A Song Of Deliverance ~

Everyone needs a song,
of deliverance . . .
everyone needs Jesus
to make a difference.

Everyone needs a victory,
over the enemy
everyone needs a fortress
that is heavenly.

Everyone needs a defense,
a rock to cling on
everyone needs Jesus
to depend upon.

Everyone needs a tower,
they can run into
everyone needs a trust
that they can pursue.

Everyone needs a song,
of their redemption. . .
everyone needs Jesus
for their salvation!

~~~~~
Isaiah 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and not be afraid:
for the Lord Jehovah
is my strength
and my song;
he also is become
my salvation.
Psalm 18:1-2
I will love thee, O Lord,
my strength.
The Lord is my rock,
and my fortress,
and my deliverer;
my God, my strength,
in whom I will trust;
my buckler,
and the horn of my salvation,
and my high tower.
Some People Think ~
Some people look down,
their angelic noses . . .
when to others they give
their saintly diagnosis.
They eagerly point out,
things once done in sin
while they boast about
their own restraint within.
Some people think,
they have done no wrong
but will happily talk about
your mistakes all day long.
They brag all about,
the good they have done
from the time they rise
to the setting of the sun.
Some people have forgotten,
we’re all sinners in God’s eyes
and if you were to tell them . . .
it would be a big surprise!
I Have Me A Debt ~
I have me debt,
that I need to pay
not all at once . . .
but as I go my way.
For, I owe it to God,
to trust and obey
so my indebtedness
to Him I can repay.
I have me a credit,
there’s a balance due
the one way to pay it
is Jesus to follow You.
For, You’ve given me,
a life brand new
now in my Spirit
there is His too.
I have me a debt,
I’ll never pay it wholly
but I can live a life
righteous and holy!
~~~~~~~~~~

Romans 8:11-13

But if the Spirit of him
that raised up Jesus
from the dead dwell in you,
he that raised up Christ
from the dead shall also
quicken your mortal bodies
by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Therefore, brethren,
we are debtors, not to the flesh,
to live after the flesh.

For if ye live after the flesh,
ye shall die: but if ye through
the Spirit do mortify the deeds
of the body, ye shall live.

Without The Blood ~

Without Your blood,
Lord, we’d still be lost
without Your truth . . .
we’d still be dross.

Without Your grace,
we’d still be hopeless
without Your mercy . . .
we’d still be worthless.

Without Your atonement,
Lord, we’d still be doomed
without Your forgiveness . . .
we’d still by sin be consumed.

Without Your love,
we’d still be lifeless
without Your crucifixion
we’d still be helpless.

Lord, without Your blood,
we’d still be sinners
without Your sacrifice . . .
there’d be no crown winners!

~~~~~~~~~~
Hebrews 9:12
Neither by the blood of goats
and calves, but by his own blood
he entered in once into the
holy place, having obtained
eternal redemption for us.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man that
endureth temptation:
for when he is tried,
he shall receive the
crown of life, which
the Lord hath promised
to them that love him.
Oh, Prodigal ~
Oh, prodigal
what made you roam
how did you wander
so far from home?
What led you away,
from the Truth and Life
what took you on the path
to everlasting strife?
Oh, prodigal,
what made you stray
who enticed you off
the straight narrow way.
What convinced you,
from God you could hide
what seduced you onto
the road broad and wide?
Oh prodigal,
what made you roam . . .
God won’t give up on you
until your back home!
~~~~~~~~~~

Matthew 18:12-13

How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep,
and one of them be gone astray, doth he not
leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into
the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you,
he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety
and nine which went not astray.

Restless ~

Restless hearts,
are everywhere
burdened down
by all their care.

Worry lines spread,
across their face
etched with the need
to find God’s grace.

Restless souls,
are all around
fear and dread
keeps them bound.

Furrowed brows,
show their vexation
oh, how they need
to find salvation.

