Sheep Needing Feeding ~

The harvest is getting closer,
so many sheep need feeding
it’s time to go into the field
for so many are needing.

Needing to know God,
His mercy and favor
needing to find hope
the grace of a Savior.

Needing to be set free,
from satan’s deceit
needing the Gospel truth
about the judgment seat.

Needing the blood of Christ,
the Truth, Way and Life
needing to find freedom
from their sinful strife.

Harvest time is coming,
the sheep still need feeding
and it’s up to you and I . . .
to fulfill Jesus’ heeding!

~~~~~~~~
John 21.17
“He saith unto him the third time,
Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?
Peter was grieved because he said
unto him the third time,
Lovest thou me?
And he said unto him, Lord,
thou knowest all things;
thou knowest that I love thee.
Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”
Crumbs ~
Crumbs,
morsels of hope
for us to spread
all over the globe.
Crumbs,
little bits of peace
for us to scatter
and daily release.
Crumbs,
scrapes of light
for us to sow
to give new sight.
Crumbs,
shreds of what we believe
so the Good News
others can receive.
Crumbs,
put them all together
oh what a great harvest
we could truly gather!
yet the dogs eat of the crumbs
which fall from their masters’ table.”
So Many Needs ~
So many needs,
so many cares
causing His sheep
so much despair.
When will they seek,
when will they come
to the One who will
bear every one?
So many problems,
so many concerns
causing His sheep
thoughts to churn.
When will they know,
when will they find
Jesus is waiting
to comfort their mind?
So many doubts,
so many questions
causing His sheep
bouts of depression.
When will they see,
when will they hear
Jesus is wanting
to calm their fear?
So many defeated,
so many gone astray
so many we can lead . . .
back to Jesus today!
~~~~~~~

Isaiah 53:6

“All we like sheep
have gone astray;
we have turned
every one to
his own way;
and the Lord
hath laid on him
the iniquity of us all.”

Let Me Count the Tears ~

~ CHRISTian poetry by deborahann ~ Sow In Tears- IBible Verses

Let me count the tears,
I’ve cried all these years
over your lost soul . . .
begging God to take control.

Oh, how I have prayed,
for you, I was so afraid
that you would never know
the Savior who loves you so.

I’d lie awake at night,
wept for the truth and the light
to shine in your life . . .
freeing you from your strife.

There was not a day,
when for you, I did not pray
for the seed that was sown
to lead you to God’s throne.

Let me count the tears,
I’ve cried all these years . . .
but oh, the joy they now bring
since salvation’s song you sing!

“They that sow in tears
shall reap in joy.”

How Far Will the Harvest Go ~

Harvest Season ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~ photo wikipedia

How long will the fields be ready,
how far will the harvest go . . .
how much longer will we reap?
None of us, will ever know.

But, we must continue to toil,
to sow, water and to feed . . .
we must be willing to continue
to plant for God, the Good seed.

No one said it’s an easy job,
this sowing and gathering
for it takes a lot to keep . . .
wayward seeds from scattering.

But, if we want a full crop,
one that will yield a rich return
we need to save the scattered
less they might be left to burn.

We must keep protecting,
the fields from all disease
even if each sower . . .
has to get down on their knees.

How far will the harvest go,
only the Good Lord knows
and it is our job and duty . . .
to see that His harvest grows!

~~~~~~~~~
John 4:35
“Say not ye, There are yet four months,
and then cometh harvest? behold,
I say unto you, Lift up your eyes,
and look on the fields; for they are
white already to harvest.”
Let Me Not Tire ~
Even When ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah annJesus is our Good Shepherd IBible Verses
Lord, let me not tire,
or get too weary to do
the good works  . . .
that bring other’s to You.
Help me to be strong,
while sowing trust’s seeds
let not my faith get mixed
with the tares and weeds.
Lord, let me not faint,
in the heat of the day
help me to be strong
so hearts, I may sway.
Help me to always keep,
my eyes on the goal
so I may harvest for You
every wandering soul.
Lord, let me not tire,
while I wait to reap . . .
let me not ever get weary
of saving Your lost sheep!
~~~~~~~~~~

Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary
 in well doing:
for in due season we shall reap,
if we faint not.

A Bountiful Harvest ~

The Harvest used with permission Doorpost Verses on Facebook

Lord, may this year’s harvest,
for You ~ be bountiful
may it be one of abundance
full of souls, who are faithful.

