Searching For Truth ~

Some people search,
high and low . . .
yet the truth
they never know.

For they look to man,
for ways to cope
instead of to God
for faith and hope.

Some people seek,
all over the place
yet true peace . . .
they never embrace.

For they look to people,
for their happiness
instead of to God
for His goodness.

Some people search,
where ever they will
but only God’s love . . .
can their hearts still!

Seek and you shall find,
whenever you’re in doubt
turn to the Good Book
to find the answers out.

For in the Bible you’ll see,
what God wants of you
seek and you shall find
His light shining through.

Seek and you shall find,
love that is everlasting
when in uncertain times
all else is so contrasting.

Come to the throne of grace,
God is always the same
seek and you shall find
the power in His name.

Seek and you shall find,
the answers to your prayers
then find rest in knowing
Jesus has all your cares.

For Jesus came to save you,
from daily fear and strife
seek and you shall find
for yourself eternal life!

God Has Great Things For You ~

God has plans for you,
a future ~ a hope
He has great things
in His almighty scope.

God has a life for you,
a path ~ a way
He has great designs
before you to lay.

God has a place for you,
a joy ~ a peace
He has great treasures
that will never cease.

God has a use for you,
a purpose ~ an aim
He has great blessings
for you to claim.

But you must let Him,
make your heart His home
and then seek the things
that come from His throne!