Restless people,
restless minds . . .
oh, how they need
Jesus to find!

~~~~~
Isaiah 57:20-21
But the wicked are like
the troubled sea,
when it cannot rest,
whose waters cast up
mire and dirt.
There is no peace,
saith my God,
to the wicked.
All Things Created ~
All things held together,
by God’s mighty hands
all things come together
according to His plans.
All things in heaven,
by God were fashioned
all things here on earth
He wisely sanctioned.
All things that are seen,
and all that which are not
were conceived by God
and the power of His thought.
The thrones and the rulers,
the mandates that be
were all formed and made
to give glory to Thee.
All things by God,
were created and established
so His plan for salvation . . .
could be accomplished!
~~~~~~~

Colossians 1:16-18

For by him were all things created,
that are in heaven,
and that are in earth,
visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions,
or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by him,
and for him:

And he is before all things,
and by him all things consist.

And he is the head of the body,
the church: who is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead;
that in all things he might have
the preeminence.

From Guilt to Shameless ~

Come unto Me,
rest is what I’ll give
when you ask of Me
your past to forgive.

Come let Me wash,
your sins away
from all those years
you went astray.

Come unto Me,
My burden is painless
with Me you’ll go . . .
from guilt to shameless.

Come let Me take,
your shame and disgrace
so I may free you
with My love and grace.

Come unto Me,
rest is what you’ll find
not just for your heart
but too for your mind!

Truly Loathsome~

All we humans,
are truly loathsome
we are all to God . . .
far from wholesome.

But, we who repent,
have been forgiven
and to evil we are . . .
no longer driven.

We are all wicked,
utterly revolting
we are all to God
wrath provoking.

But, we who confess,
our every transgression
are no longer filled
with sin’s obsession.

All we humans,
are detestable beings
but, we who love Jesus . . .
in heaven we’ll be seeing!

~~~~~~~~~~
Ezekiel 20:43
And there shall ye remember your ways,
and all your doings, wherein ye have
been defiled; and ye shall lothe
yourselves in your own sight for
all your evils that ye have committed.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted,
that your sins may be blotted out,
when the times of refreshing shall
come from the presence of the Lord.
Dying Breath ~
Don’t you wait,
till your last breath
turn to Jesus today . . .
before your death.
For He can give you,
a life worth living
once you discover
He is forgiving.
Don’t you wait,
til your death bed
turn to Jesus today . . .
before your dead.
For by His grace,
He will save you . . .
if you have the faith
to believe in Him too.
Don’t you wait,
til you have no more air
turn to Jesus now . . .
and your soul He’ll spare!
I’m So Glad I Found Jesus ~
Through life’s many trials,
and all its tribulations
I’m so glad I found . . .
the Life of salvation.
For my life was a battle,
I could never win
without Jesus telling me
go no more and sin.
Through life’s journey,
and all its ups and downs
I’m so glad I found . . .
the Way to get around.
For the road I was on,
was full of so much strife
until Jesus showed me
the Truth to eternal life.
Through life’s many trials,
constant failures and tests . . .
I’m so thankful the Light
lead me to find God’s rest!
And Jesus said unto her,
Neither do I condemn thee:
What Will We Do ~
Another year is upon us,
what with it will we do . . .
how are we going to let
the love of Jesus through?
How are we going to be,
the salt and the light
how are we going to win
this good and faithful fight?
How will we show the Way,
to the Life everlasting
how will we act when others
stones at us our casting?
How are we going to live,
in a world full of evil
how will we break through
the chains of the devil?
Another year is upon us,
what with it will we do . . .
Lord, how can we bring hope
if we don’t have any too!
Just The Cross ~
Give me just the cross,
and I’ll have all I need
for at the foot of it . . .
from my sins I was freed.
Nothing else matters,
just my dying Savior
for no other love
is there greater.
Give me just Jesus,
the blood of Calvary
let me keep focused
on His eternal victory.
When I look in my eyes,
all I want to see . . .
is Christ and the cross
looking back at me.
Give me just the cross,
Jesus and the blood
for that is how much . . .
I know I’m truly loved!
Sisters And Brothers ~
Sisters and brothers,
by God created
through Jesus . . .
now all blood related.
One big family,
by God’s adoption
now are His children
saved from corruption.
Sisters and brothers,
heirs of a King
declared now as
His own offspring.
A sibling reunion,
to take place
all because . . .
of faith and grace.
Sisters and brothers,
all thanks to Jesus
created by God . . .
and His love for us!
~~~~~~~~

