Strength Everlasting ~
Everlasting strength,
the Lord gives to us
when it is in Him . . .
that we put our trust.
Strength to be courageous,
to be bold and dauntless
strength that will make us
in all things fearless.
Strength that never gives up,
nor never gives in
to the demands of evil
or the temptation of sin.
Strength for the unlikely,
the hard and impossible
strength to do the things
once unimaginable.
Strength everlasting,
is given to those who trust
a promise from the Lord . . .
to everyone of us!

A Soul Conquering~
It takes courage,
a spirit willing to go the length
it takes confidence
letting God supply the strength.
It takes commitment,
a determination to do God’s will
it takes patience
a willingness to wait and be still.
It takes persistence,
a resolve to keep pressing on
it takes diligence
for the faithful race to be won.
It takes perseverance,
a heart willing to go the distance
it takes a dedicated mind
able to handle the resistance.
It takes focus,
eyes always kept on the goal
it takes Jesus . . .
to have a conquering soul!

the mark
for the prize of the high
calling of God
in Christ Jesus.

God Of My Yesterdays ~
God of my yesterdays,
all the days of my youth
I thank You for blessing me . . .
with hope, trust and truth.
Though at times I’ve stumbled,
on the straight, narrow way
I thank You for giving me . . .
the courage, on it to stay.
God of my today,
the rest of my tomorrows
I thank You for taking from me. . .
the weight of my sorrows.
Though the road has been long,
and at times menacing
I thank You for always . . .
my faith strengthening.
God of my yesterdays,
today and tomorrows too
may I remain as faithful . . .

Wait For It ~
God is not asking you,
to go figure things out
He’s asking you to wait . . .
without having any doubt.
For He already has,
an answer to your prayer
now He wants you to be
to His directions aware.
God is not saying to you,
to run off and go and fix it
He’s telling you to be still . . .
so you can hear His Spirit.
When He’s ready Your answer,
He will stamp on it the date
now He’s asking you to have
the courage to sit and wait
God is not asking you,
to rush off and go do
He’s saying wait for it . . .
till He shows you how to!

be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen

God, My Patience ~
God, my Patience,
my Stamina, My Fortitude
my heart for You . . .
is filled with deep gratitude.
For Your mercy gives me,
the willpower to run
each day the faithful race
so that it can be won.
God, My Endurance,
my Strength, my Tenacity
Your power gives me
resilience and vitality.
For You bring into my life,
the faith to trust in You
regardless of the situations
You may have me go through.
God, my Patience,
my Calm, my Perseverance
may You find me faithful . . .
upon Your reappearance!

God Is Still Able ~
When life gets hard,
and the road gets rough
when all that lies ahead
seems difficult and tough.
Remember God is still able,
to turn things around . . .
so keep on trusting Him
to avoid a breakdown.
When all that you see,
is hardship and adversity
when all that you feel
is the fear of uncertainty.
Remember with God,
nothing is too troubling
just keep on believing Him
so to keep from unraveling.
When life gets tough,
when the road seems long
remember God will give you . . .
the faith to make you strong!

Active Participation ~
I know that mountains high,
I know it looks impossible
but, I also know with God
all things are possible.
I know that rivers deep,
I know it looks menacing
but, I also know for God
it’ll be worth my crossing.
I know that valleys low,
I know all its ups and downs
but, I also know with God
the obstacles I’ll get around.
I know that oceans wide,
I know its undercurrent
but, I also know with God
it needn’t be a deterrent.
I know that faith takes,
a lot of determination . . .
for, I know to trust in God
takes active participation!

Faith Walking ~
Today, I’m taking a journey,
don’t know where it’ll lead
but, I know God will supply
the directions that I’ll need.
He will give me courage,
to get down the road
and if I get too weary
He’ll help me with the load.
Today, I’m faith walking,
not sure of the way
but, I know God will provide
guidance for the day.
He will give me strength,
if roadblocks I come across
by helping me to keep
my eyes on the cross.
Today, I stepping out in faith,
I’m going into the unknown
believing and trusting God . . .
the truth and way will be shown!

This Battle is God’s ~
I’m claiming victory,
I know just who is in charge
and I believe God’s methods
are the best ones to discharge.
For this battle is not mine,
it belongs to God alone
and I truly get that . . .
His ways are not my own.
I have learned to be still,
to wait and to be quiet
and most importantly
I have learned not to quit.
For I am God’s soldier,
He’s enlisted me to fight
and in His strength I’ll win
by the power of His might.
I’m claiming my victory,
way ahead of time . . .
for I know this mountain
God will help me to climb!

The Reason for My Hope
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it's God's image
He puts into all of us.I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
has always been cold and callous
