A Pep Talk ~
We all need endurance,
to run the faithful race
we all need the strength
found in God’s grace.
We all need encouragement,
to keep our goal in sight
we all need the power
of the Holy Spirit’s might.
We all need perseverance,
to help us to keep pressing
we all need more joy
to keep us from stressing.
We all need patience,
in these trying of times
we all need godly virtue’s
so not to cross the fine lines.
We all need a pep talk,
as the faithful race we run
we all need to hear each day
it is our’s to be won!

Hopefully, Joyful ~
Lord, once again
You proved to be faithful
and once again to You
I am truly grateful.
For, You have taught me,
how to cast my cares
onto You with my pleas
and my thankful prayers.
Lord, once again,
You proved to be trusting
and to my aide today
You faithfully came rushing.
You assured me,
for me You’d be here
to ease all my anxiety
and alleviate my fear.
Lord, once again,
You proved to be loyal
tis why today . . .
I’m hopefully, joyful!

Diligently Seeking ~
Lord, help me each day,
to diligently seek You
let it be Your light in me
I see shinning through.
Give me the dedication,
to study and read
so that in Your Word
I’ll find all that I need.
Lord, help me each day,
to trust in what I believe
give me the patience
so my crown I’ll receive.
Let me have the faith,
most pleasing to You
make me a believer
through and through.
Lord, help me each day,
to wait for Your direction
so that I may be rewarded
with the peace of perfection!
~~~~~~~
“But without faith
it is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that
he is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him.”
God Has My Back ~
I have personal needs,
individual wants I lack
but, God always has
my spiritual back.
I trust Him to provide,
for me every day
the patience to keep me
on the narrow way.
I know He will grant,
me with His grace
to meet head on
the trials I face.
I have faith knowing,
He will give me power
to overcome temptation
my every waking hour.
I have many needs,
personal wants I lack
but, I always get wisdom
whenever God I ask!
~~~~~
“But let patience have
her perfect work, that ye
may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing.
If any of you lack wisdom,
let him ask of God, that giveth
to all men liberally,
and upbraideth not;
and it shall be given him..”

Fruit Producing ~
Filled with the Spirit,
producing His fruit
now that in my heart
God’s love took root.
As I continue to grow,
more joy and peace
I find being patient
is easier to release.
As I’m cultivating,
the seeds of gentleness
it’s becoming natural
to sow deeds of goodness.
Tempering my faith,
with lots of meekness
is helping me to serve
with true humbleness.
Filled with the Spirit,
growing His fruit . . .
praying with God’s help
they will all take root!
~~~~~~~
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.”
Just Like My Savior ~
I want to be . . .
a sweet-smelling savor
to my God, I want to be
just like my Savior.
I want to learn,
all about self-denial
I want endurance
when facing any trial.
I want to serve,
not expecting back
I want to give
what others lack.
I want to be faithful,
even if I suffer
I want patience
to be my soul’s buffer.
I want to love,
with a quite gentleness
I want to be humble
full of forgiveness.
I want to pray,
through all things
I want the purity
His Spirit brings.
I want to be . . .
just like my Savior
I want to have His . . .
sweet-loving nature!
~~~~~~
“Be ye therefore followers of God,
as dear children;
And walk in love, as Christ also hath
loved us, and hath given himself for us
an offering and a sacrifice to God for
a sweet smelling savour.”
