A Clean Heart Created ~

When you ask God,
a clean heart to create
all of the hardness
will no longer dictate.

Instead it will turn,
into a heart of flesh
so that it’ll no longer
with evilness enmesh.

When you ask God,
to create a pure heart
from all sinful things
you’ll willingly depart.

Instead you’ll pursue,
all things that are just
because now it is God
whom you love and trust.

When a new heart,
in you God creates
a renewed spirit . . .
every day awaits!

It’s God Way ~

It’s God way,
or the ways of man
it’s the wide road
or the narrow span.

It’s a spiritual life,
or one that’s carnal
it’s a heart of flesh
or one that’s normal.

It’s through our faith,
or through work’s toil
it’s the grace of Jesus
or the things that spoil.

It’s things that are good,
or those that are evil
it’s pursuing righteousness
or following the devil.

It’s God’s way,
for no other one . . .
will lead us to the Life
or the Way to His Son!

The Faces of Grace ~

There are many faces,
to God’s grace . . .
and each one of them
we need to embrace.

For everlasting peace,
grace will impart
right into the flesh
of every new heart.

Grace provides training,
we need to consider
for it’s the God’s Truth
and Life transmitter.

For eternal hope,
grace will convey
by showing us the things
that will lead us astray.

There are many sides,
to the face of grace . . .
and we need them all
if we are to win the race!

It’s A Matter Of Life ~

It’s a matter of life,
over one of death
it’s a matter of hope
on ones dying breath.

It’s a heart of flesh,
over one that’s stone
it’s a matter of trust
Jesus our sin atones.

It’s a mind believing,
over one that does not
it’s a matter of control
over our every thought.

It’s living in peace,
over residing with evil
it’s a matter of knowing
the schemes of the devil.

It’s a matter of hope,
over having none . . .
it’s a matter of believing
Jesus is God’s Son!

If Not For Jesus ~

If it were not for Jesus,
I would not have made it
if it were not for Him . . .
giving me a new spirit.

But, once He came along,
He put flesh into my heart
and now to the world
I am no longer a part.

If it were not for Jesus,
I would have turned back
if it were not for His Word
to help keep me on track.

But, He shines His Light,
on the Truth and Way
so from the narrow path
I’ll not wander or stray.

If it were not for Jesus,
I would have surely given in . . .
to the pressures of the world
to go out again and sin!

God’s Gift Of Love ~

God’s gift of Love,
is holy and pure
it has for everyone
the perfect cure.

For it is eternal,
unfailingly everlasting
it can be everyone’s
just for the asking.

God’s gift of Love,
is mightily powerful
when we give Jesus
our lives to control.

For He will change,
our heart’s of stone
into one’s that will be
just like His own.

God’s gift of Love,
is ours to embrace
when there is faith . . .
in His undying grace!

The Hand of God ~

Sometimes my heart,
seems to just melt
when upon it . . .
the hand of God is felt.

His love for me,
defrosts the icy parts
as mercy and grace
into it He imparts.

Some times my mind,
just simply evaporates
when in it . . .
the hand of God penetrates.

The hope He has for me,
keeps me before Him humble
causing my pride an ego
to dissolve into a puddle.

Sometimes my heart,
and my mind ventilates . . .
when the hand of God
on them permeates!

The cries of the heart,
don’t fall on deaf ears
for each one of them
God promises to hear.

The cry for a heart,
after His own
tells Him you long
to make it His home.

The cry for a heart,
He can transform
tells Him you want
it to be His platform.

The cry for a heart,
open and teachable
tells Him its ready
to be searchable.

The cry for a heart,
to know His ways
tells Him you want
to be lead each day.

that God can touch