John 1:12-13

But as many as received him,
to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, even to them
that believe on his name:

Which were born, not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh,
nor of the will of man, but of God.

of the flesh, these are not the children
of God: but the children of the promise
are counted for the seed.

Harden Your Heart Not ~

Harden not your heart,
to your spiritual condition
let it not turn cold
by your selfish ambition.

Let it not turn callous,
like the rebellious one
let it not become distant
by a grumbling tongue.

Harden not your heart,
to the Spirit’s leading
let it not turn frigid
by the sins you’re keeping.

Let it not become rigid,
by carelessly drifting
let it not be stubborn
by the life you’re living.

Harden not your heart,
by disbelief or doubt
let it not turn icy
by shutting God’s Word out.

Let it not turn you away,
from the hope of eternal peace
let it not turn to stone . . .
lest your faith in God may cease!

From The Get-Go ~

From the beginning,
God loved His creation
it brought to His heart
pure joy and elation.

But, then one evil day,
satan into it entered in
introducing to man
temptation and sin.

From the get-go,
man always had a choice
to walk with God
or listen to satan’s voice.

But man chose to follow,
the ways of the devil
bringing grief to God’s heart
on every single level.

From the beginning,
God knew the mind of man
so He gave His only Son . . .
to fulfill salvation’s plan!

~~~~~~
Genesis 3:2-4
And the woman said unto the serpent,
We may eat of the fruit of the trees
of the garden:
But of the fruit of the tree which is
in the midst of the garden,
God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it,
neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
And the serpent said unto the woman,
Ye shall not surely die:
A Callous Heart ~
A callus heart,
edges are rough
getting through to it
is more than tough.
But there’s one thing,
that is for sure
God it’s coarseness
can heal and cure.
A callus heart,
is thick and dense
being cynical
is its only defense.
But God can make it,
soft and pliable
so that it can be
for Him viable.
A callus heart,
is crass, coarse and cold
but God can turn it
into a heart of gold!
~~~~~~~~

Ezekiel 36:26

Take the Plunge ~

Go ahead,
dive right in
be washed
from your sin

Take the plunge,
into the waters
that are Living
without borders.

Go ahead,
jump into the Well
save yourself
form the pit of hell.

Take the leap,
into the Spring
life everlasting
to you it’ll bring.

Go ahead,
drink thereof . . .
the Living Waters
of God’s love!

~~~~~
John 4:10-11
Jesus answered and said unto her,
If thou knewest the gift of God,
and who it is that saith to thee,
Give me to drink; thou wouldest
have asked of him, and he would
have given thee living water.
The woman saith unto him,
Sir, thou hast nothing to
draw with, and the well is deep:
from whence then hast thou
that living water?
John 4:14
But whosoever drinketh of the water
that I shall give him shall never
thirst; but the water that I shall
give him shall be in him a well of
water springing up into everlasting life.
Grace Is A Mender ~
Grace is a mender,
of flaws running deep
it is a collector
of the tears we weep.
Grace is a healer,
of vessel’s broken
it is a free gift
God set into motion.
Grace is a liberator,
of evil and oppression
it is a deliver
of earthly transgression.
Grace is a giver,
of eternal redemption
it is a perfecter
of faith and salvation.
Grace is God’s mercy
pity and favor . . .
grace is God’s free gift
of Jesus our Savior!
not of yourselves:
If Today You Hear ~
If today you hear,
God’s beseeching voice
it will cause His people
to cheer and rejoice.
For one more sheep,
in His green pasture
is one more soul
satan can’t capture.
If today you heed,
Jesus’ invitation
you’ll receive the gift
of eternal salvation.
For one more person,
in His flock gleaned
is one more life
from satan redeemed.
If today you pray,
for God your heart to heal
one more rejoicing knee . . .
to Him will bow and kneel!
~~~~~~

