God’s Gift Of Trust ~

God’s gift of Trust,
is a treasure to find
it gives assurance
to both heart and mind.
It brings perfect peace,
when on God it’s stayed
it keeps us from being
afraid or dismayed.
God’s gift of Trust,
is something to seek
it gives us the strength
whenever we’re weak.
It keeps us believing,
all things He controls
so worry and doubt
can’t enter our souls.
God’s gift of Trust,
is a Divine blessing . . .
for it helps us into Him
to keep on pressing!

Tranquil Trust ~
Peaceful rest,
tranquil trust
is what Jesus
gives to us.
Putting our cares,
into His heart
so hope in ours
He can impart.
Blissful serenity,
calm’s quietness
is what Jesus
provides for us.
Giving our fears,
over to Him
so joy can fill
us to the brim.
Peaceful hearts,
tranquil minds
is what Jesus
wants us to find!

Lean ~
Some days when I feel,
I’ve lost faith’s composure
I stop and lean closer
on my Savior’s shoulder.
I lay my head there,
letting it rest for a while
until my trust in Him
I once again compile.
Some days when I feel,
tired and down right beat
I stop and lean closer
to my Savior’s feet.
It’s there were I lay,
my burden and my care
until unto my hope
I’m again made aware.
Some days when I feel,
I’m about to fall apart . . .
I stop and lean closer
to my Savior’s heart!

Trust That Enables ~
Feeling inadequate,
faith running low
losing the will
to let God, then let go?
Then you need to find,
the Holy Spirit’s fullness
so He can revive
your spiritual dullness.
Feeling ineffective,
trust is harder to find
too many burdens
weighing on your mind?
Then you need Jesus,
your strength to increase
so onto Him your cares
you’ll be able to release.
Feelings of inadequacy,
faith shaky and unstable
then ask God to provide you
with trust that enables!

Trust God ~

Trust God,
when you hurt
let His grace
your pain divert.
Trust God,
when you’re weak
with all your heart
His mercy seek.
Trust God,
when you’re tired
until His peace
is acquired.
Trust God,
when you’re anxious
let your mind
be His canvass.
Trust God when,
you don’t want to
and His love . . .
will make things new!

with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine
own understanding.”

Faith, Hope and Trust ~
What a precious treasure,
God has given us . . .
what a priceless gem
this word we call trust.
It doesn’t cost us a dime,
yet it’s more valuable than gold
you can’t find it in a store
it cannot be bought or sold.
It’s free for the asking,
all we have to do is believe
if we ask in faith . . .
the more of it we’ll receive.
The hope we have in Jesus,
will never deplete or run out
the only way to lose it . . .
is when we concede to doubt.
What a precious treasure,
these words are to us . . .
we are full of faith and hope
because in God we trust!

All I Need ~
I don’t need a shoulder,
on which I can cry
I need a God . . .
on whom I can rely.
I don’t need a pity party,
to wallow in my tears
I need a God . . .
who will always be near.
I don’t need sympathy,
for my pain and suffering
I need a God . . .
who’s constantly loving.
I don’t need a shoulder,
on which I can pout and cry . . .
all I need is my Lord and Savior
on whom ~ I can forever rely!

A heart that is peaceful,
knows in God it can trust
it knows believing this
is a daily must.
A heart that is satisfied,
knows God is always there
it knows it can give Him
its every worry and care.
A heart that is content,
knows God is good
it knows He will do
just what He should.
A heart that is committed,
know God always leads
it knows He will supply
all of its wants and needs.
A heart that is devoted,
knows God loves its praise
it knows He is faithful
and follows all of His ways.
A heart that is for God,

Trust Fund ~
Got me a trust fund,
use it every day
I can always count on it
especially when I pray.
God is the grantor,
His assets are all mine
it’s just like having
an eternal credit line.
I withdraw from it often,
but I never take a loss
for the rates are based on
the finished work of the cross.
Jesus is my inheritance,
I trust Him with all my heart
for I am the beneficiary
of the grace that He imparts.
My trust fund is secure,
the dividends keep growing
I am very confident . . .
to heaven ~ I’ll be going!

A Trusting Heart ~
A trusting heart knows God,
it is filled with His peace
it has a calmness deep within
that it knows will never cease.
It is full of worship and praise,
is triumphant in all its ways
it is devoted and committed
honoring God with all its days.
It is steadfast and faithful,
it has not a wavering beat
it rises in the morning
so it’s Savior it can meet.
It is happy and content,
joyfulness flows throughout
it harbors not a fear
and casts away all doubt.
A trusting heart knows God,
is always within its reach
it has a calmness deep within
because it is full of His peace!
