Jesus Is My Rock

Jesus is my sure Rock,
my solid Foundation
on which I have based . . .
my eternal salvation.

He is the Cornerstone,
of my faith and hope
daily His grace gives me
the strength to cope.

Jesus is my Fortress,
it’s onto Him I hold
only by His power
am I fearless and bold.

He is the Protector,
of my heart and soul
tis why over my life
I give Him the control.

Jesus is my Stronghold,
onto which I cleave . . .
and soon on the clouds
with Him I will leave!

On My ROCKing Chair ~

On my ROCKing chair,
I’m sitting peacefully
rocking to and fro
oh, so ever calmly.

Though, I have worries,
I haven’t me a care
for while I am rocking
God listens to my prayer.

On my ROCKing chair,
I’m sitting comfortably
rocking back and forth
oh, so ever enjoyably.

Though, I have troubles,
I’m rocking all the same
for I’m so confident
as I call upon His name.

On my ROCKing chair,
I’m sitting quietly
rocking up and down
oh, so ever serenely.

Though, I have problems,
I’m gonna keep rocking
for God’s got me an answer
and soon He’ll be talking.

On my ROCKing chair,
I’m trusting and believing
for I know His response . . .
soon I’ll be receiving!

Jesus My Anchor ~

Jesus my Lord,
my Rock, my Anchor
You give me strength
my fears, You conquer.

Though the night be,
dark and stormy
I trust in Your might
to make the journey.

Jesus, my Hope,
my Comfort, my Peace
You give me faith
my doubts You cease.

Though the day be,
chaotic and lawless
my trust in You
remains flawless.

Nothing Can Move Me ~

Nothing can move me,
no gale can blow me away
no storm can overtake me . . .
or cause me to go astray.

No cloud is too menacing,
no tempest can take me down
no burst of wind can take
the faith in Jesus I’ve found.

No downpour can blind side me,
no squall is too big of a deluge
no turbulence can carry me off
for, Jesus is my Rock and Refuge.

No lightning or thunder strike,
no bolt can knock me to the ground
no cloudburst is so overwhelming
that in Jesus I can’t rebound.

Nothing can move me,
no storm, no gale, no bolt, no gust
will take from me the faith I have
for, with my life it’s Jesus I trust!

The Ocean’s Shore ~

As I stroll along,
the ocean’s shore
I feel blessed
to my very core.

Though I don’t know,
the water’s depth
I’m sure the Lord guides
my every step.

As I listen to,
the waves that roar
I trust God’s Spirit
over storms to soar.

Just like the warm sand,
and cool sea must meet
I know God’s the strength
beneath my feet.

And like a pebble,
in the soft sand
my faith can’t be crushed
by the foot of man.

As I watch the eagles,
land on the dock
I too find safety . . .
in the Lord, my Rock!

Jesus is my Peace,
my hope’s assurance
He is my calm
giving me endurance.

On The Rock ~

I’m building my house on the Rock,
it’s going up brick by brick
the Word will be the mortar I use
so my faith in God will stick.

The Rock will be my anchor,
when a tempest comes my way
I’ll hold onto His power
until the tempter goes away.

When the winds attack me,
my house will never fall
for the Rock is the strength
that dwells inside each wall.

If floodwaters were to rise,
my house will not go under
for God’s grace is its foundation
and a testament to His wonder.

I’m building my house on the Rock,
not on a pile of sand . . .
I’m trusting God to keep it strong
so before Him I can stand!

take care of this mess.

He’s hearing my prayer.

I’m sitting quietly