Psalm 95:6-7

O come, let us worship
and bow down: let us
kneel before the Lord
our maker.

For he is our God;
and we are the people
of his pasture, and the
sheep of his hand.
To day if ye will
hear his voice,

For Jesus Created ~

Hand molded by God,
for Jesus ~ created
knowing by the world
we would be hated.

Old man to new one,
awarded a rebirth
good works to do
here on the earth.

Guided and led,
by Spirit of knowledge
to His power and might
there is no stoppage.

Bearing good fruit,
full of God’s goodness
tempered with patience
of our faithfulness.

Created by God,
by His own hands . . .
the intricate design
of His eternal plans!

The Beauty of Salvation ~

May the beauty of your salvation,
cause you to be jubilant
may the wonder of it all
make and keep you exuberant.

May the greatness of God’s mercy,
bow your grateful, thankful knees
may the vastness of His love
your whole heart, happily seize.

May the grandeur of your hope,
make you permanently indebted
may the elation that you feel
forever in your soul be embedded.

May the splendor of Jesus’ grace,
always keep you humble and meek
may your gleeful gratitude
be in every word you speak.

May the beauty of your salvation,
bring to you God’s eternal peace
may your delighted exuberance
to Him you jubilantly release!

There’s Good News ~

There’s Good News,
for when days are bad
there is hope . . .
for when you feel sad.

There is light,
for when all seems dim
there is rest  . . .
that comes from Him.

There is grace,
for when needing more
there is trust . . .
when God you implore.

There is strength,
for when you awake
there is new mercy . . .
upon morning’s break.

There is warmth,
for when you feel cold
there is power . . .
to make you bold.

There’s Good News,
for when you are low
there is peace . . .
when God’s love flows!

Mercy and Truth Merges ~

Mercy and truth have merged,
redemption found on the cross
righteousness and peace kissed
God’s justice cleanses the dross.

Truth was raised from the earth,
from death came resurrection
eternal life rose from the grave
bringing to God reconciliation.

Love looked down from above,
forgiveness imparted to each soul
hope shall make way for His steps
so in Him all can be made whole.

For those who are beholden,
to the Life, Truth and the Way
will jubilantly celebrate
with Jesus in heaven one day.

Mercy and truth came together,
righteousness and peace have kissed
all who by grace through faith believe
will have glorious, eternal bliss!

~~~~~~~~~
God Does the Unfeasible ~
God does the impossible,
when He desires, when He wants to
He can do the unfeasible
in the lives of me and you.
He can change the stoniest heart,
turn it into one of flesh
reshape it until with His own
the two of them begin to mesh.
God does the unthinkable,
when He needs, when He deems
He can do the improbable
with His mercy that redeems.
He can take the most blinded,
and give them eyes to believe
the love and grace of His Son
so salvation they’ll receive.
God does the impossible,
when He opts, when He decides
He can do the unachievable
in those who in Him abide!
~~~~~~~

Luke 1:37

For with God
nothing shall be
impossible.

The Righteous Hands Of God ~

God hands are righteous,
mighty and powerful
they’re loving and kind
and oh, so merciful.

His hands laid out,
the earth’s foundation
preparing the way
for eternal salvation.

His hands upholds,
those who are afraid
so they needn’t be
fearful or dismayed.

His hands are strong,
they provide protection
to those who seek
wisdom and direction.

