Go ahead,
dive right in
be washed
from your sin
Take the plunge,
into the waters
that are Living
without borders.
Go ahead,
jump into the Well
save yourself
form the pit of hell.
Take the leap,
into the Spring
life everlasting
to you it’ll bring.
Go ahead,
drink thereof . . .
the Living Waters
of God’s love!
~~~~~
Jesus answered and said unto her,
If thou knewest the gift of God,
and who it is that saith to thee,
Give me to drink; thou wouldest
have asked of him, and he would
have given thee living water.
The woman saith unto him,
Sir, thou hast nothing to
draw with, and the well is deep:
from whence then hast thou
that living water?
But whosoever drinketh of the water
that I shall give him shall never
thirst; but the water that I shall
give him shall be in him a well of
water springing up into everlasting life.
There is no fear,
of God today . . .
there’s no concern
for judgment day.
There’s no despair,
about hell today
there’s just too many
on the wide way.
There’s no dread,
over evil today
there’s not a soul
satan can’t sway.
There’s no turning,
from sin today
there’s so few left
on the straight way.
There’s no fear,
of God today . . .
but there’ll be trembling
come judgment day!
I could read everything offered,
on religion and theology
but, if I don’t believe in Jesus
it would all just be garbology.
I could study every book,
written by man on his thought
but, if I don’t believe in Jesus
all I’ve gleaned will be for naught.
I could go to a university,
cram long into the dead of night
but, if I don’t believe in Jesus
I will never see the True Light.
I could take tests and exams,
to see what I’ve learned
but, if I don’t believe in Jesus
in hell I’ll forever burn.
I could read everything offered,
by man about his belief . . .
but, if I don’t believe in Jesus
I’ll just end up with eternal grief!
One day before God,
you will give an account
as to why you shunned Him
and shut His Son out.
One day you will be,
to God accountable
and for your rebellion
be held responsible.
One day judgement’s seat,
you will have to face
and tell God why you rejected
His gift of love and grace.
One day Jesus.
will determine your fate
and open up to you the pit
and not the narrow gate.
One day before God,
you will bow . . .
one day Jesus’ name
you will avow!
My Shepherd knows me,
and I know His voice
so I follow Him . . .
it is my choice.
When I need comfort,
on His staff I lean
so His peace and calm
my heart can glean.
When in a valley,
He guides me along
when I get weary
He makes me strong.
When a mountain,
I have to face
He provides me with
more of His grace.
The Lord’s my Shepherd,
He knows me oh, so well
I choose to follow Him . . .
so not to end up in hell!
What ever happened to,
the old man on the street . . .
holding his sign warning
everyone that he’d meet?
There was a truth to be told,
a new kingdom was to come
and he was not too worried
about offending anyone.
Most people mocked him,
but, he didn’t feel any shame
for he wasn’t seeking after
worldly fortune or fame.
He wasn’t a rich man,
in fact he looked quite poor
but the riches that he had
were eternal and forever more.
What happened to the old man,
whose message rang a bell?
Come now and think,
let this sink in . . .
let us reason about
the effects of sin.
Contemplate with Me,
sin’s ramification
lets explore the meaning
of eternal damnation.
Let us mull this over,
where has sin gotten you
let’s consider together
what you need to do.
Envision with Me,
your sins forgiven
a life of peace and joy
with Me up in heaven.
Come now and think,
imagine a life sin free
that is what I can give
to all who love Me!
When the thief comes,
it could be day or night
for all he cares about
is stealing Jesus’ light.
He has up his sleeve,
a life gripping plan
for, he wants to snatch you
right out of God’s hand.
His purpose is clear,
in hell he wants you
for, he’s out to destroy
your heavenly view.
He will discourage you,
he wants you defeated
for, he wants you to feel
you have been cheated.
When the thief comes,
you may be awake or asleep
for, all satan cares about . . .
is stealing Jesus’ sheep!
Beaten, but not broken,
down, but not out
for I’m in this fight
to win the bout.
Shattered, but not crushed,
weak, but not frail
for there’s no way
Satan’s taking me to hell.
Tattered, but not torn,
bleak, but not resigned
for my heart and God’s
will always be aligned.
Fragile, but not hopeless,
mournful, but not blue
for nothing can shake
my faith, Lord in You.
Beaten, but not broken,
for I’m in it to win it . . .
that’s why you won’t see
me ever give up or quit!
There are two roads,
two different destinies
one has a remedy
the other has penalties.
One leads to heaven,
the other one to hell
both determine where
in eternity we will dwell.
One takes endurance,
strength and firmness
one takes indifference
greed and worldliness.
Each one of us,
has a decision to make
we must choose the road
we are willing to take.
There are two different roads,
but only one true path
that will lead us away . . .
from knowing God’s wrath!
“Enter ye in at the strait gate:
for wide is the gate, and broad
be which go in thereat:
and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it.”
The wicked enter through,
the gate of pride and lust
worldly riches pave the path
for it’s in “things” they do trust.
They walk with the ungodly,
party with the irreligious
depravity sleeps in their beds
their covers are sacrilegious.
