Sometimes in our lives,
God sends a test . . .
to awaken us from
our false sense of rest.
He wants to see if we are,
still watchful and alert
so when satan attacks
his strikes we can avert.
Sometimes in our lives,
God sends a trial . . .
to see if we are living
a righteous life-style.
He wants to see if our faith,
has become obscure
or if we have the strength
in this world to endure.
Sometimes in our lives,
God tries and proves us
just to see the measure
of our faith and trust!
~~~~~~~~
Beloved, think it not strange
concerning the fiery trial
which is to try you, as though
some strange thing happened
unto you:
Thanks for your recent posts on tests and trials. After weeks of one thing on top of another, this one made me realize that maybe this is all a test or trial by God (how slow I can be at time!).
Blessing to you today,
Carole
Carole, it’s hard for me to tell what is from God and what is just life. I find that if it tests my patience or tries my faith and trust that it must be from God! ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~
I have been waiting for that trumpet since my early teens. We will meet in those clouds and will know one another. Praise God for His promise of salvation through his Son Christ Jesus. ❤️🤗🙏🙏
I know what you mean sister when your faith is so strong and we know what is waiting why would anyone want to live on this earth. The answer I tell myself is that God loves us all and He wants all His children with him. So the Holy Spirit works through people like you. Saving souls feeding His Saints with God’s words and your beautiful Psalms. We are ready but so many are not. I think you are doing exactly what God has called you to do. So thankful for you Deborah. Love you sister. ❤️🤗🌹🦋
I agree there are still many souls to reap. I have a few relatives who have wandered off and need to be brought home. I pray everyday for the lost and unsaved in the world 🙏 ❤️🤗 Love and hugs to you sister in Christ ❤️🤗
It is very hard as a believer to watch someone die who does not believe. I am not surprised to hear you pray for the unsaved daily. I pray often for the unsaved and rejoice when I hear that someone who was an atheist for his whole live is now praying for others. I need to pray daily too. See what a good sister you are. I will make a habit of praying for this before I get out of bed daily. Thank you, Deborah I too, will follow your wonderful prayerful ways. We need to be doing that more than ever. Love you bunches. ❤️🤗🦋
I find myself praying all day long. I send up prayers big and little when ever I think about God intervening in a situation, or in a person’s life. I have prayer journals that I started 30 years ago. I still do write in them but not like I use to. I love going back and reading them and seeing just how God answered some of the prayers. I still have unanswered prayers written in them . . . all in God’s timing . . . right! Love you heaps and bunches too dear sister ❤️🤗
That is amazing. You are a prayer warrior. I remembered to pray for all lost souls today thanks to you. I should get back into my prayer closet. When I was visiting nightly I felt closer to God. Yellow stickers line the space and most prayers have check marks. Thinking of how much I appreciate you Deborah, my very gracious sister. All in God’s timing. ❤️🙏🙏❤️
I too need to spend more time in a deeper conversation with God. Do you really have a closet? My daughter told me of her friend whose mother does. Hope and pray your week has gone well love and hugs to you ❤️🤗
Yes, I sat in the dark in prayer with the prayers on little sticky notes. I got the idea from the beautiful movie “War Room,” I haven’t done it since Covid. I need to get back into it. My week is going well hope you have a blessed weekend. Love to you sister. 🤗🙏❤️🙏
I never saw that movie. I should order it and watch it with my hubby who just asked me about praying. I pray you are having a glorious Lord’s Day and that God will bless your week ahead with hope, love, health and peace 🤗🙏❤️
