Jesus’ love for you,
never stills
it won’t go stagnant
never chills.
For, it is constant,
ever unyielding
ever steady
ever unchanging.
Jesus’ love for you,
never quits
it won’t go away
never splits.
For, its everlasting,
ever ceaseless
ever pursuing
ever relentless.
Jesus’ love for you,
never ends
for He is your . . .
eternal friend!

When others reject you,
when you feel let down
know you have a Friend
who is always around.
Jesus is that Friend,
who’ll never leave you
nor will you He abandon
like other people do.
When others put you off,
when they pay no notice
know you have a Friend
who has you in His focus.
Jesus is that Friend,
who sticks just like glue
He will never relinquish
the hold He has on you.
When others dismiss you,
when you are on your own
know you have a Friend
who’ll never leave you alone.
Jesus is the best Friend,
that you’ll ever make
for, He is your only Friend
who truly won’t forsake!

If I could write on the clouds,
the raindrops would descend
with the words of my undying love
for in Jesus ~ I’ve no better friend.
If I could write on the seas,
the waves would fall and crest
with the words of my endless faith
for in Jesus ~ I have perfect rest.
If I could write on the mountains,
the foothills would spell out and read
the words of my everlasting trust
for in Jesus ~ I have all that I need.
If I could write on the grass lands,
the blades would clap and sing
with the words of my heartfelt praise
for in Jesus ~ I have an eternal King.
If I could write on the sky,
the twinkling stars would letter out
the words of my eternal hope
for in Jesus~ I’ve not a single doubt.
If I could write up in heaven,
I would spell out your very name . . .
and pray your life you would give Him
for in Jesus ~ you’ll never be the same!

I speak of the things which I have made
touching the king:
my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”

Be merciful towards me Lord,
I’m working out my salvation
with fear and trembling . . .
I’m going to win every temptation.
Be gracious towards me Lord,
I’m working to remain in Your love
with fear and trembling . . .
I’m storing my treasures up above.
Be patient towards me Lord,
I’m working to find true peace
with fear and trembling . . .
I’m looking for grace to increase.
Be gentle towards me Lord,
I’m working out Your written Word
with fear and trembling . . .
I’m practicing the truth I’ve heard.
Be compassionate towards me Lord,
I’m working hard to comprehend
with fear and trembling . . .
the fullness of You, my eternal Friend.
Be long-suffering toward me Lord,
I’m laboring to enter into Your rest
with fear and trembling . . .
I’m giving to You, my very best.
Be merciful towards me Lord,
I am working out my salvation
with fear and trembling . . .
till the day of Your glorious perfection!

not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

His peace, He has given you,
His peace, He leaves behind
His peace is like nothing else
you are ever going to find.
His peace is reassuring,
it is like a soothing balm
His peace fills you with joy
a sense of perpetual calm.
His peace is like the ocean,
as it ebbs upon the shore
His peace is like a rainbow
promising life evermore.
His peace is everlasting,
it will never cease or end
His peace is in knowing
He is your eternal friend.
His peace is like the dew,
settling on the early morn
His peace is like the soft face
of a child, newly born.
His peace will follow you,
throughout your entire day
His peace He has given you
He’ll never take it away!

my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth,
give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.”

If today I were to meet Jesus,
and my life here came to an end
I would be so excited
to finally meet my eternal Friend.
I would run up to Him,
and look into His face
I would tell Him I’m so thankful
for His endless supply of grace.
I would drop down to my knees,
and worship my everlasting King
I would shout hallelujah . . .
and my praises I would sing.
I would leap and jump with joy,
as soon as my feet hit the floor
I would be forever grateful
He opened to me heaven’s door.
If today I were to meet Jesus,
and I were to see my eternal Friend
I know that I would be in paradise
and my bliss would never end.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
King James Version
“For the Lord himself shall descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to
meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever
be with the Lord.”
