Your Joy Tank ~

When your joy tank,
starts running low
here are some thoughts
to help make it flow . . .

When you are troubled,
and your feeling drained
count it all for joy . . .
and more will be gained.

When you are weary,
and your joy is gone
rejoice in the Lord . . .
and more will be drawn.

When you are weepy,
and for joy your’re yearning
remember more will come . . .
first thing in the morning.

When your joy tank . . .
starts reading empty
remember God has for you
a supply of it ~ plenty!

We May Suffer Now ~

We may suffer now,
on our journey here on earth
but, oh the glory . . .
one day God will unearth.

We may moan and groan,
under all the strain
but, one day there will be
no more misery or pain.

We may be afflicted,
without having any relief
but, one day there will be
no heartbreak or grief.

We may wail and cry,
as our love one dies
but, one day there will be
no teardrops in our eyes.

We may suffer now,
but soon God will reveal
a new heaven and earth
that will be blissfully ideal!

Give Me Just A Glimpse ~

Lord, give me just a glimpse,
of how heaven’s going to be
let me peek into the room
You have reserved for me.

Let me see the streets,
paved with perfect peace
let me gaze upon the path
where grief will finally cease.

Lord, give me just a glimpse,
into the land of no more fear
let me glance into the Light
that’ll dry each and every tear.

Let me see the pathway,
where You will walk with me
let me have a quick look

part the clouds so I can see
my family and my friends
who are waiting there for me.

Winning Life’s Crown ~

When you’re discouraged,
feeling down in the dumps
you need to give yourself
in Jesus a joy jump.

For He can bring you out,
of that pit you are in . . .
once you start to focus
on the Goodness of Him.

When you’re disenchanted,
with the world around you
you need to give yourself
a more heavenly view.

For God has a mansion,
filled with numerous rooms
where tears, sorrows and death
no longer lurks or looms.

When you’re feeling sad,
discouraged and down
just think about Jesus . . .
and winning Life’s Crown!

I Long To Dwell ~

I long to dwell,
in eternal peace . . .
where fear and death
will forever cease.

Where things are seen,
through tearless eyes
where joyous shouts
are the only cries.

I long to dwell
on the other side
where with God . . .
His saints will reside.

Where sorrow stops,
as mourning ends
to spend eternity
with my forever Friend.

I long to dwell,
far from this place

stream down our face!

A World Full of Sorrow ~

A world full of sorrow,
heartbreak and grief
one day to it . . .
Jesus will bring relief.

Tears will no longer,
from eyes ebb and flow
nor will there be heard
cries of regret’s woe.

Pain will be defeated,
death will be no more
when Jesus returns
for His meek and poor.

All things will be new,
the former things gone
when the reins to world
Jesus at last takes on.

A world full of sorrow,

Beyond The Cross ~

Beyond the cross,
there’s a glorious view
for in Jesus’ death . . .
all things are made new.

New beginnings,
fresh clean starts
eternal hope
to fill our hearts.

Beyond the cross,
there is new life
the end to sin
and worldly strife.

No more battles,
no more struggles
no more satan
causing troubles.

Beyond the cross,
there are no fears
no death, no pain
and no more tears.

Despair will end,
suffering will cease
there will only be

I have a vision,
of better days . . .
it’s full of glory
worship and praise.

filled not with fear
eyes that no longer

I can see souls,

I can see where death

One Day In Heaven ~

One day in heaven,
we will have perfect rest
when with eternal life
we are finally blessed.

We’ll have rest from heartache,
from our every sorrow
rest from our labor
the worries of tomorrow.

We’ll have rest from pain,
every disease and illness
rest from death and dying
our own spiritual sickness.

We’ll have rest from suffering,
from all that causes stress
rest from our despair
our cares that hard press.

One day in heaven,
with peace we’ll be blessed
when with Jesus . . .
we eternally come to rest!

when You will return

from our eyes flowing.

to witness the passing
