Jesus My Everything ~

Jesus is my everything,
He is my all in all . . .
there is such a peace
when on His name I call.

He fills me with hope,
gives my life purpose
daily His love for me
rises to the surface.

He is my happiness,
He is always around
in His grace and mercy
I have learned to abound.

He is my Comforter,
my Redeemer and Helper
He is to me a Refuge
in a storm my Shelter.

Jesus is my everything,
my Beginning and End
He is my Lord, my Savior
my forever eternal Friend!

Jesus Is Our Helper ~

Jesus is our Helper,
from beginning to end
He’s been our Counselor
our trusted eternal Friend.

He is our Intercessor,
the link in our prayer chain
who helps when our words
we reach for and strain.

Jesus is our Advocate,
as our pleas to Him we aim
to God our litigator
when we call on His name.

He is our Strength,
who will never disappoint
in Him we have victory
through His vantage point.

Jesus is our Refuge,
the partner in our prayer
our present Helper
who will our burdens bear!

A New King ~

One day there will be,
on this earth a new King
and a new morality
He is going to bring.

Over all the universe,
He is going to reign
the depraved swamp
He is going to drain.

He will be the leader,
of every single land

He’ll hold in His hand.

where living waters flow
the Truth, Life and Way
all the people will know.

There’ll be no obstacles,
that will stand in His way
for satan and his demons
souls will no longer sway.

One day there will be,
a new King on this earth
and the whole wide world
will witness its rebirth!

Jesus is my stress reliever,
my care and burden taker
He is my mess cleaner . . .
my perfect peace maker.

He is my head lifter
my heart and soul restorer.

Jesus is my doubt reliever,
my fear and qualm calmer
He is my hope installer
my faith and trust instiller.

Jesus is my grudge reliever,
my failure and flaw fixer
He is my wound healer
my emotional scar tamer.

He is my guilt eraser . . .

A Touch Of His Hem ~

When I saw Him from a distance,
I ran and followed after Him
for, I believed all I needed . . .
was just a touch of His hem.

For years I’ve been scorned,
shunned by those around me
so I hid myself in the crowd
hoping my shame He wouldn’t see.

As He passed by I reached down,
and took from Him my cure . . .
for, I believed this man named Jesus
would heal me if my faith was pure.

He called me His daughter,
when my trust in Him I revealed
and from that very moment
from my disease I was healed.

He bid to me to go in good comfort,
saying my faith had made me whole
for, I believe as I touched His hem . . .
He imparted favor right into my soul.

There is a lesson to my story,
don’t be ashamed of your illness or sin
for Jesus still heals today . . .
if you let Him touch you from within!

He transforms lives,
a good work He’s doing
all because you are . . .
worth His pursuing.

He takes the wounded,
heals the grief and pain
He relieves the hurt
erases its scar and stain.

He captures the troubled,
changes their hearts
then love and peace
into them He imparts.

He removes the bitter,
in the sour old soul
He mends the mind
til it’s well and whole.

He takes the enraged,
makes them gleeful
He humbles them
to be for Him useful.

Transforming lives,
is His daily business
for Jesus is into . . .
healing and forgiveness!

Set Apart For Jesus ~

Set apart because,
He first loved us . . .
are those who have
in God faith and trust.

A life separated,
from worldly ways
devoted to Jesus
for all our days.

His Spirit within us,
now with Him we abide
no longer is there
an emptiness inside.

A life to God submitted,
holy and consecrated
now understand why
they were even created.

of the One who’s Beloved!

spirit’s nourishment

If I Were More Like My Master ~

If I were more like my Master . . .
I’d walk miles in the sand
just to lend someone
a helping, loving hand.

I’d be compassionate and kind,
gracious and merciful too
I’d give godly instructions
and show them what to do.

I’d calm down the waves,
walk on the turbulent sea
I’d encourage others to have
the faith to follow after me.

I’d see the lost and unsaved,
all the hungry people to feed
I would let them all know . . .
salvation was what they need.

I’d travel to every city,
spread the Good News around
I’d speak of Jesus’ forgiveness
how new life can be found.

If I were more like my Master . . .
I’d have a spirit of servitude
humility and meekness
would be my constant attitude!

He repairs hearts,

mends the spirit
heals the soul.

His love reaches,
the deep recesses

to those in need
His tender mercies

He steadies the nerves,
calms down the mind
so our fragile past
we can leave behind.

Jesus fills in the hole,
He’s the missing piece . . .

If it were not for Jesus,
I would not have made it
if it were not for Him . . .
giving me a new spirit.

But, once He came along,
He put flesh into my heart
and now to the world
I am no longer a part.

If it were not for Jesus,
I would have turned back

to help keep me on track.

But, He shines His Light,
on the Truth and Way
so from the narrow path
I’ll not wander or stray.

all bad advice to be banished
to oust the voice of darkness

all deception put to bed
to cast out satan’s trickery
so we can be Spirit lead.

Oh, to hear His voice in clarity,

but, I have only One . . .

Bogus Light ~

For Jesus I try not,
to let my light dim
so that I can be . . .
a True Light like Him.

So I’m very leery,
with all that I hear
for wolves like sheep
are too many I fear.

For Jesus I keep,
my light daily lit
it’s in the Scriptures
where I keep my faith fit.

So I’m very wary,
with all that I read . . .
and to false teaching
I refuse to heed.

For Jesus is the True Light,
all others are bogus . . .
tis why I keep this truth
always in my focus!

Jesus Our Teacher ~

Jesus is our teacher,
we learn from Him daily
how to live our lives
fearlessly and bravely.

He leads and shows us,
how we should pray
when we need His help
throughout the day.

Jesus is our role model,
of how we need to live
for He shows us how
we can love and forgive.

He gives us the faith,
to believe in His grace
so we can remain strong
in the faithful race.

Jesus is our teacher,
to God our One connector
He is our faith’s . . .
generator and perfecter!
