I love God,
I love Him even more
ever since He opened
to me heaven’s door.
For He sent His Son
to set me from sin free
so one day with Him
I could forever be.
I love Jesus,
I love Him even deeper
ever since He became
my soul’s keeper.
For without His grace,
I would still be doomed
but now up in heaven
He’s prepared me a room.
I love God,
I too love His Son . . .
and I’m so thankful
for all they have done!

Ephesians 2:4-5
But God, who is rich in mercy,
for his great love wherewith
he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins,
hath quickened us together with
Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

If we the people of
the good old USA
would only be humble
before God and pray . . .
Then He would forgive us,
of our rebellion and sin
and bless once more
these States we live in.
If all we the people,
were to seek His face
confessing and repenting
of our sinful disgrace.
Then God would heal,
our divided land
and United under Him
we would again stand.
If we the people,
would pledge our trust
and see that God’s laws
are fair and just.
Then God would,
give us a new start
and restore to Him
our Nation’s heart.
If we the people,
of the USA
would only be humble
and to God pray . . .
~~~~~~~~
If my people, which are called
by my name, shall humble
themselves, and pray, and
seek my face, and turn from
their wicked ways; then will
I hear from heaven, and will
forgive their sin, and will
heal their land.
All we humans,
are truly loathsome
we are all to God . . .
far from wholesome.
But, we who repent,
have been forgiven
and to evil we are . . .
no longer driven.
We are all wicked,
utterly revolting
we are all to God
wrath provoking.
But, we who confess,
our every transgression
are no longer filled
with sin’s obsession.
All we humans,
are detestable beings
but, we who love Jesus . . .
in heaven we’ll be seeing!
The immoral are many,
their transgressions abound
they have no fear of God
their minds, Satan has bound.
They lust after each other,
their full of arrogance and pride
their self-serving gratification
they do not try to hide.
Their words are deceiving,
full of hatred for the opposing
for they do not care about . . .
the immorality they’re imposing.
Their beds are defiled,
with the adversary they sleep
dreaming of ways to quite . . .
those who are God’s sheep.
But, we mustn’t be silenced,
we must speak against all sin
for, if we do not say a word
we just let the Satan win!
Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest,
which are these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance,
emulations, wrath, strife, seditions,
heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness,
revellings, and such like:
of the which I tell you before,
that they which do such things
Do your tears downpour,
when you confess your sin
do they fall like raindrops
as they drip off your chin?
Is your heart remorseful,
of your every evil deed
will you give up your pride
and let the Holy Spirit lead?
Do your tears well up inside,
and come from deep within
do they drip like dewdrops
when you cry out to Him?
Will you come to the Light,
to have your heart reformed
will you call upon His name
so your life can be transformed?
Have you looked into God’s eyes,
and wept from your disgrace
do you know your tears to Him . . .
are the diamonds of His grace?
Embracing the new,
getting rid of the old
is freeing and liberating
makes us for Jesus bold.
It’s saying goodbye,
to former desires
it’s letting the Holy Spirit
ignite in our souls a fire.
Taking off the weight,
of spiritual depression
allows Jesus to make
a lasting impression.
It’s doing away with self,
and letting Jesus in
it’s going out everyday
not falling back into sin.
Doing away with the old,
for what is new . . .
is letting Jesus become
a part of you!
My soul God restores,
whenever I stray
He leads me straight back
onto the narrow way.
He tells me where,
I have gone wrong
shows me the places
I do not belong.
My soul God restores
with His mercy and grace
for, His arms long to keep me
in His loving embrace.
He knows I’m weak,
He knows I’m frail
He knows sin in my life
must not ever prevail.
My soul God restores,
His mercy is unrelenting
for, His love for me . . .
is relentlessly unending!
The weight of sin,
lies heavy
its high cost
is like a levy.
It will crush,
the lost soul
for hefty is
sins final toll.
Sin’s curse,
is most grave
for death is
its eternal grave.
Sin only wants,
to ensnare
it only brings
everlasting despair.
The weight of sin,
will kill us . . .
unless in Jesus
we believe and trust!
I am a new creature,
for I am forgiven
ever since my life
to Jesus I have given.
I am now set free,
from my past behaviors
and behind God’s back
are all of my failures.
Any kind of temptation,
I am competent to flee
now that the Holy Spirit
dwells inside of me.
I am not ashamed,
nor am I considered guilty
for Jesus paid the debt
for my every iniquity.
I am a repenter,
I’ve been transformed
ever since the day
to Jesus I conformed!
Lord, I’m digging down,
going way deep inside
all my selfish desires
I’m going to put aside.
It’s going to get dirty,
as I clear out the way
but, it must be clean
if I want You to stay.
I’m clearing a path,
by repenting of the sin
and all the wickedness
still hidden deep within.
In my heart of hearts,
way deep in my soul
tis where I want You
to take complete control.
Lord, I’m digging down,
going way down inside
making ready a place
where You can abide!
A discount religion,
is being offered today
with no talk about sin
or spiritual decay.
No need for repentance,
heaven everyone will reap
making the death of Jesus
look cut-rate and cheap.
Bargain basement prices,
tolerance is the big sell
with a shoddy guarantee
no one will end up in hell.
Eternal life to one and all,
no matter your life-path . . .
all you have to do is “love”
so not to face God’s wrath.
A discount religion,
is being offered today
and sadly it is leading
so many sheep astray!
I love the feel good religion,
like the one you hear today
I like knowing God loves me
no matter what I do or say.
I like giggling and laughing,
as the pastor jokes around
I like all the modern music
with that big band sound.
