My God Cares For Me ~

My God cares for me,
He hears me when I pray
He is willing to help me
to get through the day.

So I rely on Him daily,
for His mercies plentiful
and depend on His graces
abundant and bountiful.

My God cares for me,
His Word tells me so
I can count on Him
to go wherever I go.

So I trust Him to lead me,
and to show me the way
to where His unfailing love
will keep my fears at bay.

My God cares for me,
onto Him mine I cast . . .
I trust Him to take them
from me whenever I ask!

God’s Cup Is Brimming ~

God’s cup is brimming,
with His mercies and grace . .
He desires nothing more
than to see us finish the race.

So He gives us strength,
whenever ours is weak
keeping us humble
so we may remain meek.

He renews our faith,
so like eagles we’ll soar
in storms He helps us
to rise over the roar.

His anger is slow,
as we stumble along
His love is steadfast
to keep our trust strong.

He forgives and forgets,
our sins and our shame
He provides salvation
to all who call on His name.

with compassion and favor
so He sent His own Son . . .
to be our personal Savior!

Tears Fall From Up In Heaven ~

Tears fill up their ducts,
with deep sorrow they fall from
for His eyes see the sadness . . .
of the days still yet to come.

They well within their rims,
till they begin to overflow
for His eyes see the grief . . .
of what only He could know.

They trickle down His cheeks,
as they slowly start to run
for His eyes see the world . . .
without the love of His Son.

They flood from their brims,
and puddle onto the floor
for His eyes see the day . . .
this world will be no more.

Tears fall from up in heaven,
like a thunderous mighty rain
so many still live their lives . . .
in futileness and in vain.

God cries for the unsaved,
the lost, the unforgiven . . .
His tears reflect those who reject

A Touch Of His Hem ~

When I saw Him from a distance,
I ran and followed after Him
for, I believed all I needed . . .
was just a touch of His hem.

For years I’ve been scorned,
shunned by those around me
so I hid myself in the crowd
hoping my shame He wouldn’t see.

As He passed by I reached down,
and took from Him my cure . . .
for, I believed this man named Jesus
would heal me if my faith was pure.

He called me His daughter,
when my trust in Him I revealed
and from that very moment
from my disease I was healed.

He bid to me to go in good comfort,
saying my faith had made me whole
for, I believe as I touched His hem . . .
He imparted favor right into my soul.

There is a lesson to my story,
don’t be ashamed of your illness or sin
for Jesus still heals today . . .
if you let Him touch you from within!

God’s Favor For Us ~

God’s favor for us,
will not go away
His grace and love
are here to stay.

But we must have,
a contrite heart . . .
so mercy into it
He can impart.

He daily releases
His blessings for us
He only increases.

But we must have.
a humble spirit . . .
so more of His grace
He can put into it.

God’s favor for us,
is our certainty
His grace and love

God Will Always Mend ~

I have lived a life of losses,
with hardship as my friend . . .
but I’ve come to understand
how God will always mend.

For there is not a problem,
too great for Him to take
not a soul He can’t change
regenerate or remake.

There isn’t a broken heart,
Jesus cannot repair . . .
not a soul He won’t save
from the depth of despair.

For there is not a worry,
which for Him is too small
no trouble is too imposing
for He came to bear them all.

So no matter what your loss,
no matter where you’ve been
let God repair and mend . . .
the effects of pain and sin!

Forget The Past ~

There are many things,
we need to forget . . .
lest our soul’s will become
besieged by regret.

We need to wash our sins,
in the blood of grace
we need after former things
no longer pursue or chase.

We need to put the past,
behind us once and for all
we need on our failures
to cease on them to recall.

We need to banish our pride,
into the wilderness
we need to claim in Jesus
His love and forgiveness.

There are many things,
God has forgotten about us
now in His mercy . . .
we need to learn to trust!

Where Faith and Love Dwells ~

Sometimes I wander through,
 the valleys of my soul . . .
lingering near the streams of life
when I felt well and whole.

I ponder the times Jesus filled in,
the empty and void space
where His love for me flowed
like a river full of endless grace.

As I stroll along the rugged clefts,
I can see the hard times too
as I roam all around them
His mercy for me shines through.

I come across the mountains,
that I had to hike up to . . .
some of them I never thought
the hard climb I could ever do.

But I remember seeing Jesus,
standing upon the crest
calling down to me
“Come, I’ll give you rest.”

Sometimes I like to wander,
through life’s hills and dells
and go deep into my soul . . .
where faith and love dwells!

