The Reflections of My Soul ~

The reflections of my soul,
run long and deep . . .
I can see each time into it
God’s mercy began to seep.

I can remember the times,
when lost, was my direction
how God took me back
without any hesitation.

I can recall the episodes,
when my faith was bleak
how God gave me strength
knowing I was weak.

I can recollect the moments,
when I felt so all alone
how God directed me
to keeps my eyes on His throne.

I can call back to my mind,
the bouts of doubt and fear
how God reminded me
He was still close and near.

The reflections of my soul,
run long and deep . . .
as I think of God’s faithfulness
I can’t help but weep!

surely I will remember
thy wonders of old.”

Sing Your Hallelujahs ~

Sing your hallelujahs,
sing your praises too
sing about your Father
who loves you.

Sing about His favor,
sing about His kingdom
sing about the joy
of knowing His wisdom.

Sing your hallelujahs,
sing your praises too
sing to the whole world
why Jesus loves you.

Sing about His forgiveness,
sing about His grace
sing about His peace
when you seek His face.

Sing your hallelujahs,
sing your praises too
sing about your Savior
who came to save you.

Sing about heaven,
sing about the day
when the Lamb of God
will take you away.

Sing about faith,
sing about trust
sing about the Goodness
of a God who is just.

Sing your hallelujahs
sing your praises too
sing about the hope
that lives inside you!

God Is ~

God is . . .

Our Shadow in the heat,
our Calm in the wave
our Refuge in the storm
the Father who can save.

Our Peace surpassing,
our Stillness unreal
our Hope never-ending
the God to whom we kneel.

Our Buckler of Trust,
our Horn of Salvation
our Rock of Strength
the Judge of every nation.

Our Cloud in the Night
our Light unto the Way
our very Present Help
the Potter of the clay.

Our Shield of Faith,
our High Lofty Tower
our Fortress of Peace
the Almighty full of Power!

~~~~~~~~~
Isaiah 25:4
“For thou hast been
a strength to the poor,
a strength to the needy
in his distress,
a refuge from the storm,
a shadow from the heat,
when the blast of the
terrible ones is as
a storm against the wall.”
Grace and Faith ~
Grace and faith,
brings true liberation
for, it’s the only way
to finding salvation.
There’s no other path,
that we can take
only Jesus can seal
our eternal fate.
Grace and faith,
fits just like a glove
for it’s the greatest gift
of God’s merciful love.
There’s no other road,
for us to travel on
there’s only one way
to God and His Son.
Grace and faith,
nothing else to do
but to believe . . .
Jesus died for you!
For by grace are ye saved
through faith;
and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
I Feel Joy ~
I feel joy,
bubbling up in me
I feel hope
in what I can’t see.
I feel peace,
rising up in me
I feel settled
in what’s to be.
I feel grace,
soaking up in me
I feel sure
in Christ I’m free.
I feel pleasure,
swirling up in me
I feel ready
for eternal glee.
I feel joy,
bubbling up in me
I feel soon . . .
Jesus I will see!
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
Wresting With My Spirit ~
Sometimes with my spirit,
I use to wrestle with . . .
I’d toss and I’d turn over
whether God was just a myth.
I tussled with the thoughts,
of God’s mercy and His grace
I contended with the fact
that I’d ever see His face.
Sometimes with my heart,
I’d have a great debate
over whether heaven
would be my eternal fate.
I mulled around in my mind,
if Jesus died for me
and whether from my sins
I’d ever really be set free.
 I use to wrestle with,
the very enemy of my soul . . .
but, now to his attacks I’m aware
and refuse to give him control!
Holding Fast ~
Lord, help me to hold fast,
give me the stability
to grasp onto my faith
with grace and humility.
Help me to be steadfast,
give me quiet persistence
let me not grow weary
when I meet resistance.
Lord, help me to be firm.
so that I will not waiver
let me cling to the hope
You are my found Savior.
Help me to be secure,
keep me peacefully steady
with encouraging words
let me always be ready.
Lord, help me to hold fast,
to the trust in You I’ve found
keep me calmly resilient . . .
in spreading my faith around!
God Hates Sin ~
God hates man’s wickedness,
He despises the evil they do
He hates the grievous schemes
that in their hearts they brew.
God hates man’s stubbornness,
He loathes their rebellious ways
He hates how easily  . . .
satan can make their soul’s sway.
God hates man’s immoral nature,
He detests sin of every kind
He hates what man can do
with their bodies and their minds.
God hates man’s defiance,
He abhors their callousness
He hates that man is full
of cruelty and hatefulness.
God hates man’s wickedness,
He resents the evil they do
in fact it grieves Him . . .
He ever created them too!
~~~~~

Psalm 5:4-5

that hath pleasure in
wickedness: neither shall
evil dwell with thee.

