I’m Just Passing Through ~

This world is not my home,
I am just passing through
and I am convinced . . .
not to weaken to its view.

Yet, it’s thrust before me,
whether I like it or not
but, I must not concede
to the lies that are taught.

It seems wherever I go,
I find much opposition
but, I refused to be
dragged into submission.

Often I’m called names,
for not giving my approval
so every day my mind
I keep in constant renewal.

The seed has been planted,
for each nation to hear
the fields are now ready
harvest time is nearly here.

soon our Savior will come

in God’s heavenly mansion
there’s still plenty of room.

Evil Everywhere ~

I can see the evil,
I see it everywhere
there is not a place
it will not spare.

It is universal,
throughout the world
a new kind of hatred
is being unfurled.

I can hear the terror,
chilling and disturbing
it’s full of violence
bloody screams curdling.

It’s a perilous scourge,
of dread, anxiety and fear
bringing with it tyranny
the closer it draws near.

In Desperate Need ~

Sinners in desperate need,
of salvation but they won’t heed
instead they follow their own folly
deprived and wicked, yet so jolly.

Sinners in dire straights,
can’t see their own corrupt traits
instead they party and carouse
to all things evil they make their vows.

Sinners on dangerous ground,
don’t want to turn their lives around
instead they play on satan’s turf
as on the waves of sin they surf.

Everyday It Gets Closer ~

Everyday that passes,
we are getting closer
and we need to wake up
all those who are dozers.

For the return of the Lord,
is drawing nearer . . .
with the passing of time
it’s become ever clearer.

Each hour that ticks by,
is just a minute sooner
when Jesus will come back
to be the world’s ruler.

We need to alert those,
who are still sleeping
of the teeth gnashing
in the place of weeping.

The Time Is Getting Short ~

The time is impending,
satan is working overtime
we need to be ready . . .
for Jesus could come anytime.

We need to be aware,
of the ticking of the clock
for the devil’s out prowling
to devour up His flock.

The time is approaching,
each day it’s getting clearer
the awaited return of Christ
is getting so much nearer.

for in a second we may see

The Color Of Things Coming ~

I watch Fall’s colored leaves,
turn from red to golden brown
drifting on the breeze of Autumn
floating idly to the ground.

They lay in all their splendor,
till rake piles them knee-high
for eye to see and foot to crush
before they wither away and die.

Fall reminds me of the colors,
of the things forthcoming . . .
when Jesus with a trump
declares He is returning.

His eyes will see those waiting,
eagerly for His return
while He crushes under foot
those who gave Him no concern.

Today I’m redeeming,
the time God’s allotted
I’ll use it wisely
so evil can be spotted.

I am going to walk,

Age of Rejection ~

We are living in,
the age of rejection
a time where we see
from God a defection.

It’s an era of change,
a time of redirection
from the Truth and Way
we’ve lost the connection.

It’s a movement,
of rebellion and pride

It’s a real revolution,
it is not an illusion
for Satan has control

The Wicked ~

The wicked enter through,
the gate of pride and lust
worldly riches pave the path
for it’s in “things” they do trust.

They walk with the ungodly,
party with the irreligious
depravity sleeps in their beds
their covers are sacrilegious.

The wicked live in the dark,
their lives are full of greed
they look to the immoral law
to fill their wants and needs.

They do not have a future,
they keep evilness in their sight
they’re on a road of no hope
refusing to see the light.

The wicked’s end is miserable,
for eternity they’ll spend in hell
but, they who follow God’s Word
in heaven with Him will  dwell!

they are everywhere
anxieties, hardships, burdens
all kinds of different cares.

Sorrows, sorrows, sorrows . . .
so much pain and distress
grief, misery, suffering
all kinds of different stress.

Tears, tears, tears . . .
so many are being shed
persecution, torment, anguish
all kinds of different dread.

Wars, wars, wars . . .
at home and abroad
murders, slaughters, executions
all kinds of different squads

Troubles, sorrows, tears, wars . . .
when will it all come to an end
how much longer heavenly Father
till Jesus, You finally send?