When I am knee high,

when I am anxious
about each tomorrow.

I look at the span,
of God’s mercy . . .
instead of the extent
of my worry.

When I am waist deep,
in the vast unknown
when fear’s grip
clinches my backbone

I look to the depth,
of God’s grace . . .
instead of the expanse
of the dark space.

When I am as low,
as I can possibly go . . .
I look to the favor
God on me bestows!

Faith Springs Forth ~

by the grace of Jesus’ love.

When your heart screams,
I can’t take anymore . . .
when it can no longer
continue in torment’s war.

That is when it needs,
God protective shield
so to His perfect peace
it can begin to yield.

When you heart hollers,
stop terrorizing me . . .
when it shouts out loud
why won’t you let me be.

That’s when it needs,
Jesus to console it
so He can bring His calm
into your own spirit.

to a place of giving up . . .

Under The Umbrella Of God’s Love ~

Breaking The Chain of Pain ~

Living in the past,
is so easy to do . . .
it’s not hard to recall
the bad things done to you.

Letting go is not so simple,
there’s no effort in hanging on
and to forget the past images
takes an awful lot of brawn.

So, we live with the despair,
the heartaches and the pain
and the peace God promised
our misery will only drain.

It’s not until we come,
to a place where we forgive
that we find the tranquility
in which God wants us to live.

So, if you are in the shackles,
which bind you to the past
let Jesus release your burden
and you’ll be free at last!

In God’s holy presence,
there’s joy in its fullness
pleasures circulating
His everlasting goodness.

There is peace and hope,
a spreading of refreshing

of life-changing blessings.

upon the Holy Spirit’s
heart filling outpouring.

There’s an internal calm,
an outgoing of favor

of grace from a Savior.

Give me a new morning,

The Source of My Solace ~

God is the source,
of my solace . . .
for His loving-kindness
is perfect and flawless.

Whenever I need,
His mercy anew
for me He always . . .

Days Without Rain ~

God didn’t promise us,
days without any rain
times when we’d have
no suffering or pain.

But, He did promise us,
He’d always be there
to carry our burdens

the grace to endure

There’s Nothing So Hard ~

 

There is no heart so hard,
that God cannot transform
there is no soul so dark
that mercy cannot reform.

that God will have us to do
there are no circumstances
that He can’t strengthen you.

there is no test so daunting

The Mercy of God is Powerful ~

The Mercy of God is potent,
it can loosen every chain
holding one of His children
in the torment of their pain.

The mercy of God is powerful,
it breaks the sinful binds
it restores and it can heal
His children’s hearts and minds.

The mercy of God is delivering,
it weakens wickedness’ grasp
it gives His children strength
from satan’s hold, to unclasp.

The mercy of God is freeing,
it separates good from evil
His children it will save
from the schemes of the devil.

The mercy of God is bountiful,
it’s sufficient and plenteous
His children know intimately
just how much, He is gracious!

God Is Full of Mercy ~

God is full of mercy,
I know this to be true
and He wants me
to give some to you.

So, I pray He’ll comfort,

and my pleas for you

God is full of favor,

and He has given me
compassion just for you.

So, I’ll be asking Him,
to bring your heart peace

filled with painful things

God’s healing peace

God gets you,

The Microscope of Grace ~

Under the microscope of grace,
God sees our imperfection
and we must be willing to open . . .
up our hearts for His inspection.

Through the lens of His mercy,
He can spot our hidden sin
and we must let Him search
the crevices within.

His light will focus in on,
the darkness still inside
and we must realize from Him
there’s nothing we can hide.

With compassion and pity,
God sees us who we are
He can spot in a second
those close to Him or far.

God looks for His Son’s image,
to be reflected back at Him
and under grace’s microscope . . .
He sees through our secret sin!

Lord, a new day has come,
another one for me to face
and I know I can’t make it
without Your love and grace.

I’ll too need Your mercy,
if I am to stay strong
and please will You send me
some joy to take along.

But mostly give me peace,
through the course of day
so I can keep worry
doubt and fear at bay.

And while You are at it,
there is one more thing
I need hope regardless
of what today may bring.

I Love God’s Mercy ~

I love God’s mercy,

Those who seek God’s favor,
before they start their day
find protection for their soul
as they go about their way.

Our early cries to God,
our morning meditation
are for our troubled soul
the best kind of medication.

with a heart full of praise
find peace and tranquility
along life’s winding maze.