His hands are etched,
with the names of those
who through grace by faith
redemption in Jesus choose.

Out of God’s hands,
no one can be snatched
for onto our souls . . .
His fingers are latched!

~~~~~~
No One But Jesus ~
No one but Jesus,
can save you . . .
no one besides
can you go to.
No one else,
can deliver you . . .
no one other
love is this true.
No one but Jesus,
can offer liberty . . .
no one otherwise
can end your misery.
No one else,
just Jesus alone . . .
no one other
your sin’s can atone.
No, not one,
no god made by man
can save you . . .
only Jesus can!
As I Look Around ~
Lord, as I look all around,
I see all You have made
I see the beauty in the sunrise
and the splendor when it fades.
I see the majestic mountain peaks,
and the hills brilliant, amber tops
I see the stars sparkle ever brightly
in a sky that never seems to stop.
Lord, when I look all around,
I see all the things You have done
I see how much I am blessed
by the love and grace of Your Son.
I see Your mercy dispersed,
when a Savior was given
to a world so full of sin
so all could be forgiven.
Lord, when I look all around,
I see Your glorious splendor
and I pray more souls to You . . .
their heart’s will surrender!
His Radiant Grace ~
When Jesus you invite,
into your life . . .
you’ll no longer be filled
with worldly strife.
For His love will fill,
the cold, stony place
that once was your heart
with His radiant grace.
When you decide,
Jesus to follow . . .
you’ll no longer feel
empty and hollow.
For His love will flow,
into the recesses
of a heart once filled
with worldly excesses.
When you accept Jesus,
as the Life of your soul
satan will no longer . . .
over you have control!
We Are All Sinners ~
We’re all sinners,
each and every one
we all need the grace
of Christ Jesus, the Son.
We’re all fallen,
we all come up short
we all need the love
of Jesus in our heart.
We’re all evil,
filled with wickedness
we all need Jesus
to heal our sickness.
We’re all rebellious,
we all have gone astray
we all need the Life
the Truth and the Way.
We’re all sinners,
and the biggest one is me
but, from satan’s  hold
Jesus has set me free!
Salvation’s Healing Balm ~
He takes the broken strings,
wrapped around our heart
binds them with His love
and offers us a new start.
He knows our inward pain,
He sees our troubled mind
and gives the repented one
a new life in Him to find.
He takes our dishonor,
the sum of our disgrace
and wraps around our souls
the arms of His loving grace.
He offers consolation,
remembers our sins no more
heals us from our carnal wounds
then opens up pardon’s door.
He reconciles us to Him,
fills our stony hearts with calm
He soothes our shamefulness
with salvation’s healing balm!
“He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.”
God Changes Us ~
God changes us,
from the inside out
dispels the fear
alleviates the doubt.
He gives a new heart,
full of hope and trust
so His very own Spirit
He can put into us.
God changes us,
from the outside in
till we no longer
 desire to commit sin.
He gives us faith,
in grace and grace alone
so we may trust Jesus
our sins will atone.
God changes us,
so He can abide
in the new Spirit ….
we now have inside!
~~~~~~~~~

Ezekiel 11:19

And I will give them one heart,
and I will put a new spirit within you;
and I will take the stony heart
out of their flesh, and will give them
an heart of flesh:

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man
should boast.

Called To Freedom ~

Called to freedom,
not worldly bondage
called to understanding
wisdom and knowledge.

Called to liberation,
not worldly dependence
called into holy living
moral transcendence.

Called to empowerment,
not worldly subjection
called to be the Light
of Jesus’ reflection.

Called to separation,
not worldly servitude
called to be discerning
with minds daily renewed.

