If We Don’t Forgive Others ~

If we don’t forgive others,
of their wrong doings
then the grace of Jesus
we are not pursuing.

For, it is by His grace,
that we are forgiven
and we too must be
by His grace driven.

If we remain offended,
and refuse to forgive
then the love of our Savior
we’ll not be able to give.

For, without His love,
we would still be lost
if we didn’t believe
He died for us on the cross.

If we don’t forgive others,
will your Father forgive you?
That is the question . . .
we all need to pursue!

I’m Not Of This World ~

I live in this world,
but, I’m not of it
for I have in me
the Holy Spirit.

I breathe in the air,
to keep me going
but, my oxygen comes
from Jesus knowing.

I consider my life,
has come to an end
once Jesus became
my eternal Friend.

I now live by faith,
in God’s only Son
for His grace for me
my heart has won.

I live in this world,
but, from it I’m not of
for, I live by faith . . .
in His grace and love!

My Heart Believeth ~

My heart believeth,
Jesus is my Savior . . .
it understands the need
for God’s mercy and favor.

It knows it’s a sinner,
a wretched one at that
my heart recognizes
on its own it falls flat.

It knows without Christ,
it’d be hopelessly lost
my heart comprehends
for my sins to Him the cost.

It knows through its faith,
in His grace alone . . .
that for its every sin
only He can atone.

My heart it believeth,
my words they profess
Jesus is my Lord and Savior
to which I jubilantly confess!

Not Of My Doing ~

Not of my doing,
but that of the Lord’s
for only He can cut . . .
sin’s strangling cords.

For once chocking in sin,
to Him I was dead . . .
but now through His love
I am alive instead.

Nothing to boast about,
nothing here to see . . .
only through my faith
and the grace He gave me.

For there wasn’t anything,
I could do for my soul . . .
only Jesus could save it
and make me in Him whole.

On Christ Alone ~

On Christ alone,
my mind is set,
so closer to Him,
my heart can get.

For He is the One,
who has saved me,
giving me the hope,
for what I can’t see.

In Christ alone,
my faith clings,
for by His grace,
salvation brings.

He is my Savior,
God’s eternal plan,
His love filled in,
the empty span.

On Christ alone,
my redemption lies,
my eyes He keeps . . ,
fixated on the prize!

Jesus Came To Give ~

Jesus came to give,
to all abundant life
to deliver us from
work’s toil and strife.

And so He became,
the Door to the Way
for He saw how some
led His flock astray.

Jesus knew the thieves,
would rob and steal
His sheep from Him
so to destroy and kill.

And so He became,
the Good Shepherd
to settle with the robbers
salvation’s record.

Jesus came to save,
His sheep from the wolves
so they could recognize
the sound of their hooves!

It’s God Way ~

It’s God way,
or the ways of man
it’s the wide road
or the narrow span.

It’s a spiritual life,
or one that’s carnal
it’s a heart of flesh
or one that’s normal.

It’s through our faith,
or through work’s toil
it’s the grace of Jesus
or the things that spoil.

It’s things that are good,
or those that are evil
it’s pursuing righteousness
or following the devil.

It’s God’s way,
for no other one . . .
will lead us to the Life
or the Way to His Son!

All Or Nothing ~

It’s all or nothing,
there’s no in-between
to believe in the things
that cannot be seen.

It takes an act of faith,
to step out each day
and follow the Life . . .
of the Truth and the Way.

It’s not about our works,
but all about His grace
and a trust in God’s Word
our souls need to embrace.

It takes a heart of flesh,
one that is contrite
to see past the darkness
into His saving Light.

It’s all or nothing,
a decision we all must make
it’s faith by grace or by works . . .
that’ll decide our eternal fate!

My Eyes Are Set On ~

I have my eyes set on,
being with my Lord
it is something . . .
I joyfully look towards.

It’s my earthly goal,
one I will achieve
for it’s by my faith
in His grace, I believe.

I have my eyes set on,
an eternal destiny
how it’s going to be
perfectly heavenly.

It’s a destination,
I’m faithfully going for
for it will be a haven
of peace forevermore.

I have my eyes set on,
where I keep my heart . . .
and there isn’t anything
that can pry the two apart!

One Simple Step ~

One simple step,
we all need to take
one timely one
we all need to make.

For us to find,
in Jesus our freedom
so we can enter into
His Father’s kingdom.

All that it takes,
is a single little seed
and the grace of Jesus
is all we will need.

For us to be,
saved and forgiven
we need to have faith
in a Savior risen.

Taking one simple step,
of faith in His grace
will enroll you into . . .
the good and faithful race!

Gospel Mutations ~

The Gospel of Christ,
has many mutations
preached by different
denominations.

The gospel of works,
it’s all about you . . .
not about what Jesus
was sent here to do.

The gospel of moralism,
is all about being good
but, it is just another
salvation falsehood.

The gospel of prosperity,
is about being made rich
not in the blood of Christ
but by some get rich pitch.

The gospel of self help,
again it’s back to you
not what Jesus . . .
came here to do!

A New Life In Christ~

A new life in Christ,
works needed no more
now grace and love
opens heaven’s door.

For all things old,
no longer acceptable
once Jesus became . . .
our sin’s receptacle.

A new life in Christ,
death to the law
no longer under
it’s working claw.

For Jesus died,
to set us all free
so under bondage
we’d no longer be.

A new life in Christ,
a matter of the heart
a gift to each of us . . .
only God can impart!

Working Your Way to Heaven ~

Some people they think,
because they are good
to heaven they’ll get . . .
as all nice people should.

They say their deeds,
are their sure way in
how their good acts
will atone their sin.

Some people they feel,
it’s up to them to obtain
their way into heaven
on a performance campaign.

Their credentials point to,
all of their good doings
and the actions of . . .
their own choosing.

But, Jesus I don’t believe,
there’s any acts we can do
to earn our salvation . . .
other than faith in You.

For it is by Your Life,
Your blood, grace and love
that we even can get . . .
to heaven above!