Wolves ~

Lord, I’m having a problem
seeing things in Your light
for, there’s so much deceit
that I daily have to fight.

I’m having difficulty,
with finding the straight way
for, there’s so many preachers
with something different to say.

I’m having a struggle,
with finding the Gospel facts
for, there’s so many Bibles
where the truth is not intact.

 I’m having some issues,
with getting to the narrow gate
for, there’s so many leaders
who have a shifty gait.

to what the wolves have to say
for, I just don’t recognize . . .
the Truth, the Light or the Way!

There’s A Conspiracy ~

There is a conspiracy,
a plot is in the air . . .
if you’d really look into it
it’ll give you quite a scare.

There is a heist,
a robbery of our senses
one day you and I . . .
will be left with no defenses.

There is a plot,
a scheme to dominate
our invaders are full
of nothing, but pure hate.

There is a storm,
an incursion to override
life and liberty . . .
till we are all polarized.

There is an attack,
an invasion of our rights
we’ll be left unprotected
with no means in which to fight.

There is a plan,
to take away our freedom
and soon they’ll usher in
an evil One-World kingdom!

Oh, The Things I’ve Seen ~

I have seen morality fade,
the withering of man’s ethics
I have seen Love’s first bloom
be shattered, by the skeptics.

I have seen evil governments,
that are wicked and corrupt
I have seen terrorist bombs
on peaceful streets erupt.

I have seen earthy riches,
make the wealthiest go bust
I have seen the awful pain
due to hearts full of lust.

I have seen Satan destroy,
families with booze and dope
I have seen little children
give up all trust and hope.

I have seen the falling away,
of those who once believed
I have seen to their First Love
they no longer heed or cleave.

I have seen the fruit plummet,
far from the One True Vine
I have seen the Gospel truth
become dull and benign.

But, what I have not seen,
is for God to change His mind

The Latter Rain ~

I can feel the sprinkling,
of the latter rain . . .
I can see the first drops
falling on a world full of pain.

I can tell the time is near,
by the heart-broken cries
I can hear the thunder roar
over the false prophets lies.

I can perceive the drought,
upon all nations of the land
I can envision the deadly hunger
as God releases Armageddon’s plan.

I can sense the precipitation,
of wars and rumors of every kind
I can recognize the dribble . . .
Satan’s uses on man’s mind.

I can see disease’s down pouring
as it spreads from coast to coast
I can tell of the ungodly leaders
teeming to be the Anti-Christ host.

I can hear the violent sputter,
beneath the earth’s shaky crust
I can see how sin has drenched
the world in greed and lust.

when the latter rain will fall

Summer’s End . . .

The rose has all but paled,
the sweet-pea has gone to seed
where the daffodils once swayed
is now covered with a deadly weed.

The daisy has lost its last petal,
in a fight for love or not
and the last of the pansies
are looking a little fraught.

The lavender has now faded,
along with its aromatic scent
by the looks of the gardenia
it too, will soon be spent.

As I look around my garden,
I see summer’s timely end
and I sense Jesus’ second coming
is just around the bend!

Where Are You Lord ~

Lord, where are You,
when are you coming for me?
for in the darkness of this world
Your light I can no longer see.

I don’t understand,
I just don’t get it . . .
and right now my soul
needs from You a lift.

Where are you now,

there is so much going on
that I don’t want to see.

For my soul is broken,

The Road Most Traveled ~

There is a road most traveled on,
I see plenty of people on it today
you too may know of it . . .
for it leads to spiritual decay.

It is as wide as it is long,
it’s paved with greed and pride
and those who travel on it
are arrogant, smug and snide.

Satan has smoothed the way,
with lust and every immorality
and the throngs gladly follow
for it is the “New Age” reality.

On their journey they take along,
their love for ungodly things
and if you get in their way
animosity at you, they will fling.

Sadly, our country is on this road,
and its leading to total devastation
you too may know of it . . .
for it’s in the Book of Revelation!
