Let Me carry that for you,
your heavy load give to Me
let Me have all your cares
so you can be burden free.

Embracing The New ~

Embracing the new,
getting rid of the old
is freeing and liberating
makes us for Jesus bold.

It’s saying goodbye,
to former desires
it’s letting the Holy Spirit
ignite in our souls a fire.

Taking off the weight,
of spiritual depression
allows Jesus to make
a lasting impression.

It’s doing away with self,
and letting Jesus in
it’s going out everyday
not falling back into sin.

Doing away with the old,
for what is new . . .
is letting Jesus become
a part of you!

Put Jesus First ~

When you put Jesus,
first on your list
there He will be

Don’t Be Offended ~

When you find yourself,
for Jesus being mocked
and your faith in God
is always getting knocked.

Don’t be offended,
by what people might do
rather let God’s peace
be what they see in you.

When you find yourself,
endlessly put down
and you’re tormented
for the truth you found.

Don’t be taken back,
by what people say
rather let Jesus help you
to show them the way.

for your Godly belief . . .
don’t let it cause you

Jesus Is The Only One ~

Jesus Your light is,
the only One that can
break through the stone

Call Upon Jesus ~

Rock Bottom ~

Hitting rock bottom,

Eternal Grief ~

I could read everything offered,
on religion and theology
but, if I don’t believe in Jesus
it would all just be garbology.

I could study every book,
written by man on his thought
but, if I don’t believe in Jesus
all I’ve gleaned will be for naught.

I could go to a university,
cram long into the dead of night
but, if I don’t believe in Jesus
I will never see the True Light.

I could take tests and exams,
to see what I’ve learned
but, if I don’t believe in Jesus
in hell I’ll forever burn.

but, if I don’t believe in Jesus

I knocked,

Some days when I feel,

When God Looks Down ~

When God looks down,
on us He sees . . .
the work of His Son
and not our sleaze.

He sees beyond,
our sinful lusts
for He sees His Son
in whom He trusts.

The Light of My Life ~

Today I am singing,
though outside it is gray
I can still see the Light . . .
though the sun’s tucked away.

For the Light that shines in me,

The Compassion of Jesus ~

The compassion of Jesus,
in all of its fullness . . .
is yours if you’ll grasp
onto all of His goodness.

gentle, caring and meek.

My Shepherd Knows Me ~

 

My Shepherd knows me,
and I know His voice
so I follow Him . . .
it is my choice.

When I need comfort,
on His staff I lean
so His peace and calm

My Spiritual Wants ~

My spiritual wants,
every day are met
over them I’ve no need
to worry or fret.

For when I’m hungry,
on the Word I feed
it supplies my soul