The foolish shall not stand
in thy sight: thou hatest
all workers of iniquity.”

I have made them.”

Will You Too ~

Will you too be the one,
who turns their back
will you blame Jesus
for the faith you lack?

Will you run away from,
the Life and the Way
will you too be the one
whom the world sways?

Will you shut the door,
on the hope you found
will you too no longer
to your Savior be bound?

Will you depart,
unbelieving and resentful
will you too be the one
who’ll never be regretful?

Will it be you,
will you too be the one
who stops following
the Light of the Son?

Will it be you,
will too up and flee?
Oh, Lord I pray . . .
don’t let this too be me!

Ripe For the Picking ~

Oh, Lord I can feel,
it’s almost harvest time
and the fields for reaping
are more than prime.

Oh, Lord I can feel,
the coolness of the day
bringing the Good News
that You are on the way.

I can see the crops,
are ripe for the picking
I can hear the clock
speeding up its ticking.

I can see the falling,
of fruit from the True Vine
I can smell the bitterness
of rancid, rotten wine.

Oh, Lord I can feel,
the fields are all but prime
I sense You can return . . .
just about any time!

~~~~~~~
Revelation 14:15
” And another angel came
out of the temple,
crying with a loud voice
to him that sat on the cloud,
Thrust in thy sickle, and reap:
for the time is come for
thee to reap; for the
harvest of the earth is ripe.”
Don’t Be a Sellout ~
You can tell God you’re sorry,
ask Him for forgiveness . . .
but, without true repentance
sin, still will be your weakness.
You can try to conquer sin,
but, it is impossible to do
unless you have the Holy Spirit
and His power helping you.
You can beg and you can plea,
for your sins to be forgiven
but, without turning from them
to sin, you’ll still be driven.
You can try to stay away,
from all evil and wickedness
but, without the Light in your life
you’ll still be drawn to the darkness.
You can cry, you can weep,
over your besetting sin
but, without true remorse
over them you’ll never win.
You can try to keep sin at bay,
you can try to cut it out . . .
but, without true repentance
to sin you will still sellout!
“I came not to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.”
In The Lord’s House ~
In the my Father’s house,
I’m going to forever dwell
there is no way . . .
I’m willing to go to hell.
For, my sins I’ve confess,
repented and turned from
by grace through faith is how
I’ll enter His kingdom.
In Your house Lord,
is where I want to be
so, for the rest of my days
I’ll faithfully follow Thee.
For, the world is full darkness,
but, You have brought me Light
Your mercy and goodness
are now always in my sight.
In the my Father’s house,
I’m going to live forever
oh, how I cannot wait . . .
for us to be together!
My Cup Is Never Empty ~
My cup is never empty,
is it full to the brim
with wonderful thoughts
of starting today with Him.
For I am filled,
with all of God’s goodness
as I have found my true rest
in His mercy and forgiveness.
My cup is running over,
it’s never half gone
for I fill it each day
with the Light of the Son.
If I were to need a refill,
of God’s grace and love
all I ever have to do . . .
is look to the heaven above.
Is your cup ready,
to be filled with peace
then today make sure . . .
for your Bible you reach!
I am Not Afraid ~
I am not afraid,
of the evil things I see
even my own death
will not put a scare in me.
For, You my Lord,
are always near by
and will always be
until the day I die.
I am not dismayed,
by the valley ahead
for I believe through it
I will be Spirit lead.
For, when the time comes,
for me to go on home
it’ll be the happiest day
I have ever known.
I am not afraid,
I have nothing to fear
for Jesus my heart
will comfort and cheer!
~~~~~~~~~

the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;

they comfort me.”

God Knows All About Us ~

God knows,
each one of us
He knows if we doubt
or in Him trust.

