Looking Unto Jesus ~
As troubles come,
as they most surely will
when the road ahead of you
looks all up hill.
When you are at a loss,
as to what to do
and you’ve no answers
not even a clue.
Look unto Jesus,
He knows how high the climb
He’ll help you over it
in His perfect time.
As hardships come,
as they seem to do
when they start to get
the very best of you.
When the pit you’re in,
is beyond waist deep
and all your cares
make you want to weep.
Look unto Jesus,
He will never let you sink
He is not as far away
as you may think.
As burdens come,
as they begin to occur
and in your mind
everything’s a big blur.
When nothing seems,
to make much sense
and you start to feel
nervous and tense.
Look unto Jesus,
He’ll give to you a new sight
and you’ll start to see . . .
everything through His light!

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus
the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before
him endured the cross, despising the
shame, and is set down at the right
hand of the throne of God.

Jesus Our Teacher ~
Jesus is our teacher,
we learn from Him daily
how to live our lives
fearlessly and bravely.
He leads and shows us,
how we should pray
when we need His help
throughout the day.
Jesus is our role model,
of how we need to live
for He shows us how
we can love and forgive.
He gives us the faith,
to believe in His grace
so we can remain strong
in the faithful race.
Jesus is our teacher,
to God our One connector
He is our faith’s . . .
generator and perfecter!

“The same came to Jesus by night,
and said unto him, Rabbi, we know
that thou art a teacher come from God:
for no man can do these miracles that
thou doest, except God be with him.
“Looking unto Jesus the author
and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set
before him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is set
down at the right hand of the
throne of God.”

Beyond The Cross ~
Beyond the cross,
there’s a glorious view
for in Jesus’ death . . .
all things are made new.
New beginnings,
fresh clean starts
eternal hope
to fill our hearts.
Beyond the cross,
there is new life
the end to sin
and worldly strife.
No more battles,
no more struggles
no more satan
causing troubles.
Beyond the cross,
there are no fears
no death, no pain
and no more tears.
Despair will end,
suffering will cease
there will only be
everlasting peace.
Beyond the cross,
hope springs anew
all because Jesus . . .
died for me and you!

My Eyes Are Fixed on Jesus ~
I’ve fixed my eyes on Jesus,
He’s never out of my sight
and I want to share with you
His healing, restoring light.
With Him mountains move,
red seas are parted too . . .
with His strength and power
there isn’t, anything you can’t do.
My hope is in His returning,
my faith is in His precious blood
and He wants to pour His grace
on you like a mighty flood.
My peace comes from Jesus,
I can face my darkest days
and He wants to lead you too
on the narrowest of ways.
I’ve fixed my eyes on Jesus,
nothing can take them off Him
and I want to share with you
why my joy is full to the brim!

By Faith Through Grace ~
In Christ alone,
my hope is found
and ever since
I’m heaven bound.
For Jesus gave me,
the gift of eternity
through faith in Him
I have this surety.
In Christ alone,
my resting place
not of my doing
but of His grace.
For Jesus died,
to give me peace
so I may live on
after I decease.
In Christ alone,
my hope is found
now that from sin
I’ve been unbound!!

Beyond This Side Of The Cross ~
Beyond the cross,
is a glorious view
for in Jesus’ death
all things are new.
New beginnings,
fresh clean starts
eternal hope
to fill our hearts.
Beyond the cross,
the truth we find
the love of God
for all mankind.
Light and love,
fills in the dark
exposes sin
raw and stark.
Beyond the cross,
there are no fears
no death, no pain
no more tears.
Despair will end,
suffering will cease
there will only be
everlasting peace.
Beyond the cross,
hope springs anew
all because Jesus

Keep Looking Up ~
Things looking a bit dark,
can’t see His light
getting tired of battling
the same old fight?
Spinning in circles,
going round and round
can’t get ahead
feeling more than down?
Can’t catch a break,
no matter what you do
feel as if the whole world
is fighting against you?
Well, you’re not alone,
others feel just like you
but as Christians we know
what we must do . . .
Look up to the heavens,
put your life in God’s hands
for Jesus is your one Friend
who truly understands.
He’s looking out for you,
believe it or not . . .
and if that’s not the truth
then our faith is for naught.
So, don’t throw in the towel,
don’t you ever give up
for this too shall pass
so, just keep looking up!
