For Every Beginning ~

For every beginning,
there must be an end
just like a rainbow . . .
must have a bend.

But, He who has begun,
a good work in you
will be there to help
and see you through.

For what He begins,
will not fade away
what He has started
He’ll complete one day.

His love set in motion,
is constant and true
He’ll never cease
taking care of you.

His comfort is steady,
to soothe and to ease
He is always eager
to satisfy and please.

His hope is ceaseless,
forever it goes on
just like a new day . . .
must have a dawn.

His faithfulness persists,
no matter the season
He’ll always forgive you
no matter the reason.

His gentle, kind mercies,
are eternally bound
forever they comfort
they are yours to be found.

His truth sets us free,
from Satan’s deception
and He’ll liberate us all
on the Day of Redemption.

For those who endure,
will be saved to the end
for Jesus has promised
to be our eternal friend.

So, give your life to Jesus,
and you’ll find perfect rest
just like the sun . . .
must set in the west!

A Fruitful Life ~

A life fruitful,
is a life trusting
one the Holy Spirit
is always leading.

It’s a journey,
lasting a lifespan
for God to finish
what He began.

A life fruitful,
is a life faithful
one that is to God
eternally grateful.

It’s an excursion,
into the living Word
an exercise of doing
all you have heard.

A life fruitful,
is a life of growing
one that takes . . .
Jesus knowing!

A lifetime of growth,

is what it will take . . .
to become discerning.

For it takes insight,
and good judgment too
for the Holy Spirit

a lifetime of mistakes
is what it will take . . .
for the truth awake.

For it takes awareness,
deep understanding too . . .
to let God finish
what He began in you.

A lifetime of reshaping,
a lifelong transformation
is our journey on the road
to complete conformation!

Transformation Takes Time ~

Conversion isn’t always,
instantly spontaneous
for most people it is . . .
fragile and precarious.

For us it’s a transition,
from the old into the new
and we know it will take
a lifetime to get through.

Transformation isn’t always,
an over night occurrence
for most people it is . . .
building up endurance.

For us it’s a slow process,
to keep our faith growing
and we know it will take
perseverance knowing.

Conversion doesn’t always,
happen with speed or quickness
but we know what God begun . . .
when Christ returns He’ll finish!

What God’s Begun ~

God’s been working,
in me I know . . .
and what He began
is starting to show.

He’s given my mind,
a transformation
to follow His ways
until my completion.

He’s taken my heart,
once made of stone
gave me a new one
just like His own.

He’s breathed new life,
into my dead soul
gave it His Spirit
to be in control.

Every day of my life,
He is working in me
I know its His image
He’s wanting to see.

God is not finished,
with what He’s begun
and I can hardly wait . . .
until with me He’s done!