I like the laid back attitude,
the easygoing, off beat tempo
I love that the mega building
is progressive and contempo.
I like the main message,
about being richly blessed
I like the fact that my sins
I no longer have to confess.
I like not having to repent,
or change my ways or views
I like I’m not told anymore
what to God, is or isn’t taboo.
I love the feel good religion,
like the one you hear today
but, I love Jesus more . . .
so I think from it, I’ll stay away!
Who can be saved,
who can find the way
to the truth . . .
who’s heart can we sway?
The poor, the needy,
the contrite in spirit
the criminal, the crook
the morally illicit.
The heartbroken, the sick,
the lonely and heavy-laden
the prodigal, the wanderer
the weak and the shaken.
The meek, the lowly,
the forsaken desperate
the oppressed, the hopeless
the impossible degenerate.
The remorseful, the sad,
the penitent and regretful
to these and many more
we need not be neglectful!
I am loved . . .
do you know, you are too
for, Jesus loves everyone
no, matter what they do.
He loves the rebellious,
the sinner and the thief
He loves the sad, the forlorn
the ones, buried in their grief.
He loves the repulsive,
the mean and the hateful
He loves the wild, the unruly
those who are not peaceful.
He loves the liar,
the dishonest and the deceitful
He loves the fraud, the fake
all those who are unfaithful.
He loves the repentant,
the wandering, questioning one
He loves the remorseful
over the wrongs, they’ve done.
Jesus loves me,
I know, He loves all of you
if He forgave a sinner like me . . .
I know, He’ll forgive you too!
If we’re to have a bright future,
we must willingly follow God’s plans
if we’re going to walk in faith
we must put our trust in His hands.
If we’re not to be weary,
we must give God our distress
if we’re to find rest for our souls
we must be willing to onward press.
If we’re to have strength and power,
we must first admit we are weak
if we’re to soar like eagles
we must learn to be humble and meek.
If we’re trying to find real peace,
we mustn’t give in to fear or doubt
if we’re wanting to see God’s light
we must shut all the darkness out.
If we’re to have true victory,
we must run the race so we can win
if we’re to receive our reward
we must repent from our every sin!
At the foot of the cross,
my tears mixed with shame
and I felt such deep regret
as I cried out His name.
“Lord, I know my sins,
have caused You much pain
please come into my life
my soul, my heart and reign.”
Waves of guilt passed by,
one-by-one they marched on
I looked to God and praised Him
for the gift of His beloved Son.
As I prayed for forgiveness,
confessing to Him my every sin
I could feel His love and mercy
purging the shame I felt within.
I was redeemed by grace,
that day Jesus died for me . . .
and there at the foot of the cross
He declared me ~ no longer guilty!
Lord, how many times have I denied You,
unlike Peter, I know of more than three
yet, just like Peter all I really wanted
was to follow and go along with Thee.
Lord, how many times did I reject,
the promises I found in Your Word
for, when faced with life’s impossibilities
I acted as if these truths, I never heard.
Lord, how many times did I refuse,
the path You had laid out for me
for, when my selfish pride took control
Your plans I didn’t want to see.
Lord, how many times did I decline,
Your mercy and endless grace
for, when I found true contentment
it wasn’t You, who I embraced.
Lord, how many times have I denied,
too many to count, I do fear
that is why today I offer You . . .
my repentant, regretful tears!
I have a fever,
I’m burning up inside
I have a condition
that isn’t going to subside.
I have an illness,
a heart sickening sense
and there is a reason
my affliction is so tense.
I have a malady,
a God-given Holy fear
that the end for some
will soon be very near.
I have an infection,
a real spiritual need
to tell of a treatment
all sinners must heed.
I have a diagnosis,
an analysis to man’s pride
I use the Word of God
I have a cure,
the only way to get well
is to accept Jesus as your Savior
so not to be tormented in Satan’s hell!
from the burden of religion
cast aside the smoke and mirrors
that are clouding up my vision.
Break down the wall of greed,
shatter the egotistical foundation
that is in Your church today
so I’ll not be led into temptation.
Sever the chains of works,
tear apart the man-made laws
crush under Your foot
each statute and every clause.
Pull me out from under,
Sin isn’t just the kind,
observed with the eyes
there can be so much more
no matter the disguise.
People may point out,
the obvious sin in our life
but it’s the sin that’s unseen
that will cause eternal strife.
Sin that can’t be seen,
that we keep deep within
doesn’t go unnoticed
though we think it’s hidden.
For God sees our hearts,
the sins we’re harboring
He knows every deep secret
that we are nurturing.
We need to check our robes,
look under what it covers
there may be sin in us . . .
He wants us to discover!
I saw the look of bitterness,
staring at me in the face
it held no compassion
nor any mercy or no grace.
It’s beady, steely eyes,
look right past my soul
making it clear to me
resentment was its goal.
I could see into the gaze,
of someone who can’t forgive
and the cause of the problem
how they constantly relive.
They say if looks could kill,
right now I’d be dead . . .
for the look of bitterness
has an evil, toxic head.
Bitterness is a sin,
destructive in every way
its roots need to be destroyed
for hearts and souls are its prey!
It’s not about the fall,
or the number of times we fail
it’s about getting back up
even though we are frail.
It’s not about the troubles,
that we get ourselves in
it’s about our decision
whether to continue in our sin.
It’s not about the breakdown,
or the times we come apart
it’s about if we emerge
with repentance in our heart.
It’s not about the wheat,
that goes through the sieve
it’s about the chaff that remains
It’s not about the fall,
knowing God’s mercy will prevail!
and riseth up again: but the wicked
