God’s Earthen Vessels ~

We are jars of clay,
God’s earthen vessels
filled with His power
at all kinds of levels.

Power to open,
eyes that are blind
power to enlighten
the uninformed mind.

Power to proclaim,
to all the Good News
power to rise above
any opposing views.

Power to know,
when we need to be still
power to go and do
what is God’s perfect will.

God’s earthen vessels,
with His power infused
fragile clay jars . . .
by Him to be used.

people who can’t see.

See the Life,
the Truth and the Way
nor hear what Jesus
has to tell and say.

so to His compassion

the peace He brings
the strength He gives
to rise above all things.

Light-bearers,
candle-holders

truth beholders.

Bearing witness,
to the Life and Way
shines His Light

Embracing The Cross ~

Everyday we need to be,
the cross embracing . . .
each day we should be
like Jesus behaving.

We need into His image,
keep on transforming
and to the world ways
stop being conforming.

Everyday we need to be,
grace and love’s reflection
so with the unsaved
we can make a connection.

We need to resemble,
Jesus’ saving light
so in man’s foolish heart
our hope will shine bright.

Everyday we need to be,
to the cross adhering
so more can be ready
for His next appearing!

It’s Always Harvest Time ~

Not just at harvest time,
do we need to have a reason
we can plant seeds of hope
in and out of every season.

We can reap souls to Jesus,
no matter the time of year
it doesn’t have to be Autumn
harvest time is always here.

Seeds of faith can be planted,
into the hearts of everyone
whether under snowy covers
or the warm blanket of the sun.

We can gather in the lost,
bring back a wandering soul
it needn’t be just in the Fall
for the harvest God controls.

It’s always harvest time,
we don’t need to have a reason
we can sow seeds of hope . . .
in and out of every season!

Be A Son Beam ~

May the Light of the World,

Why I am Hopeful ~

When others ask,
about the hope inside me
I tell them it’s from . . .
believing in what I can’t see.

They look at me puzzled,
til to them I explain . . .
how Jesus on my soul
left an invisible bloodstain.

I confess how He became,
my Lord and Savior
how His love for me is full
of mercy, grace and favor.

I tell them from my sins,
once I turned and repented
how Jesus’ very own Spirit
to me was presented.

And now He guides me,
each and every day
helping me to remain
on the narrow way.

My hope is set on,
the day in heaven I will be
and that is why I say . . .
I believe in what I can’t see!

Jesus gives hope,
in exchange for despair
for our hearts He is able
to heal, renew and repair.

He gives needful rest,
in the midst of strife
for He came to give us
a more peaceful life.

Jesus gives us faith,
in exchange for doubt
our cares He takes
by casting our fears out.

He gives a new sight,
to those who can’t see
by making satan . . .
from them run and flee.

Jesus takes broken things,
He makes them beautiful
so they may become . . .
for His kingdom usable!

It is God I want,

A Wise Servant ~

A wise servant,
feeds the sheep
so more souls for Jesus
they can reap.

They are trustworthy,
reliable and dedicated
by His own words
they are motivated.

They are prudent,
their faith is mature
for they know His flock
they need to nurture.

They are prepared,
to spread the Good News
to the wayward sheep
with worldly views.

A faithful servant,
knows its true mission
is to save more sheep . . .
from their sinful condition!

How beautiful are the feet,
traveling across each nation
who share the Good News . . .
about God and His creation.

How faithful are the lives,
journeying into the streets
who bring the love of Jesus
to the sinners that they meet.

How gracious are the ones,
willing to leave their own home
so they can bring back to God
just one sheep on the roam.

How loyal are the steps,
of those going out each day
to share salvation’s story
to all they meet along the way.

How beautiful are the feet
entering the faithful race . . .
proclaiming God’s salvation
and the peace of His grace!

Sin stoppers, temptation busters,

An Assignment From God~

When God gives you,
an earthly assignment
make sure it is on Him
you remain reliant.

For without His power,
you will be too frail . . .
but, with it flowing in you

duties to perform

onto His mighty arm.

For without His support,
you wont be up to the tasks
but with it you will be able
to do all that He asks.

Walking Worthy ~

Walking worthy,
is our godly calling

keep on falling.

We need to toe the line,
one step at a time
we must keep ourselves
in God’s Word prime.

The ungodly,
are spiritually poor
the lack the faith
to open the Door.

the Truth to them

A Spirit-led heart,
lives in each of us

Whatever You want Lord,

Silent People ~

Silent people,
are all around
you may see them
but they make no sound.

For they are in,
an emotional prison
oh, how they need
someone to just listen.

Silent sufferers,
need to be heard
but they say not
one single word.

We need to be,
to them more aware
and open our ears
to hearing their care.

everywhere we go

we need to let them know!

If we’re to follow the Way,

in our own will begin to show.

If we’re to be His light,

Sheep Needing Feeding ~

The harvest is getting closer,
so many sheep need feeding
it’s time to go into the field
for so many are needing.

Needing to know God,
His mercy and favor
needing to find hope
the grace of a Savior.

Needing to be set free,
from satan’s deceit
needing the Gospel truth
about the judgment seat.

Needing the blood of Christ,
the Truth, Way and Life
needing to find freedom
from their sinful strife.

Harvest time is coming,
the sheep still need feeding
and it’s up to you and I . . .
to fulfill Jesus’ heeding!
