For Every Beginning ~

For every beginning,
there must be an end
just like a rainbow . . .
must have a bend.

But, He who has begun,
a good work in you
will be there to help
and see you through.

For what He begins,
will not fade away
what He has started
He’ll complete one day.

His love set in motion,
is constant and true
He’ll never cease
taking care of you.

His comfort is steady,
to soothe and to ease
He is always eager
to satisfy and please.

His hope is ceaseless,
forever it goes on
just like a new day . . .
must have a dawn.

His faithfulness persists,
no matter the season
He’ll always forgive you
no matter the reason.

His gentle, kind mercies,
are eternally bound
forever they comfort
they are yours to be found.

His truth sets us free,
from Satan’s deception
and He’ll liberate us all
on the Day of Redemption.

For those who endure,
will be saved to the end
for Jesus has promised
to be our eternal friend.

So, give your life to Jesus,
and you’ll find perfect rest
just like the sun . . .
must set in the west!

Put On the New Man ~

Lord, You offered me this new man,
and asked me to put him on . . .
You challenged me to grow in him
and be willing to be Spirit drawn.

You told me my life was worthless,
and my heart was as dry as dust
how my mind was full of darkness
overflowing with greed and lust.

You asked me to give to You,
the worldly joys in my possession
You told me in return for them
You’d forgive me my transgression.

You made me open up my eyes,
to the useless things I do
showing me they are fruitless
when not being done for You.

You revealed to me my pain,
was from the emptiness inside
and why this old and new man . . .
can’t live happily side by side.

Lord, You asked me to make a choice,
a heart dark for one full of light . . .
so I chose to put on the new man
and to give the old one a holy fight!

Beautiful Feet ~

How beautiful are the feet,
traveling across each nation
who share the Good News . . .
about God and His creation.

How faithful are the lives,
journeying into the streets
who bring the love of Jesus
to the sinners that they meet.

How gracious are the ones,
willing to leave their own home
so they can bring back to God
just one sheep on the roam.

How loyal are the steps,
of those going out each day
to share salvation’s story
to all they meet along the way.

How beautiful are the feet
entering the faithful race . . .
proclaiming God’s salvation
and the peace of His grace!

Helping One Another ~

Helping one another,
burdens to bear
we all need to do
to exhibit we care.

Showing them Jesus’,
love and grace
is something we all
need to embrace.

Assisting someone,
in their time of need
is something we all
should daily heed.

We can aid a neighbor,
tend to a friend unwell
or just hold a hand
till their fears unravel.

Helping one another,
needn’t be laborious . . .
we can simply just share
in God our faith and trust!

The Thrill Of Trusting ~

Oh, the thrill of trusting God,
to meet our every need
to no longer live in fear
or follow where it may lead.

Oh, how great is the faith,
of the one who doesn’t doubt
who stands on the promise
God will figure all things out.

Oh, how great is His delight,
when we give to Him our strife
to place in our Master’s hand
complete control of our life.

Oh, how wonderful is the way,
which is paved in sound belief
Jesus is the soul’s provider
for everlasting peace and relief.

Oh, the thrill of trusting God,
in everything by prayer
to give to Him our every need
casting onto Him our daily care!
