The Eyes of My Faith ~
The eyes of my faith,
have seen many things
they have witnessed
what trusting God brings.
They’ve stared right into,
the pit of my soul
they have observed Jesus
taking in me control.
The eyes of my faith,
have watched in unbelief
the world reject God
in utter disbelief.
They’ve spotted the falling,
of man away from God
they’ve seen the advancing
of satan’s ravaging squad.
They eyes of my faith,
keep waiting and watching
for Jesus to return . . .
in a moment’s twinkling.
~~~~~~~~~~
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump: for the trumpet
shall sound, and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
But the natural man receiveth
not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned.
When At Last Jesus Returns ~
When at last Jesus returns,
He’ll bring with Him all the angels
up to the clouds He will call
the saints throughout the ages.
There’ll be a reuniting,
of all His sleeping saints
from the grave their bodies
and souls will reacquaint.
When at last Jesus returns,
there’ll be a loud command
the sounding of a trumpet
will be heard across the land.
Those who’ve been waiting,
will join their Savior in the air
as soon as they hear . . . .
the trumpet’s final warning blare.
When at last Jesus returns,
to paradise with Him we’ll go
where bliss and peace eternally
will gloriously forever flow!
~~~~~~
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump: for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Perhaps Today My Lord Will Come ~
Perhaps today . . .
my Lord will come
perhaps today I’ll see
my Lord on the clouds
coming down for me.
Perhaps today . . .
my Lord will call
perhaps today I’ll hear
the sound of His trumpet
telling me He is here.
Perhaps today . . .
my Lord will show
perhaps today I’ll catch
that twinkling in my eyes
and be taken in a snatch.
Perhaps today . . .
my Lord will arrive
perhaps today I’ll leave
with my Savior to paradise
along with all who believe.
Perhaps today . . .
my Lord will come
perhaps today I’ll be
forever in peace with Him
in the bliss of eternity!

“And then shall appear the sign
of the Son of man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes
of the earth mourn, and they
shall see the Son of man coming
in the clouds of heaven with
power and great glory.”
“In a moment, in the twinkling
of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall
be changed.”

Another New Year ~
Soon there will be,
another New Year . . .
twelve more months
will again be here.
I don’t know about you,
but my, how time flies
years seem to pass . . .
like a blink of my eyes.
Speaking about blinking,
I cannot help thinking
will this be the year . . .
I’ll witness that twinkling.
For, I know any second,
Jesus could come again
and to this all I can say . . .
is Amen and Amen.
My only new resolution,
for the approaching year
is to keep my ears open . . .
so the last trump I can hear!!
~~~~~~
In a moment,
in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
I’ve Got This Inkling ~
Oh, Lord I’m waiting,
for that glorious day
when You will return
to take our pain away.
I am anticipating,
that trumpet blowing
to see no more tears
from our eyes flowing.
Oh, Lord I’m ready,
for no more sorrow
I am anxious to see
our new tomorrow.
I am expecting,
to witness the passing
of the former things
that were never lasting.
Oh, Lord I am waiting,
I’ve got this inkling
that very soon . . .
I’ll see that twinkling!
~~~~~~
“And God shall wipe away
all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no
more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall
there be any more pain:
for the former things
are passed away.”

Ready or Not ~
When the Lord comes,
where will you be
what will you be doing
will the clouds you see?
Will you be able to hear,
the last trumpet call
or will it on deaf ears
plummet and fall?
When the Lord comes,
what will you be thinking
will you be prepared . . .
or miss the twinkling?
Will you be alert,
at any given instant
or will you be asleep
far off and distant?
When the Lord comes,
will you be ready or not
will you be waiting . . .
in the clouds to be caught?

In A Twinkling of An Eye ~
I am coming soon,
in a twinkling of an eye
will you be sober . . .
to see Me in the sky?
I am coming soon,
what will you be doing
do you believe with Me
you soon will be going?
I am coming soon,
in a twinkling of an eye
will you be alert . . .
to my trumpet’s cry?
I am coming soon,
have you any doubt
will you be ready . . .
or have you shut Me out?
I am coming soon,
in a twinkling of an eye
will you be asleep . . .
or are you on standby?
I am coming soon,
will you be transformed
or to this world have you . . .
become conformed?

Where Will You Be?
Where will you be,
on that fateful day
when the Lord takes
His faithful away?
Will you be prepared,
in the twinkling of an eye
or will you be trapped
in one of Satan’s lie?
Will you be ready,
to meet Him in the air
or will you be caught
in Satan’s deceitful snare?
Will you be awaiting,
His return in the clouds
or will you be . . .
left behind with the crowds?
If you are not saved,
I pray you will see . . .
the need for salvation
so with Jesus you’ll be!
