Confused And Dazed ~

Lord, this world today,
has me so confused . . .
and by what is going on
I’m not at all amused.

For, the path that is wide,
is so overpopulated
and to its evil ways . . .
I refuse to be obligated.

Lord, this world today,
has me feeling really dazed
for it doesn’t want me
by its apostasy being phased.

For, it tries to convince me,
I am the one who is wrong
because I live a life
that is in You, Bible strong.

It’s Time to Wake Up ~

The alarm has been set,
the hour is drawing near
and in these perilous days
the wake-up call is clear.

The signs are all around,
just as we’ve been told
lovers of their own selves
are getting more bold.

Just take a look around,
and tell me what you see
haters of good and God
you can no longer flee.

You can see the proud,
up and down our streets
parading in defiance
on their self-serving feet.

Children are being taught,
to choose a new gender
destroying young lives
God considers tender.

Standing on our corners,
you’ll find those begging
for you to support
their ungodly way of living.

It time to wake up,
and hear the warning bell . . .
or else life here on earth

The Harvest Is Nearly Here ~

The seed has been planted,
for each nation to hear
the fields are now ready
harvest time is nearly here.

The season is turning ripe,
the time is drawing close
soon our Savior will come
but the hour no one knows.

The Word has gone out,
the desert rose is a bloom
in God’s heavenly mansion
there’s still plenty of room.

The showers have increased,
the outpouring is on the rise
the day Jesus comes will be
like a twinkling in our eyes.

The soil has been prepared,
the sacrifice has been made
time is running out
for lost souls to be swayed.

The message of hope continues,
it will to the very end . . .
still we don’t how much longer
the time God plans to extend!

Today I’m redeeming,

God gave us His commands,

but, that is not what’s taught
in some pulpits today.

Instead we’re being told,
the laws God once gave
can be changed to fit
however we want to behave.

They promote transgression,
in the name of tolerance
skewing the Words of Jesus
to suit their preference.

As the love for self grows,
so does our earthly desires
so they tell us we no longer
need to do what God requires.

God gave us His commands,
they’re written in the Good Book
but, so many for themselves
haven’t even taken a look!

We are living in,
the age of rejection
a time where we see
from God a defection.

It’s an era of change,
a time of redirection
from the Truth and Way
we’ve lost the connection.

is being offered today
with no talk about sin
or spiritual decay.

No need for repentance,
heaven everyone will reap
making the death of Jesus
look cut-rate and cheap.

Bargain basement prices,
tolerance is the big sell
with a shoddy guarantee
no one will end up in hell.

Eternal life to one and all,
no matter your life-path . . .
all you have to do is “love”
so not to face God’s wrath.

From the beginning of time,
sin has played its part . . .
in severing any fellowship
with God from man’s heart.

Once a walk in the garden,
turned into a stroll down sin’s path
it was bound to lead mankind

Man’s love for knowledge,
to increase his superiority
took away from God . . .

Once man became his own god,

Lord, today I’m in need,

at times it’s hard to be gracious.

the fortitude to withstand

Feel Good Religion ~

I love the feel good religion,
like the one you hear today
I like knowing God loves me
no matter what I do or say.

I like giggling and laughing,
as the pastor jokes around
I like all the modern music
with that big band sound.

I like the laid back attitude,
the easygoing, off beat tempo
I love that the mega building
is progressive and contempo.

I like the main message,
about being richly blessed
I like the fact that my sins
I no longer have to confess.

I like not having to repent,
or change my ways or views
I like I’m not told anymore
what to God, is or isn’t taboo.

I love the feel good religion,
like the one you hear today
but, I love Jesus more . . .
so I think from it, I’ll stay away!

There is a perfect storm,
brewing in the world right now
a coming of the time . . .
where every knee shall bow.

The tempest brings with it,
an assault on humanity
all because of its repulsion
and hatred for Christianity.

There is a perfect fury,
developing in the progress
a coming of the time . . .
when every mouth shall confess.

The terror the world rages,
on those who believe in God

Lord, I’m having a problem

of nothing, but pure hate.

There is a storm,
an incursion to override
life and liberty . . .
till we are all polarized.

There is an attack,
an invasion of our rights
we’ll be left unprotected
with no means in which to fight.

There is a plan,
to take away our freedom
and soon they’ll usher in
an evil One-World kingdom!

Oh, The Things I’ve Seen ~

I have seen morality fade,
the withering of man’s ethics
I have seen Love’s first bloom
be shattered, by the skeptics.

I have seen evil governments,
that are wicked and corrupt
I have seen terrorist bombs
on peaceful streets erupt.

I have seen earthy riches,
make the wealthiest go bust
I have seen the awful pain
due to hearts full of lust.

I have seen Satan destroy,
families with booze and dope
I have seen little children
give up all trust and hope.

I have seen the falling away,
of those who once believed
I have seen to their First Love
they no longer heed or cleave.

I have seen the fruit plummet,
far from the One True Vine
I have seen the Gospel truth
become dull and benign.

But, what I have not seen,
is for God to change His mind
His Word still gives sight . . .
to those who are ~ yet blind!
