Waiting Till God Answers ~
When not sure of what to do,
and God hasn’t answered you
when you’re feeling down and out
and you’re full of fear and doubt.
That’s the time you need to look,
for His promises in the Good Book
you’ll find the remedy for your needs
when to His Word your spirit heeds.
When you’re troubles take over you,
and worry surrounds all you do
when you’re down and feeling sad
and your anxieties mount and add.
That’s the time you need to pray,
asking the Lord to lead the way
He will show you where to go
and His directions you will know.
When you need answered prayer,
be still as you wait to hear
for God promises with His eye
to make for you the way clear!

Wisely Walking ~
Father I thank You,
today for Your grace
and the wisdom I need
to wisely run the race.
For, I know of the evil,
I will witness today
and to walk cautiously
must be my mainstay.

On My ROCKing Chair ~
On my ROCKing chair,
I’m sitting peacefully
rocking to and fro
oh, so ever calmly.
Though, I have worries,
I haven’t me a care
for while I am rocking
God listens to my prayer.
On my ROCKing chair,
I’m sitting comfortably
rocking back and forth
oh, so ever enjoyably.
Though, I have troubles,
I’m rocking all the same
for I’m so confident
as I call upon His name.
On my ROCKing chair,
I’m sitting quietly
rocking up and down
oh, so ever serenely.
Though, I have problems,
I’m gonna keep rocking
for God’s got me an answer
and soon He’ll be talking.
On my ROCKing chair,
I’m trusting and believing
for I know His response . . .
soon I’ll be receiving!

All Things Are Possible With God ~
All things are possible,
when in God you trust
all things are feasible
when you see He is just.
All things have meaning,
when in God you believe
all things have a purpose
when His mercy you receive.
All things are a blessing,
when God you obey
all things come together
when to Him you pray.
All things are achievable,
when in God you rely
all things are workable
when faith you apply.
All things are attainable,
when God is your hope
all things are brighter
when He helps you to cope.
All things work together,
when your life to Jesus you give
all things are beautiful . . .
when He’s the reason you live!

When waiting on the Lord,
to answer your prayer . . .
don’t become discouraged
instead rest in His care.
When seeking His response,
for your wants and needs
don’t become depressed
be at peace til He leads.
When God is quiet,
but you heart isn’t so
don’t become worried
instead let His mercy flow.
When looking for a word,
to help show the way
don’t become disheartened
but, let joy fill your day.
When waiting on the Lord,
be still until . . . .
He shows to you
what is His perfect will!

Prayer heals all our wounds,
releases the hurt inside
prayer brings peace . . .
when to God we confide.
Prayer heals all heartache,
mends the brokenness
prayer restores and renews
it brings back wholeness.
Prayer heals all anguish,
releases despair and grief
prayer brings restoration
grants our soul sweet relief.
Prayer heals all suffering,
lifts the pain we feel
prayer removes the misery
when to God we appeal.

Just Pick Up Your Bible ~
When you’re feeling down,
and you need a lift
just pick up your Bible
and give yourself a gift.
For inside you’ll find,
God’s promises galore
for you to find and claim
when His Word you explore.
When you’re feeling anxious,
remember this one thing
since God is on our side
what good will worry bring.
For He is our God of peace,
who showers us from above
the gentleness of His mercy
in the tenderness of His love.
When you’re feeling discouraged,
and deep waters begin to flow
cast your cares upon Him
then watch His blessings grow.
For He is your Rock and Anchor,
He will never let you down
He will turn those deep rivers
into dry and solid ground.
All the assurance you need,
is written in the Good Book
but you’ll have to pick it up
and take for yourself a look!

Build A Bridge of Hope ~
Build a bridge of truth and hope,
repair the broken span . . .
restore and renew someone’s life
to the Son of Man.
Build the bridge with mercy,
help them to see God’s will
bring back a wandering soul
to the One who longs to heal.
Build the bridge with grace,
let them see what love is about
show them the way to their Savior
guide them through their doubt.
Build the bridge with glee and joy,
let them see your delight
lead them through the darkness
into His eternal light.
Build a bridge of salvation,
to the Cross that sets them free
tell them why Jesus had to die
for them that day at Calvary!