Called to freedom,
not worldly conformation
called into a new life
a holy transformation!

~~~~~~~
Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in
the liberty wherewith Christ
hath made us free,
and be not entangled again
with the yoke of bondage.
Romans 12:1-2
“I beseech you therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God, that ye
present your bodies a living
sacrifice, holy, acceptable
unto God, which is your
reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that
ye may prove what is that good,
and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God.”
Order In The House ~
If we are to have,
order in the house
our understanding
we need to rouse.
For we need to build,
upon Godly wisdom
keeping heaven
right within our vision.
Then our homes,
will be full of pleasure
as we come to realize
our eternal treasure.
If we are to have,
our house in order
each room needs to be
without a border.
For when our walls,
come tumbling down
inside our hearts
our Savior is found!
and by understanding it is established:”
God’s Not Winking ~
God is no longer,
winking at man
for judgment day
soon is at hand.
He wants all of us,
to be idolatry free
so with Him in heaven
we can eternally be.
God is no longer,
looking the other way
He wants everyone
to turn to Him today.
He wants mankind,
to confess their sin
so more unsaved souls
Jesus can win.
God is no longer,
at man winking an eye
He’s now looking for . . .
the heart repentant cry!
~~~~~~~~~

Acts 17:30

“And the times of this
ignorance God winked at;
but now commandeth all
men every where to repent:”

Wanderer’s Wandering ~

Wanderer’s wandering,
roaming around
looking and searching
for what can’t be found.

Rootless and fruitless,
wanderers they are
faithless and godless
in their travels afar.

Roving and drifting,
wanderers they be
smug and ungrateful
from righteousness flee.

Nomadic problematic,
wanderers go off
leaving and parting
as God they scoff.

Wanderer’s wandering,
God wants you home
He wants your steps
to no longer roam.

Return returners,
Oh, thou to Me
come back and revisit
My love for thee.

Arrive and survive,
Oh, thou My roving rover
I will forgive your heart
a thousand times over!

~~~~~~~
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their
wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin, and will
heal their land.
My Life Is God’s ~
My life is God’s,
to Him it belongs
His plans for me
I gladly go along.
In Him I live,
He moves my soul
to believe He is . . .
the One in control.
My life is God’s,
and not my own
only for how long
by Him is known.
In Him I exist,
my breath is His
for I’m convinced
it’s the way it is.
My life is God’s,
my being springs
from Him who created
all living things!
~~~~~~~~~

Acts 17:28

“For in him we live,
and move, and have our being;
as certain also of your
own poets have said,
For we are also his offspring.”

Salvation Isn’t For Sale ~

You can’t buy your way into heaven,
salvation is not for sale . . .
on your own merit you can’t get there
if you try you’ll only fail.

You can’t shop around for grace,
it’s a free gift God gave to all
you can’t pay for His mercy
you need to heed salvation’s call.

You can’t finance deliverance,
it’s only there if you repent
you can’t fund spiritual healing
you must God’s mercy instead except.

You can’t pick up the tab to heaven,
Jesus already paid the price . . .
you must believe His life for you
He willingly had to sacrifice!

~~~~~~~~~
Matthew 19:24
“And again I say unto you, It is easier for a
camel to go through the eye of a needle,
than for a rich man
to enter into the kingdom of God.”
The Most Beautiful Love Song ~
There is a love song,
more beautiful than any other
lyrics so glorious
you will get lost in all its wonder.
The melody is soothing,
all your fears it will calm
to your soul it will be . . .
just like a healing balm.
It is a song sung,
with joy and gladness
over hearts awakening
from spiritual blindness.
The tune is gentle,
the rhythm is easy . . .
the message is offered
to everyone freely.
There is a joyous love song,
Jesus sings from above . .
whenever someone accepts
His life-saving love!
~~~~~~~~~~~

Zephaniah 3:17

“The Lord thy God in the midst
of thee is mighty; he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing.”

all ye that labour
and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.”

Life Without Jesus ~

You may have breath,
your heart may beat
but, you don’t have Life
until Jesus you meet.

You may have sight,
your eyes may perceive
but, you don’t have Life
if in God you don’t believe.