He knows our names,
each and every one
He knows those who put
their faith in His Son.

God knows,
all of our needs
He knows if we believe
in His awesome deeds.

He knows our troubles,
the sum of our woes
He knows those who will
follow where He shows.

God knows,
our comings and goings
our future and our fate
He knows those heading
straight for the gate!

So Many Needs ~

So many needs,
so many cares
causing His sheep
so much despair.

When will they seek,
when will they come
to the One who will
bear every one?

So many problems,
so many concerns
causing His sheep
thoughts to churn.

When will they know,
when will they find
Jesus is waiting
to comfort their mind?

So many doubts,
so many questions
causing His sheep
bouts of depression.

When will they see,
when will they hear
Jesus is wanting
to calm their fear?

So many defeated,
so many gone astray
so many we can lead . . .
back to Jesus today!

~~~~~~~
have gone astray;
we have turned
every one to
his own way;
and the Lord
the iniquity of us all.”
On The Righteous Path ~
Jesus leads me,
on the righteous path
He steers me from knowing
His Father’s wrath.
He wants nothing more,
than for me to be
faithful and trustful
as He guides me.
Jesus leads me,
for the sake of His name
He wants me to see
how without Him I’m lame.
He knows I am weak,
feeble at best
He knew without grace
I’d have no eternal rest.
Jesus leads me,
it is I who must follow
for my life absent of Him
is meaningless and hollow!
Lift Me Higher Lord ~
When my troubles,
are overwhelming
before my cares
become unrelenting.
I look to Jesus,
to lift me higher
so His peace
I might acquire.
When my worries,
are too heavy
before my tears
become steady.
I go to Jesus,
my High Rock
and in the storm
with Him I walk.
When my fears,
begin to transpire
I look to Jesus
to lift me higher!
The Dew of God’s Spirit ~
God sends His Spirit,
like the dew from above
to cover us each day
with His mercy and love.
Glistening beads of hope,
to soften the hard crust
so we may put in Him
every ounce of our trust.
He refreshes us daily,
with tiny drops of dew
so our faith may grow
in the things that are true.
Dew drops from heaven,
seeping into our hearts
so more of His grace
each day He can impart.
Restoring dew drops,
soak up our daily strife
filling us with His peace
and the joy of new life.
God sends His Spirit,
like sweet drops of dew
so each day our hearts
He can repair and  renew!
upon the mountains of Zion:
for there the Lord commanded
All My Soul Needs ~
The Lord is my Shepherd,
I want nothing more
then the joy and glory
for me He has in store.
He satisfies my thirst,
my hunger He fills
my anxiety and fears
He calms and stills.
The Lord is my Shepherd,
I want not a thing
for my heart is set
on the peace He’ll bring.
He is my saving Light,
He is my High Rock
I’m so blessed to be
a part of His flock.
The Lord is my Shepherd,
there’s nothing I lack
my faith in Him is all . . .
He want’s me to give back!
I shall not want.”
The Undiluted Word of God ~
The Undiluted Word of God ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
Give me the pure Word of God,
not the New Age diminished versions
give me the real Good News
not the ones filled with man’s perversions.
Give me the sincere Word of God,
so I can taste all of His goodness
give me the undiluted translation
not the ones supporting man’s lewdness.
Give me the solid Word of God,
so I can sink my teeth into it
give me the true meat of the Gospel
not the ones coming from man’s own spirit.
Give me the sincere Word of God,
so I may savor His mercy and grace
give me the true unaltered Scriptures
not the ones that makes me feel no disgrace.
Give me the pure Word of God,
so my soul may be nourished
give me the Holy Spirit inspired version
not the ones that man has refurbished!
My Soul Shall Live On ~
My Soul Shall Live On ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
My body may perish,
but, my soul shall live on
all because I believe Jesus
is God’s only begotten Son.
Eternal life I was promised,
when my sins I confessed
and from that day forward
with His Spirit I’ve been blessed.
My body is growing weak,
but my spirit’s getting stronger
for it has truly repented
and is in this world no longer.
I long for the day when,
I will spend all of eternity
with my Lord and Savior
in blissful serenity.
My body may perish,
but, my soul it shall live on
all because of God’s mercy
and the grace of His Son!
