We All Look For Peace ~
We all look for,
some kind of peace
we all need
some sort of release.
We all want,
just a little rest
we all desire
a lot less stress.
We all seek,
a gentle calmness
we all wish for
a stilling solace.
We all require,
some kind of quiet
we all request
a tranquil climate.
We all look for,
a real genuine peace
but only Jesus . . .
true peace can release!

Jesus My Peace ~
Jesus is my Peace,
my hope’s assurance
He is my calm
giving me endurance.
Jesus is my love,
my faith’s objective
He is my purpose
giving me perspective.
Jesus is my anchor,
my trust’s serenity
He is my Rock
giving me tranquility.
Jesus is my Advocate,
my sin absorber
He is my Refuge
giving me a safe harbor.
Jesus is my peace,
my happy ever after
Jesus is to me . . .
all that really matters!

Peace Jesus Gives ~
Peace Jesus gives,
to all who seek
no matter if . . .
mighty or weak.
For in peace He came,
so we could find
peace to guard and keep
both heart and mind.
Peace Jesus offers,
to all who inquire
if it is truly . . .
their heart’s desire.
For He promises,
peace perfect
to minds on Him
that reflect.
Peace Jesus left,
for all of us
now we must . . .
in this trust!

my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth,

neither let it be afraid.

on thee: because
he trusteth in thee.

Autumn’s Peace ~
Oh Lord, may this Autumn,
You bring perfect rest
for those who are feeling
weary and hard pressed.
May You send to them,
peace and tranquility
may You bless them too
with hope’s serenity.
Oh Lord, may this Autumn,
Your mercy sprinkle down
on all of those who need
to sense Your calm around.
May you give to them,
a peaceful, settled mind
so that for a season
Your quietness they may find.
Oh Lord, may this Autumn,
bring a needed reprieve
so those who are weary
Your peace can receive!

True Peace and Rest ~
If you want to find,
true peace an contentment
then in your heart to God
make a real commitment.
For, peace and happiness,
in this world can’t be had
as it only offers you . . .
passing fancy’s and fad’s.
If you want to find,
true peace and serenity
then your life from God
you can’t live separately.
For, true peace and joy,
just cannot be found
’til in your soul you know
you are heaven bound.
If you want to find,
true peace and rest
then your heart to Jesus
you must invest!

God of My Peace ~
God of my peace,
Lord of my calm
You are to me
a soothing balm.
Whatever I need,
whatever my care
to You I can go
in confident prayer.
God of my trust,
Lord of my hope
You are the Anchor
at the end faith’s rope.
No matter the storms,
nor how long they be
You’re right in them
along side of me.
God of my calm,
Lord of my peace
may my trust and hope
in You, never cease!

my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth,
give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.”

Where To Turn ~
When I need some peace,
I turn to John 14:27
then I leave all my fears
on the throne up in heaven.
When Iโm feeling anxious,
I read Philippians 4:6
then I give all my troubles
to God to mend and fix.
When I need more strength,
I mediate on Psalm 18:2
then I rely on Godโs power
to help me to get through.
When Iโm feeling worn out,
I study Isaiah 40:31
then in God I am renewed
and my worries I overcome.
When I am low on faith,
I refer to Matthew 15:28
then I learn to trust in God
even if I have to wait.
When I am feeling unloved,
I turn to John 3:16
then I just bask and soak up
all the love that Jesus brings!

The Peace of Jesus ~
His peace, He has given you,
His peace, He leaves behind
His peace is like nothing else
you are ever going to find.
His peace is reassuring,
it is like a soothing balm
His peace fills you with joy
a sense of perpetual calm.
His peace is like the ocean,
as it ebbs upon the shore
His peace is like a rainbow
promising life evermore.
His peace is everlasting,
it will never cease or end
His peace is in knowing
He is your eternal friend.
His peace is like the dew,
settling on the early morn
His peace is like the soft face
of a child, newly born.
His peace will follow you,
throughout your entire day
His peace He has given you
He’ll never take it away!

My Peace Is Yours ~
My peace is yours,
come rest here with Me
give Me all of your cares
and all your fears will flee.
Don’t you know,
I purchased peace for you
the day I died, was the day
all things became brand new.
Come and sit here with Me,
let not your worries grow
let Me take them from you
so My peace you will know.
Don’t you be afraid,
leave the world far behind
My peace cannot be found
in the heart of mankind.
My peace is yours,
sit here with Me for a while
soak in all of My goodness
I promise it’ll be worthwhile!
