God’s Timing Not Mine ~

I have found,
God’s timing’s the best
on this fact
I have come to rest.

For His plan is always,
the only perfect one
so I’ve learned to wait
until He is done.

I have found,
God not to ever push
so I know not to be
in a hurry or a rush.

For He has a hand,
on all He does
so I stay still . . .
simply because.

I have found,
God’s timing to be
perfectly fitting
and suitable just for me!

Wait-Training ~

Wait-training,
we all need to go through
it’s something . . .
we must to learn to do.

For, God wants to teach us,
how on Him to rely
and to trust Him when
He’s got us on standby.

It will take patience,
and a lot of practice
for wait-training requires
us to be proactive.

For, God wants to show us,
His timing is the best
through He’s got us waiting
we can still be at rest.

Wait-training,
takes a lot of fortitude
for it takes strength to have
a surrendered attitude!

be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen
thine heart: wait,
I say, on the Lord.”

I Need to Know ~

Lord, I need to know,
how to be still . . .
I want to understand
Your perfect will.

I desire to believe,
You’re in control
I long to feel
trust in my soul.

I seek to find,
Your peace ideal
I search to discover
Your mercy’s real.

I wish to have,
faith complete
I care to believe
You’re my retreat.

Lord I need to know,
how to truly rest . . .
while You’re working out
for me, Your very best!

God Never Gets Weary ~

Are you feeling fatigued,
by your weariness
are you exhausted
and feeling listless?

Then wait on the Lord,
your energy He’ll renew
for He never gets tired
of strengthening you.

Do you need recharging,
a shot of endurance
do you need fortitude
some extra assurance?

Then wait on the Lord,
faint He does not
He never gets worn-out
when His power is sought

Are you growing weary,
is your faith getting slack?
Then wait on the Lord . . .
for the strength you lack!

~~~~~
Isaiah 40:30-31
“Even the youths shall faint
and be weary, and the young
men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon
the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with
wings as eagles;
they shall run,
and not be weary;
and they shall walk,
and not faint.”
Be Patient With God ~
Be patient with God,
He knows what He’s doing
sometimes to our prayers
He takes His time moving.
Be patient with God,
enjoy the time waiting
for the answers to our prayers
He’s carefully delegating.
Be patient with God,
He is working out His plan
you will need a lot of faith
to fill in the time span.
Be patient with God,
give Him the time He needs
not all of His answers
come at rapid speeds.
Be patient with God,
trust Him and be still
He’s working out for you
what is His perfect will.
Be patient with God,
your times are in His hands
and for you He is working on
His awesome, amazing plans!
God Has A Purpose ~
God has a purpose,
He had a plan
before our lives
even began.
He knows all things,
for our own good
will work out
as He said they would.
But, we must love,
God and His ways
we must have a heart
that yields and obeys.
We need to know,
what is God’s will
we need to wait
and to be still.
God has a purpose,
but, it’s up to us
to heed the calling
of faith and trust!
that I think toward you,
saith the Lord,
thoughts of peace,
and not of evil,
to give you an expected end.”
Stillness In The Storms ~
stillness-in-the-storm-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann
The Lord wants us,
in the storm to be still
He wants us to know
for us, this is His will.
He wants us to remain,
quiet on the inside
when every thing else
is troubled on the outside.
He wants us to know,
the battle is His to fight
He wants us to seek
the refuge of His might.
He wants us to have,
peace and tranquility
when all else around us
is full of anxiety.
The Lord wants us,
to have a calm soul
He wants us to know
He’s the One in control!
Waiting On God ~
waiting-on-god-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann
Waiting on God,
is liberating . . .
it is strengthening
and hope generating.
It is freeing,
this God waiting
it is entrusting
and faith activating.
Waiting on God,
is encouraging
it is confidence
and belief stimulating.
It is relieving,
this God waiting
it is anxiety
and fear sparing.
Waiting on God,
is time well spent
for the answers are . . .
always heaven-sent!
A Spiritual Journey ~
a-spiritual-journey-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann
We’re all on a journey,
to spiritual maturity
we’re all looking for . . .
eternal security.
We’re all on the road,
to peace everlasting
we’re all looking for . . .
Godly understanding.
We’re all on the course,
to hope and perfection
we’re all looking for . . .
God’s divine direction.
We’re all on the path,
to knowing God’s will
we’re all looking for . . .
wisdom to be still.
We all carry baggage,
as we make our trip
we’re all looking for . . .
God’s truths to grip!
~~~~~

Psalm 25:4-5

“Shew me thy ways,
O Lord; teach me thy paths.

Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day.”

This Battle is God’s ~

This Battle is God's ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

I’m claiming victory,
I know just who is in charge
and I believe God’s methods
are the best ones to discharge.

For this battle is not mine,
it belongs to God alone
and I truly get that . . .
His ways are not my own.

I have learned to be still,
to wait and to be quiet
and most importantly
I have learned not to quit.

For I am God’s soldier,
He’s enlisted me to fight
and in His strength I’ll win
by the power of His might.

I’m claiming my victory,
way ahead of time . . .
for I know this mountain
God will help me to climb!

2 Chronicles 20:15

“And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah,
and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem,
and thou king Jehoshaphat,
Thus saith the Lord unto you,
Be not afraid nor dismayed by
reason of this great multitude;
for the battle is not yours,
but God’s.”

When I am Strong ~

When I am Stong ~ CHRISTian Poetry by deborah ann

Lord, when I’m strong,
my faith is weak
and Your will
I do not seek.

For, on my own,
I think I can do it
and I make no time
to wait and sit.

I believe I know,
what I’m to do
so I rush off Lord
without You.

But, when I am weak,
my faith is strong
and I seek Your face
all day long.

For, when I admit,
alone, I can’t do it
it’s when I’m lead
by Your Spirit!

then am I strong.”

I Know God Will ~

Waiting For You Lord ~ ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~

I know God can,
I believe He will
so I will wait . . .
and I’ll be still.

I know He’s able,
so I will trust
for Him to do
what He must.

It won’t do me,
one bit of good
to fear or doubt
as I once would.

For I have learned,
to sit and wait . . .
is better than taking
Satan’s worry bait.

I know God will,
I believe He can
so I’ll just leave . . .
this too, in His hand.

for my expectation is from him.”

I’ve Got Courage ~

I've Got Courage ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~

Lord, I’m not focusing,
in on my fear . . .
instead I’ll center on
knowing You are near.

I’m going to be strong,
instead of being fretful
I’m going to have faith
bold and not fearful.

Lord, I’m going to be calm,
instead of being anxious
in You, I’ll stay relaxed
not jittery or nervous.

I’m not going to be,
afraid of anything
instead I will trust
You with everything.

Lord, I’ve got me courage,
powerful and true . . .
for You have given me
strength to wait on You!

The Waiting Game ~

Wait, I say Wait ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

Waiting can be so hard,
so difficult to do . . .
especially when fear
has its grip on you.

Waiting isn’t a game,
any of us likes to play . . .
but it still toys with us
whenever we pray.

Waiting isn’t easy,
it’s a tough thing to do
especially when doubt
enters into you.

Waiting isn’t a virtue,
most of us possess . . .
with our gut feelings
it likes to mess.

Waiting on the Lord,
takes a  strong heart . . .
and if we learn to trust
faith will do its part!

wait, I say, on the Lord.”

I’m Waiting Lord ~

Waiting for God ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~ IBible Vereses Photo

I’m waiting Lord,
waiting just on You
I know deep down . . .
You will come through.

I’m believing Lord,
with all my heart and soul
for I know You are . . .
the one who’s in control.

I’m trusting Lord,
trusting whatever You do
I know everything . . .
is completely up to You.

I’m expecting Lord,
in You, I will rest
knowing that You know
what for me is best.

Lord, I’m waiting
waiting just for You
I’ll keep believing . . .
no matter what You do!

Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.

“It was the last and most important day of the Feast. Jesus stood up and spoke in a loud voice. He said, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Does anyone believe in me? Then, just as Scripture says, streams of living water will flow from inside him." When he said this, he meant the Holy Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit later. Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given. This was because Jesus had not yet received glory.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭7:37-39‬)
