The Wisdom Of God ~

The wisdom of the world,
is foolish in God’s sight
for it blocks out . . .
the Truth and the Light.

Instead it is chuck-full,
of lust, greed and pride
that leads to the road
that is known to be wide.

The wisdom of God,
is full of understanding
the more you believe
it will keep expanding.

For it is full of mercy,
hope, faith and trust
and the grace of Jesus
He’s given to each of us.

The wisdom of the world,
comes with glitz and bling
but, the understanding of God
eternal life to all will bring!

I see the waters rising,
I sense a flood ahead . . .
and what I know is coming
fills me with fear and dread.

For, the times are evil,
just like in Noah’s days
and this generation’s sin
goes beyond just a phase.

I am preparing myself,
to get into the ark . . .
for this world is becoming
progressively more dark.

For, what I am seeing,
is wickedness unleashed
for unbelief in God
has dangerously increased.

I know Jesus will keep me,
on His grace afloat . . .
but, I still pray for those
who will miss the boat!

is content in every way . . .
it knows material wealth
only brings spiritual decay.

No matter how it feels,
it never acts hard pressed
it may feel down and out
but never truly stressed.

An attitude of gratitude,
knows God’s in control
it finds true happiness
and joy fills its very soul.

It wants to share and give,
to everyone that it can
the Good News it has found
in God’s eternal plan.

Gratitude is an attitude,
of faith in Jesus’ grace . . .
you will know who has it
by the smiles on their face!