You may have reason,
your ears may detect
but, you don’t have Life
if Jesus you reject.

You may have vitality,
your body may go
but, you don’t have Life
until Jesus you know.

You may have breath,
but, you don’t have Life
for without Jesus . . .
there’s only eternal strife!

~~~~~~~~~
1 John 5:11-12
“And this is the record,
that God hath given to
us eternal life, and
this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life;
and he that hath not the Son
of God hath not life.”
We’re All Guilty ~
We all have,
laundry filthy
we all are in
God’s eyes guilty.
We all need,
to be disinfected
and be to God
more subjected.
We all have,
concealed  sin
we all know
the evil within.
We all need,
to come clean
so God’s glory
we can glean.
We all have,
wicked thoughts
we all have into
satan’s lies bought.
We all need,
to scour our mind
so God’s Mercy
we can find.
We all have . . .
fallen short
we all need Jesus
to cleanse our heart!
Jesus Loves You Too ~
Jesus loves me,
I know this to be true
in fact I also know
He loves you too.
For in His Word,
He tells us why
how for our salvation
He was willing to die.
Jesus loves me,
I have no doubt
for in my life
I didn’t shut Him out.
I heard Him knock,
He came right in
forgave me at once
for all of my sin.
Jesus loves me,
He loves you too
so much that He gave
His life for you!
~~~~~~

that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should
not perish, but have
everlasting life.”

A New Creation Awaits ~

When you ask Jesus
into your heart
deliverance from sin
will spontaneously start.

When for your trespasses,
you ask Jesus to atone
living a sinful life
you’ll no longer condone.

When you ask Jesus,
to pardon your sin
regeneration
will promptly begin.

When for your sins,
you ask Jesus to forgive
your former way of life
you will not want to relive.

When you ask Jesus,
into your heart . . .
a new creation awaits
right from the start!

he is a new creature: old things
are passed away; behold,
all things are become new.”

Cracked ~

God gave me this body,
and at first it was intact
but as it grew older
I saw it began to crack.

Once the cracks started,
they could not be stopped
for the more I sinned . . .
out more of them popped.

The cracks started to chip,
piece by piece they fell
and the more I tried to hide them
the more in sin I would dwell.

As they started to fall off,
I began to see the real me
and the more that I sinned
the more damage I could see.

And so I called upon God,
and His awesome power
to fill me with His mercy
so my sins He could scour.

God gave me this body,
to be used as His vessel
and now with His strength
with sin I no longer wrestle.

“But we have this treasure
in jars of clay, to show that
the surpassing power
belongs to God and not to us”

We All Need A Savior ~

We all need the blood,
to wash away our sin
we all need cleansing
from the grime within.

We all need forgiveness,
for the evil we’ve done
we all need the grace
of God’s begotten Son.

We all need to confess,
Jesus is our Savior
we all need to believe
He’s the gift of God’s favor.

We all need a heart,
trusting and believing
we all need a peace
eternal and unending.

We all need salvation,
if God were going to see
we all need Jesus . . .
to set our souls free!

~~~~~~~~~~
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Guilty Sinners ~
Guilty sinners,
deserving disgrace
instead are saved
by Jesus’ grace.
Worthy of hell,
its perishing heat
instead their Savior
in heaven will meet.
Guilty sinners,
not meriting favor
instead eternity
they will savor.
Worthy of humiliation,
for their sin
instead the crown of life
they will win.
Guilty sinners,
saved by Jesus’ grace
for He was cursed
in their place!
“For all have sinned,
and come short of
the glory of God;”
God’s Hand Is Not To Short ~
The hand of God,
is not too short
His plans no man
can ever thwart.
They are powerful,
they are strong
they can make right
all that is wrong.
The hand of God,
can pluck and save
those who are to sin
its worldly slave.
They are freeing,
they are liberating
they can bring change
that is life-saving.
The hand of God,
reaches wide and far
He can touch you
right where you are!
that it cannot save;”
No One Is Perfect ~
No one is perfect,
all have flaws
all need to obey
God’s ten laws.
All have sinned,
no one is undefiled
all need to be
by Jesus justified.
All have erred,
no one is pure
all need Jesus
their heart to cure.
All have wandered,
no one is yielding
all need Jesus
His Spirit’s sealing.
No one is perfect,
all have missed the mark
all would be without Jesus
left out in the dark!
Needy People ~
Needy people,
are all around
not too hard
to be found.
Needing saving,
from addiction
needing Jesus
not rejection.
Needy people,
are everywhere
burdened down
by desperate care.
Needing hope,
from destitution
needing Jesus
not persecution.
Needy people,
needing God’s favor
the love and grace
of a risen Savior!
~~~~~~

