Jesus My Everything ~

Jesus is my everything,
He is my all in all . . .
there is such a peace
when on His name I call.

He fills me with hope,
gives my life purpose
daily His love for me
rises to the surface.

He is my happiness,
He is always around
in His grace and mercy
I have learned to abound.

He is my Comforter,
my Redeemer and Helper
He is to me a Refuge
in a storm my Shelter.

Jesus is my everything,
my Beginning and End
He is my Lord, my Savior
my forever eternal Friend!

A Special Gift ~

Each of us has a purpose,
we just need to find it
each has a talent to apply
so together we can fit.

Each of us has a measure,
of faith to utilize
each has a job to do
if our part we’d realize.

Each of us has a role,
a service to perform
each has a function
whether a leg or an arm.

Each of us has a portion,
of grace for us to use
each has a dose of love
that we need to infuse.

Each of us has a duty,
to serve God in some way
each of us has a special gift
everyone, a role to play!

I Didn’t Know!

I didn’t know back then,
God had a plan for me
I didn’t know the designs
He had in store for me.

I wasn’t lead to the Word,
to see it with my own eyes
I didn’t know I had a future
to this ~ I wasn’t made wise.

I didn’t know to pray,
to ask Him for direction
I didn’t know my ignorance
would cause our separation.

I didn’t know I was to study,
the Bible or to read the Word
and when I went to church
these needs I never heard.

I wasn’t aware He declared,
the path He wanted me on
I wasn’t aware I was lost
til many years were gone.

I wish when I were young,
someone would have told me
there was a path God designed
and a purpose He had for me!

God Knows ~

God knows what you need,
even before you do . . .
He knows the path and the way
that He has prepared for you.

God knows your future,
good things are in His plans
but you must trust and believe
and put your life in His hands.

God knows your troubles,
they are in His thoughts
so give Him your faith today
and let Him connect the dots.

God knows your desires,
He has a purpose and design
they are yours to possess
but to doubt ~ you must resign.

God knows your every need,
they are all in His hand
so there’s no need to worry
He’s got for you a perfect plan!
