Whiter Than Snow ~

Whiter than snow,
is your every sin
when Jesus’ blood
cleanses you within.

For when you’re washed,
in His loving grace
redemption is yours
by faith to embrace.

Once crimson red,
now like wool white
your heart with God
will finally be right.

For once you repent,
and turn from your ways
forgiveness is yours
for the rest of your days.

The Simplicity Of My Faith ~

Whenever I’m being quizzed,
questioned or asked . . .
why I believe the way I do
to my faith I hold on fast.

For, there are a lot of areas,
others say that are gray . . .
so I stick to the simplicity
of the Life, Truth and Way.

Whenever I met someone,
who wants to argue and fight
about biblical contradiction
I stick to following the Light.

For, these kind of arguments,
effect not my salvation . . .
so I stick to the fact Jesus
is my faith’s true foundation.

Whenever I am quizzed,
and by others being judged
from the simplicity of my faith
I will never, ever budge!

In The Sea of Forgiveness ~

In the sea of forgiveness,
repentant sins are entombed
never again by God
to be brought up or exhumed.

For God forgets our sins,
remembers them no more
once Jesus died for them
to settle for us the score.

As far as the east resides,
from where the west belongs
that is how far our sins are cast
along with all of our wrongs.

For God forgives our sins,
removes them from His sight
replaced them with the grace
of Jesus’ saving light.

In the sea of forgiveness,
are where our sins will stay
whenever the sinner’s prayer
to God we bow and pray!

Out of the darkness,
into God’s marvelous light

a peculiar new sight.

To the world we are seen,

He is the One true God.

But we are in God’s eyes,

His daughters and sons.

For we’ve been chosen,
by His very own hand
to inherit in Christ

I always knew,
there was something more . . .
something bigger than me
to go and explore.

I knew that this world,
didn’t offer it to me
instead I would find it
in what I could not see.

So I went on a search,
to find and identify
the meaning to life . . .
that didn’t mystify.

Tis when I found,
what I was missing
and how without it
I was just living.

For God in my heart,
did something beautiful
and for the rest of my days
to Him I’ll be grateful.

there was something more
and now up in heaven

The Light Shines ~

The Light shines in the darkness,

the power of the Holy Spirit.

it can’t understand the Light

Though I’m Born Again ~

Though I’m born again,
I still look the same . . .
the only difference is
I’m baptized in His name.

I know I’m still a sinner,
but, I’m trying hard not to be
and I’m sure that my faults
you still can see in me.

I’ve got a lot of changing,
that I know I need to do
but, I believe that my Savior
is doing in me something new.

I know I’m not yet perfect,
but, I’m learning every day
how to live like Jesus
by following His righteous way.

I’ve made many choices,
that I am not proud of
but, I’m counting on God mercy
and trusting in His love.

Though I am born again,
I am not without blame . . .
but, the day I accepted Jesus
He took away my shame!

the weak are now the strong
the heavy-hearted now rejoice
and sing salvation’s song.

The grieving finds true comfort,

In Jesus, all know their faith
is found in what they can’t see.

In Jesus, the hungry are satisfied,
the thirsty now are quenched
the wandering soul is no longer
in their worldly sins entrenched.

The tempted find the righteous way,

God’s love never fails,

that is our assurance
our eternal insurance.

Our soul He’ll protect,
our heart He’ll perfect
this is His assurance

the assurance of His power
no matter the day or hour.

He is the grace in our cup,
when on His Word we sup

God Forgets And Forgives ~

Some people find it hard,
to accept they’re forgiven
and so by their shame
their faith is being driven.

They do not understand,
God forgives and forgets
and so they hold on to . . .
their remorse and regrets.

Some people find it difficult,
to accept and move on
and so to their failures
they are constantly drawn.

They do not comprehend,
the meaning of God’s grace
and so onto their past sins
they continue to embrace.

Some people need to find,
the peace of God’s favor
by giving their unrighteousness
to Christ, Jesus their Savoir!
