Mountain Moving ~

God gave me this mountain,
and told me to believe . . .
His strength and might
from Him I would receive.

So, I gathered up my faith,
though I admit it was small
compared to this mountain
that seemed seven-miles tall.

I looked at the obstacles,
I knew were in my way
and then I paraphrased
what Jesus had to say . . .

If you do not doubt,
you can save a lot of time
and pick that mountain up
instead of making the climb.

So, I mustered up the power,
that Jesus left for me . . .
picked that mountain up
and now I’m burden free!

Matthew 17:20

“And Jesus said unto them,
Because of your unbelief:
for verily I say unto you,
If ye have faith as a
grain of mustard seed,
ye shall say unto this mountain,
Remove hence to yonder place;
and it shall remove;
and nothing shall be
impossible unto you.”

It’s Up to Me ~

It's Up to Me ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

God’s given me faith,
that’s mountain moveable
and it’s up to me . . .
to use all available.

He’s given me power,
that is incredible
and it’s up to me . . .
to do the impossible.

He’s given me strength,
that is invisible
and it’s up to me . . .
to believe in miracles.

He’s given me trust,
that is  inconceivable
and it’s up to me . .
to do the unbelievable.

God’s given me faith,
that’s mountain moveable
so that I would believe. . .
with Him all is doable!

What’s Your Mountain ~

What's Your Mountain ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~ Photo Creation Swap

Mountains seem to come,
in all forms and sizes
some are tall and steep
some have narrow rises.

Some are rough and tough,
some have a gentle slope
but, no matter the terrain
we must not lose our hope.

Some are humongous,
some are molehill small
some we can climb over
some from we often fall.

Some are smooth and level,
some are slick and slippery
but, one thing that is sure
we all want to have victory.

No matter what the size,
or shape your mountain is . . .
if you give it to Jesus
He will gladly make it His!

Matthew 21:21

“Jesus answered and said unto them,
Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith,
and doubt not, ye shall not only do this
which is done to the fig tree, but also
if ye shall say unto this mountain,
Be thou removed, and be thou cast into
the sea; it shall be done.”

Mountain Moving Faith ~

CHRISTIan poetry by deborah ann ~ Mountain Moving Faith ~ photo Creation Swap

Lord, I got me this mountain,
I need for You to remove
I’ve got me this situation
only You can improve.

I got me this problem,
by myself I can’t resolve
I’ve got me this crisis
only You can absolve.

Lord, I got me this burden,
I don’t like my condition
I feel as if my trust in You
is suffering from malnutrition.

I got me this predicament,
alone I can’t figure out
I got me this dilemma
filling me with fear and doubt.

Lord, I got me this mountain,
it needs to be removed
but, I know it is my faith . . .
that needs to be improved!

Our Mountain Mover ~

Mountain BanffRon by Ron Manke free photo #5744

We all have mountains,
needing to be moved
we all have conditions
needing to be improved.

We all have worries,
problems and anxieties
we all have situations
all sorts of difficulties.

We all have mountains,
only faith can move
we all have some doubt
only prayer can remove.

We all have mounds,
of bills, ills and  woes
we all have pain flowing
from our heads to our toes.

We all need to look to God,
as our mountain mover . . .
for on our own we’ll only find
they’re impossible to maneuver!

God Moves Mountains ~

~ CHRISTian poetry by deborahann ~ Photo by Ron Manke Creation Swap

You can move that mountain,
you can scale that obstacle
you can get over that barrier . . .
for with God, all things are possible.

You’ll need to have plenty of faith,
on your own, you will only quit . . .
you have to believe that it is God
who will get you up and over it.

There can be no doubting,
no thinking, this can’t be done
God will give you His strength
through, Jesus Christ, His Son.

You will need to keep on praying,
if His power, you want to receive
asking God for all of His might . . .
then you have to trust and believe.

God’s good at moving mountains,
He’s moved plenty of them before
and now He wants to give you . . .
the strength and power to move yours!

Mark 11:22-24

“And Jesus answering
saith unto them,
Have faith in God.

For verily I say unto you,
That whosoever
shall say unto this mountain,

Be thou removed,
and be thou cast into the sea;
and shall not doubt in

his heart, but shall believe
that those things which
he saith shall

come to pass;
he shall have
whatsoever he saith.

Therefore I say unto you,
What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray,

believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them.”

A Spiritual Hill ~

Mountain BanffRon by Ron Manke free photo #5744

A spiritual hill,
a climb too high
I’m in a funk
I don’t know why.

God, isn’t listening,
to me – I fear
maybe if I scream
then He will hear.

Things are so hectic,
nothing makes sense
I feel like I’m slipping
everything’s so intense.

I must be in the dumps,
I am so low and down
no wonder I feel
that He isn’t around.

I wish it weren’t so,
I know better than this
but maybe He’s silent . . .
so His blessings I won’t miss!

Psalm 143:7
King James Version

“Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth:
hide not thy face from me,
lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.”

You Can Climb Your Mountain ~

Mountain BanffRon by Ron Manke free photo #5744

I’ve climbed that mountain,
I’ve been to the top
I saw the valley below
I saw how far the drop.

I made it anyway,
I was able to overcome
all the obstacles before me
I was able to overrun.

I didn’t do it alone,
God was with me all the way
He gave me  the power
for which I praise Him today.

You can climb your mountain,
you too can reach the peak
just take Jesus with you
so to be strong and not weak!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2 Corinthians 12:10
King James Version
“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities,
in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions,
in distresses for Christ’s sake:
for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
A Place Called Hard ~
A Place Called Hard ~  CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
Lord, I have me a mountain,
I need You to remove
I have me a situation
only You can improve.
I got me a dilemma,
that needs to be resolved
I have me a problem
I need You to be involved.
Lord, I have me a river,
it’s as wide as it is deep
I have me a complication
that I don’t want to keep.
 I have a clear view,
of the storm that’s ahead
I have me an idea
it’s going to be widespread.
Lord, I’m between a rock,
and a place called hard
I am going to need You
to be my safeguard!
~~~~~~~~

Proverbs 3:5-6
King James Version

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.”