Drawn ~

Drawn by God’s power,
into the Light
drawn to Jesus
by His holy might.

Drawn to the cross,
to the Life and Way
drawn by the mercy
He showed that day.

Drawn by faith,
to be forgiven
drawn by grace
to a Savior risen.

Drawn to Christ,
to be forever joyful
drawn by God’s favor
to be always hopeful.

Drawn by my Father,
to His Son . . .
drawn to become
with Him one!

Washed In The Blood ~

Jesus’ blood,
washed over me
now His love
has set me free.

Free from quilt,
free from blame
for, upon Himself
He took my shame.

Jesus’ blood,
flooded over me
flushing out sin’s
grit and debris.

At not a cost,
His grace I attained
now through faith
I’m no longer sin-stained.

Jesus’s blood,
washed over me
giving me a life . . .
now sin free!

~~~~~~~~
Revelation 1:5-6
“And from Jesus Christ,
who is the faithful witness,
and the first begotten
of the dead, and the prince
of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us,
and washed us from our
sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings
and priests unto God
and his Father;
to him be glory
and dominion
for ever and ever.”
Amen.
God’s Reach ~
There is not a life,
that God can’t save
there’s nothing done
that to Him is so grave.
There is not an eye,
that God can’t open
there’s none so blind
that He can’t put hope in.
There is not an ear,
that God can’t unseal
there’s none so deaf
that He can’t heal.
There is not a heart,
that God can’t affect
there’s none so cold
that He can’t connect.
There is not a soul,
that God’s can’t reach
there’s not a life . . .
that He can’t teach!
that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy
that it cannot hear:”
A New Heart ~
A new heart,
is made of flesh
with Jesus’ own
it now does mesh.
It is confident,
its been forgiven
by faith its made
this decision.
A new spirit,
is one at rest
it’s one where grace
has truly blessed.
It’s filled with hope,
joy and elation
it knows Jesus
is its salvation.
A new heart and spirit,
God wants to give
so into our soul . . .
He can come and live!
~~~~~~

Ezekiel 36:26

“A new heart also will I give you,
and a new spirit will I put
within you: and I will take
away the stony heart out of
your flesh, and I will give
you an heart of flesh.

Unrepentant ~

Unrepentant,
hearts not yielding
in sin they still
are abiding.

Unremorseful,
minds unfit
to their lusts
they commit.

Unashamed,
souls not saved
care not how
they behave.

Unabashed,
darkness driven
see no need
to be forgiven.

Unrepentant,
need not be
if they’d only let . . .
Jesus set them free!

life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Unclean Things ~

Unclean things,
evil thrills
follow own
not God’s will.

Need saving,
God’s pity
mercy, grace
& charity.

Unclean things,
scarred and bruised
their own souls
they’ve abused.

Lust and greed,
earthy pride
rags of filth
they can’t hide.

Like a leaf,
blown away
from the Truth
they still stray.

Unclean things,
made snow-white
if they could only
see the Light!

~~~~
Isaiah 64:6
“But we are all as an unclean thing,
and all our righteousnesses are as
filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf;
and our iniquities, like the wind,
have taken us away.”
