We All Need A Savior ~

We all need the blood,
to wash away our sin
we all need cleansing
from the grime within.

We all need forgiveness,
for the evil we’ve done
we all need the grace
of God’s begotten Son.

We all need to confess,
Jesus is our Savior
we all need to believe
He’s the gift of God’s favor.

We all need a heart,
trusting and believing
we all need a peace
eternal and unending.

We all need salvation,
if God were going to see
we all need Jesus . . .
to set our souls free!

~~~~~~~~~~
Romans 10:9
“That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Guilty Sinners ~
Guilty sinners,
deserving disgrace
instead are saved
by Jesus’ grace.
Worthy of hell,
its perishing heat
instead their Savior
in heaven will meet.
Guilty sinners,
not meriting favor
instead eternity
they will savor.
Worthy of humiliation,
for their sin
instead the crown of life
they will win.
Guilty sinners,
saved by Jesus’ grace
for He was cursed
in their place!
~~~~~~

Romans 3:23

“For all have sinned,
and come short of
the glory of God;”

Galatians 3:13

“Christ hath redeemed us from
the curse of the law, being
made a curse for us: for it
is written,
Cursed is every one
that hangeth on a tree:”

His Stripes ~

His stripes,
my forgiven sin
His chastisement
my peace within.

His wounds,
my transgression
His death
my redemption.

His bruising,
my iniquity
His crown
my victory.

His sorrow,
my corruption
His grief
my adoption.

His stripes,
my healing
His Spirit
my sealing!

~~~~~~~
Isaiah 53:4-5
“Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted.
“But he was wounded
for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace
was upon him;
and with his stripes
we are healed.”
Sticky Note From God 08.29.17
God Knows My Frame ~
Lord, You know my frame,
each fragile part
you know my soul
you know my heart.
To You I’m transparent,
You look right through me
no matter what I do
I know that You can see.
Lord, You know my stature,
every single detail
You know when I breathe in
You know when I exhale.
You known I’m human,
You know I’m but dust
You know my possessions
will only turn to rust.
Lord, You know my frame,
my sinful condition
it’s only by Your grace
I have redemption!
~~~~~~~~~

Psalm 103:14

“For he knoweth
our frame;

he remembereth
that we are dust.”

God of Our Strength ~

God of Our Strength ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

God of our strength,
God of our hope
give us each day
Your power to cope.

Give us the wisdom,
give us perseverance
help us to keep running
with faith and assurance.

God of our salvation,
God of our redemption
give us the boldness
when facing rejection.

Give us the courage,
give us the fortitude
help us to reflect You
in our daily attitude.

God of our strength,
God of our enlightenment
we need Your power  . . .
in today’s environment!

Job 12:13

“With him is wisdom and strength,
he hath counsel and understanding.”

The Assurances of Salvation ~

Man of Our Sorrow ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborahann ~ Salvation Belongs IBible Verses

The assurances of salvation,
are something to behold
for all through the Bible
before our eyes they unfold.

We have the declaration,
of God’s unfailing love
we have confirmed access to
His merciful throne above.

We have the eternal pledge,
of adoption and acceptance
we’re given the guarantee
we will see His holy presence.

We have the security,
of forgiveness and election
though Jesus we’re promised
justification and redemption.

We have the certainty,
soon Jesus will return
when Satan and all evilness
in hell, will forever burn.

We have the assurance,
of an everlasting inheritance
of a future hope and glory
in a joyful, peaceful residence!

The Best Love Story ~

The Best Love Story ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~ Photo CreationSwap

A love story not written,
with ink from a pen
but dripping with blood
to release all from sin.

The scarlet thread of love,
woven throughout history
reveals to all the world
salvation’s true mystery.

The design of redemption,
was always in God’s plan
it was the only way to show
His mercy, to all of man.

For, God knew our souls,
needed true deliverance
so His sent His Son, Jesus
to atone, for our ignorance.

Grace mixed with blood,
the day those nails were driven
making the death of Jesus . . .
the best love story ever written!

~~~~~~~~~~~
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have
everlasting life.”
Oh, The Precious Blood ~
Oh, The Precious Blood  ~ CHRISTian Poetry by deborah ann
Oh, the precious blood of Jesus,
grace flowing from His brow
seeps with our salvation
God’s atonement for us now.
Oh, the precious blood of Jesus,
love pouring from His heart
trickles of blessed assurance
only God’s mercy can impart.
Oh, the precious blood of Jesus,
redemption running free
droplets of His forgiveness
reconciliation for you and me.
Oh, the precious blood of Jesus,
justification pours from within
each drip that is brought forth
covers each and every sin
Oh, the precious blood of Jesus,
God’s spotless Lamb of grace
gave His life so we may live
if His sacrifice ~ we’d embrace!
~~~~~~~~~

Romans 5:9
King James Version

“Much more then, being now justified by his blood,
we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

By Grace Alone

By grace alone,
not of me . . .
in Christ through faith
is why I’m free.

By grace alone,
not of my hand
so I humbly receive
redemption’s plan.

By grace alone,
not of my deed
the Word is sufficient
for want and need.

By grace alone,
not of my thought
God and favor
cannot be bought.

By grace alone,
not of my doing
a gift in measure
worth my pursuing.

By grace alone,
not of me . . .
justification epitomized
on the cross of Calvary!

~~~~~~~
Ephesians 2:8
King James Version
“For by grace
you have been saved
through faith,
and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God.”
Marc Minter
Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.
“It was the last and most important day of the Feast. Jesus stood up and spoke in a loud voice. He said, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Does anyone believe in me? Then, just as Scripture says, streams of living water will flow from inside him." When he said this, he meant the Holy Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit later. Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given. This was because Jesus had not yet received glory.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭7:37-39‬)
