A Penitent Soul ~
Once you repent,
fruit you will bear
for all of your sins
will be laid out bare.
For a contrite heart,
will forsake all evil
follow no longer
the ways of the devil.
Once you profess,
you are a sinner
worldly conforming
no longer will hinder.
For a penitent soul,
desires no more
of what the world
has for it in store.
Once you repent,
you’ll bear the fruit
of true repentance
so sin can’t take root!

Bring forth therefore
fruits meet for repentance:

Keep Irrigated ~
My soul is like a garden,
where God’s Word I grow
I nourish it each day
so more faith I can sow.
It’s planted with grace,
hope, mercy and love
provided by God
daily from above.
It often needs weeding,
and a herbicide
so all the bad fruit
can be cast aside.
When it gets too dry,
I have a hardy supply
of Water that is Living
upon my parched out cry.
My soul is like a garden,
daily I tend to it . . .
I keep it irrigated
with the Holy Spirit!
~~~~~~~
Therefore they shall come and sing
in the height of Zion, and shall
flow together to the goodness of
the Lord, for wheat, and for wine,
and for oil, and for the young of
the flock and of the herd:
and their soul shall be as a
watered garden; and they shall
not sorrow any more at all.
Purging and Pruning ~
He deletes,
He rids, He clears
those who have
no Godly fear.
He prunes,
He snips, He trims
so we who remain
can be more like Him.
He purges,
He cuts, He chops
so He can grow
a righteous crop.
He tests,
He exams, He tries
to find those willing
to self to die.
He prunes,
He snips, He pares
so more fruit
for Him we’ll bear!
~~~~~~~~
Every branch in me that beareth
not fruit he taketh away:
and every branch that beareth
fruit, he purgeth it, that it may
bring forth more fruit.

~ to GOD be the GLORY ~
Into His Holy, Glorious Light ~
May God strengthen you,
with the power of His might
until with the saints you enter
into His holy, glorious light.
May you have endurance,
to run the faithful race
may you have a heart full
of praise, joy and grace.
May you hold onto the faith,
with patience and endurance
may all you say and do
be done with temperance.
May your life always be,
to your Father pleasing
may knowledge from His Word
you always be gleaning.
May God strengthen you,
in works that are good and right
may your fruits bring others
into His holy, glorious light!
~~~~~~~
“That ye might walk worthy
of the Lord unto all pleasing,
being fruitful in every good work,
and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Strengthened with all might,
according to his glorious power,
unto all patience and longsuffering
with joyfulness;
Giving thanks unto the Father,
which hath made us meet to be
partakers of the inheritance
of the saints in light:”
Your Joyfulness ~
Your joyfulness to Jesus,
is of great concern
He doesn’t want you troubled
at every turn.
Your faith to Jesus,
is invaluable
He doesn’t want your fear
to be palpable.
You hope to Jesus,
is indispensable
He doesn’t want your doubt
to be indefensible.
Your trust to Jesus,
is immeasurable
He doesn’t want your heart
to be vulnerable.
Your joyfulness to Jesus,
is of great concern
for He wants you to be fruitful
until the day He returns!
that my joy might remain in you,
and that your joy might be full.”
Bearing Good Fruits ~
Faith that is voiced,
faith that is shared
is a faith that knows
good fruit it’s to bear.
Faith that is productive,
faith that is fruitful
is a faith God makes
for His kingdom useful.
Faith that is spoken,
faith that is conveyed
is a faith that God needs
so hearts can be swayed.
Faith that is ministering,
faith that is life-saving
is a faith in Jesus
worthy of our embracing.
Faith that is hidden,
faith that we don’t share
is a faith in God . . . .
leading others no where!
~~~~~~~
“Even so faith,
if it hath not works,
is dead, being alone.”
“Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns,
or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree
bringeth forth good fruit;
but a corrupt tree
bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring
forth evil fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree
bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth
not forth good fruit
is hewn down, and cast
into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits
ye shall know them.”

Abiding On The Vine ~
If we are to remain,
abiding on the Vine
our life’s with Jesus
must intertwine.
If we are to abide,
in Jesus each day
we must be willing
to trust and obey.
If we are to stay,
connected to Him
we must allow Jesus
our branches to trim.
If we are to produce,
for Jesus good fruit
we must daily give
our ego’s a boot.
If we are to remain,
obey, produce and stay
then we must abide . . .
in His Word everyday.
~~~~~~
“I am the vine,
ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me,
and I in him,
the same bringeth
forth much fruit:
for without me
ye can do nothing.”
Fruit Bearing ~
If we want to bear good fruit,
if we want to stay green
then off the Word of God
we must constantly glean.
We need the waters of life,
to be on a constant flow
we need our roots nourished
so our faith in God can grow.
If we are to spread out,
if we are to far reach
then we must live the life
we’re so willing to preach.
If we are not to faint,
if we are not to wither
then we need to grow smaller
so God can become bigger.
If we want to be blessed,
we need to keep our hope alive
and into the Word of God
we must constantly dive!
~~~~~~~~
“Blessed is the man that trusteth
in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
“For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh, but her
leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful
in the year of drought, neither shall cease
from yielding fruit.”
