you faithful
or defiantly unrepentant?

When Jesus returns,
will He find you ready
or will you be found
in your faith unsteady?

Will you be embarrassed,
or will you be elated
will your heart be hopeful
or your spirit deflated?

When Jesus returns,
just how will you be . . .
ashamed or confident
when those clouds you see!

The world as we know it,
one day will be no more . . .
all will be destroyed
with a thunderous roar.

It will come suddenly,
like a thief in the night
taking along with it
the sun’s and moon’s light.

With a deadly fire and heat,
it will all quickly melt away
even the stars in the sky
will no longer be on display.

It will all just burn up,
everything will disintegrate
no longer with wickedness
will it be able to accommodate.

The heaven and earth,

but the Word of God . . .

Be Troubled Not My Heart ~

Be troubled not my heart,
by what you daily see . . .
just remember Jesus promised
one day with Him you’ll be.

Don’t worry about tomorrow,
today’s problems are enough
just remember Jesus said
not to fret over the big stuff.

Be anxious not my heart,
take everything to Him in prayer
just remember Jesus told you
to cast on Him your every care.

Don’t try on your own strength,
to do the impossible
just remember Jesus proclaimed
with His power all is possible.

Be troubled not my heart,
by the daily doom and gloom . . .
just remember Jesus promised
He’s preparing for you a room!

The Lord is a strong hold,
on whom we can trust
for those who know Him
knows He is fair and just.

He brings us comfort,
with the promise of peace

His mercy and His grace
He avails to anyone.

He brings to all hope,
a Light in the darkness
and soon His judgment

Don’t Lose Heart ~

Be of good courage,
in this world fallen
into the devil’s trap

his lies to discern.

be confident and sure

for our belief threats
our hope and trust in God . . .

where it’s harder for us
to stay in the faithful race.

no matter where you go . . .
being a Christian today
irks and irritates others so.

Jesus sent to us,
a Helper to help guide
those who believe life . . .
is more than just a ride.

A Helper we can trust,
the right path will show
one to help us recognize
the way we should go.

prior to His return.

A helper who will lead,
to the Life and the Way
one to help to remind us

We Need An Awakening ~

We need an awakening,
from our spiritual sleep
we need a revival . . .
to gather in more sheep.

We need to wake-up,
those dead in sin
so lives for Jesus
we can go and win.

We need an arousing,
of hearts made of stone
so Jesus for their sins
can forgive and atone.

We need a new dawning,
of eyes that are blind
so the Light of Jesus
can heal their mind.

We need an awakening,
a spiritual revival
before Jesus’ . . .
next arrival!

If I Meet Jesus Today ~

If I meet Jesus today,
and my life here were to end
I would be so excited . . .
to meet my eternal Friend.

I would run up to Him,
and look into His loving face
I’d tell Him thank you for
His saving, amazing grace.

I’d drop down on my knees,
and worship my eternal King
I’d shout hallelujah . . .
as my praises to Him I sing.

I would leap and jump around,
with joy, happiness and glee
and thank Him for preparing
a room in heaven just for me.

If I were to meet Jesus today,
and I were to see my eternal Friend
I know that I would be in paradise
and my bliss would never end!

I’m keeping my eyes,
set on Jesus’ coming
tis why this faith race

coming for me.