May the ground that was toiled,
with the labor of hope and trust
produce a return for You . . .
that is righteous, moral and just.

May the seeds that were sown,
in the glory of Your grace
yield new hearts for You
across each nation, every race.

May the prayers over the fields,
change a multitude of lives
may they continue in Your love
to grow, reproduce and thrive.

Lord, may this year’s harvest,
for You ~ be plentiful
may it be one of abundance
widespread and bountiful!

Soul Reachers ~

~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~ Alberta Harvest Creation Swap ~

You don’t need a megaphone,
to spread the Good News . . .
you don’t need a soap box
for others to hear God’s views.

You don’t need to be a scholar,
or go to theology school
you don’t need a church class room
to teach the Golden Rule.

You don’t need a billboard,
or stand on the street corner
you don’t need a loud-speaker
to be an end-time warner.

You don’t need a million dollars,
or a church’s mega building
you don’t have to spend a cent
to tell about the Kingdom coming.

Everyone can be a witness,
you don’t have to be a preacher
right where you are you can be . . .
for Jesus, a soul reacher!

It’s Always Harvest Time ~

The Harvest used with permission Doorpost Verses on Facebook

Not just at harvest time,
do we need to have a reason
we can plant seeds of hope
in and out, of every season.

We can reap souls to Jesus,
no matter the time of year
it doesn’t have to be Autumn
harvest time, is always here.

Seeds of faith can be planted,
into the hearts of everyone
whether under snowy covers
or the warm blanket of the sun.

We can gather in the lost,
bring back a wandering soul
it doesn’t have to be Fall
for the harvest, God controls.

It’s always harvest time,
we don’t need to have a reason
we can sow seeds of eternal hope
in and out, of every season!

Luke 10:2

“Therefore said he unto them,
The harvest truly is great,
but the labourers are few:
pray ye therefore the Lord
of the harvest, that he would
send forth labourers into his harvest.”

The Harvest is Near ~

Nature by Sandara Lee free photo Creation Swap

The seed has been planted,
for every nation to hear
the fields are now ready
the harvest is almost near.

The season is turning right,
the time is drawing close
soon our Savior will come
but the hour no one knows.

The Word has gone out,
the desert rose is a bloom
in God’s heavenly mansion
there’s still plenty of room.

The soil has been prepared,
the sacrifice has been made
the time is running out
for lost souls to be swayed.

The showers have increased,
the outpouring is on the rise
and the day Jesus comes
will be twinkling in our eyes.

The message of hope continues,
it will to the very end . . .
still we don’t how much longer
the time ~ God plans to extend!

Matthew 24:36
King James Version

“But of that day and hour
knoweth no man,
no, not the angels
of heaven,
but my Father only.”

Summer’s End . . .

The Grass withers Used with permission DoorPost Verses on facebook

The rose has all but paled,
the sweet-pea has gone to seed
where the daffodils once swayed
is now covered with a deadly weed.

The daisy has lost its last petal,
in a fight for love or not
and the last of the pansies
are looking a little fraught.

The lavender has now faded,
along with its aromatic scent
by the looks of the gardenia
it too, will soon be spent.

As I look around my garden,
I see summer’s timely end
and I sense Jesus’ second coming
is just around the bend!

Isaiah 40:8
King James Version

“The grass withereth,
the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God
shall stand for ever.”

Use Me Lord ~

The Harvest used with permission Doorpost Verses on Facebook
Use my eyes Lord,
so that I might see
all those who are
seeking after Thee.

Use my ears Lord,
so that I may hear
the crying out of those
who live in fear.

Use my tongue Lord,
so that I may confess
and tell the world
of Your Righteousness.

Use my arms Lord,
so I may reach out
and gather up those
filled with doubt.

Use my legs Lord,
let them run free
to bring lost sheep
back unto Thee.

Use me Lord,
use all of me . . .
a part of Your harvest
I labor to be!

~~~~~~
Luke 10:2
King James Version
“Therefore said he unto them,
The harvest truly is great,
but the labourers are few:
pray ye therefore the Lord
of the harvest,
that he would
send forth labourers
into his harvest.
Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.
“It was the last and most important day of the Feast. Jesus stood up and spoke in a loud voice. He said, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Does anyone believe in me? Then, just as Scripture says, streams of living water will flow from inside him." When he said this, he meant the Holy Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit later. Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given. This was because Jesus had not yet received glory.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭7:37-39‬)