Intercessory Prayer ~
Intercessory prayers,
where would we be without them
for there’s healing and hope
in each beseeching gem.
Petitioning God,
holding others up in prayer
praying with thanksgiving
God to take away the despair.
Pleading hearts,
asking for God’s speed
to come to His saints aid
to help with their need.
Imploring souls,
requisitions for sickness
entreating Jesus to heal
by His stripes their illness.
Begging minds,
requesting mercy’s relief
for the deeply distraught
those sickened by grief.
Intercessory prayers,
even when we can’t speak
His Spirit intercedes . . .
when we’re too weary or weak!

Stress Test ~
Today God gave me,
a spiritual stress test
to see if my soul . . .
could remain at rest.
So He sent to me,
a hand-wringing situation
to see if my heart . . .
could handle the agitation.
He wanted to know,
how I would proceed
whether if to the strain
I’d win or would concede.
It took all of His strength,
for me not to succumb
for I knew I could trust Him
with the power to overcome.
Today God sent to me,
a test that was stressing
but I’m happy to say . . .
I’m patiently resting!

God Is Relentless ~
God is relentless,
in His steady seeking
to find the souls . . .
who salvation are needing.
For it’s His desire,
not one should perish
every life to Him . . .
is one to cherish.
God is on a quest,
looking all about
to find more hearts . .
He can rid of doubt.
For it’s His concern,
to bring lost sheep back
His patience for them . .
won’t ease up or slack.
God is relentless,
He’s fiercely unrelenting
looking for anyone . . .
confessing and repenting!

just about anything.
For I do not know,
what may come my way
tis why each morning
to God I bow and pray.

outcome He might send
but, I am braced for . . .
what’s around the bend.
For I trust and believe,
irrespective of . . .
whatever God decides
is out of His love.
I hope for the best,
the greatest day there is
but, I am ready for . . .
anything because I’m His!

Oh, To Hear His Voice ~
Oh, to hear His voice in clarity,
confusion to come to cease
to rid our life of all anxiety
with the infusion of His peace.
To know His voice of wisdom,
all foolishness put to an end
to listen for His instructions
on life’s every path and bend.
To know His voice of counsel,
all bad advice to be banished
to oust the voice of darkness
until wickedness has vanished.
To know His voice of rest,
all fear brought to its knees
to drive out the enemy
and watch him as he flees.
To know His voice of truth,
all deception put to bed
to cast out satan’s trickery
so we can be Spirit lead.
Oh, to hear His voice in clarity,
is our Shepherd’s prayer
to rid our lives of anxiety . . .
so to find rest in His care!

God Will Guide You ~
God will guide you,
He will lead the way
but you will need to stop
and first to Him pray.
God will direct you
before you He will go
but you will need to ask
the way you should go.
God will steer you,
your steps He will direct
but you will need to on
His Word first reflect.
God will advise you,
which path you should take
but you will need to seek
which one to make.
God will guide you,
He will lead and steer
but you will need to pray
until the path is clear!

Relying On God ~
Make relying on God,
a part of your day . . .
before you set out
for His strength pray.
For you’re going to need,
His mighty power
just knowing that satan
is out to devour.
Make God your refuge,
throughout your day
ask Him to guide you
as you make your way.
For you’re going to want,
on Him to depend
when for your beliefs
you have to defend.
Make relying on God,
a daily choice . . .
then count on Him
to give you a voice!

Intercessory prayers,
we all need to make
for we never know . . .
the bonds we might break.
For there’s plenty of people,
who are tied up in chains
and we should be praying
for their sorrows and pains.

whose trust needs saving.
For there’s plenty of saints,
who are besieged by troubles
and we need to be praying
they give God their struggles.

as for others we beseech . . .

The happy CHRISTian,
reads the Scriptures
the grace of Jesus
their mind pictures.
They find their pleasure,
not in worldly things
but in the peace and joy
His salvation brings.

find in it no delight
the Word they meditate
both the day and night.
They are like a tree,
that is rooted well
for inside their soul
the Holy Spirit dwells.
The happy CHRISTian,
pursues the right way
that is why they read . . .

I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