The wicked live in the dark,
their lives are full of greed
they look to the immoral law
to fill their wants and needs.
They do not have a future,
they keep evilness in their sight
theyโre on a road of no hope
In case you don’t know,
he’s poison, he’s toxic
he’s deadly and full ofย evil.
He’s wicked, He’s a liar,
He’s wretched, he’s vile,
destruction is all he brings
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth’s foundation.
I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it’s God’s image
He puts into all of us.
I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it’s still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.
I believe that man’s heart,
has always been cold and callous
I believe it’s full of deceit
filled with ungodly malice.
I believe in Jesus,
God’s only begotten Son
I believe He died and rose again
for the sins of everyone.
I believe in redemption,
from our wicked, evil ways
I believe it’s the blood of the Lamb
that washes our sins away.
I believe in God’s love,
I believe in His grace
I believe one day
God’s judgement all will face.
I believe in Heaven,
I also believe in hell . . .
I believe for eternity it’s where
the unsaved will dwell.
I believe in the hope,
Jesus imparts in me
I believe all can be saved
if these truth they’d just see!
Watch out my Christian friend . . .
for the stumbling blocks Satan lays
heโll sneak them out in front of you
to throw you off the righteous ways.
Heโll point out all your weaknesses,
in hopes that you will buckle and cave
heโll make you feel pathetic
so to his lies youโll become a slave.
Heโll tell you that youโre no good,
God wants nothing to do with you
heโll throw your sins in your face
so his sham you wonโt see through.
Heโll cause you to stray off the course,
with lustful thoughts for worldly things
heโll let you think you deserve them
so you wonโt know the deceit he brings.
Heโll make you question Godโs love,
whether for you He really cares
heโll tempt you with fear and doubt
for they are two of his biggest snares.
Watch out my Christian friend . . .
donโt let Satan cause you to stumble
lest the blocks he puts in your way
will cause you into his pit ~ tumble!
I have walked on this earth,
for many, many years . . .
I’ve stumbled and I’ve fallen
over my doubts and my fears.
Many times I have thought,
another step I could not take
and life’s troubling journey
I just did not want to make.
I struggled with the frantic pace,
I wrestled with the anxious stride
until the day, I came to realize
I was marching to my own pride.
I knew I needed deliverance,
from the course that I was on
and that is when I felt my life
to God being forever drawn.
He set me on a new path,
and saved me from the pit
He found me not guilty
and my sins, He did acquit!
Be watchful of the Wicked One,
for he is the Great Deceiver
he is roaming around like a Lion
looking to devour every believer.
He is like the Dragon of Old,
still spewing out his poison mire
be careful of this godless Beast
or you’ll spend eternity in his fire.
For, he is the King of Babylon,
the King of the Bottomless Pit
where he’s making plenty of room
for the lost and unsaved to fit.
Beware of the Prince of the Air,
the Ruler of the World, the Thief
for he is the Grand Old Liar
and wants to rob you of your belief.
He is the Evil and Lawless one,
our Adversary, the Father of Lies
and it is his soul’s desire
that all shall look into his eyes.
He is the Man of Sin, our Accuser,
the Tempter and your Murderer
he is the Power of Darkness within
he is Satan, the Serpent Lucifer.
Be on the alert for the Anti Christ,
he will transform himself into peace
before he sets off his bloody rage!
It’s His way or the wrong way,
there can be no other road
it’s His way or the long way
with sin’s burden as your load.
It’s the cursed and risky path,
that leads to self-destruction
it’s the safe and secure path
that leads to God’s instruction.
It’s His way or the easy way,
the decision is ours to make
it’s His way or the mistaken way
we choose the pathway to take.
It’s the wide and sinful way,
that leads to death and endless hell
it’s the narrow and righteous way
that leads to where Jesus dwells.
Blessed are those who mourn,
those who see their lost condition
those whose heart for God are broken
who feel the sting of their affliction.
Blessed are those who are suffering,
those who see the effects of their sin
those who know of the pain of rebellion
who can feel the ache deep within.
Blessed are those who are distressed,
those who are awake to their sad state
those who are miserable and troubled
who can see the flames at hell’s gate.
Blessed are those who feel remorseful,
those who understands God’s great grief
those who have been a part of this world
who know that Jesus came to give relief.
Blessed are those who are sober-minded,
those who feel the weight of their offense
those who have been washed and forgiven
who now come to their Savior’s defense.
Blessed are those who mourn,
I’ll keep my faith steadfast,
my Savior’s grace I’ll profess
so to be saved from the pit
I’m a survivor,
I beat the odds
no longer trapped
in Satan’s claws.
Freed from evil,
the effects of sin
ever since Jesus
in my life came in.
Released from hell,
in that awful pit
no longer stuck
in the mire and grit.
He took my sins,
carried them away
then in my heart
He came to stay.
Loosened my soul,
from the ugly stain
opened heaven’s door
unlocked the chain.
I’m a survivor,
Jesus saved me
from sin’s darkness
I am set free!
