It’s not about the fall,
or how many times we fail
it’s about getting back up . . .
even though we are frail.
It’s not about the troubles,
that we get ourselves in
it’s about our decision . . .
not to continue in our sin.
It’s not about the breakdown,
or the times we come apart
it’s about if we emerge . . .
with repentance in our heart.
It’s not about the tumble,
or the spill that we take
it’s about us learning . . .
not to make the same mistake.

and turn our lives around!

We’re in a battle
for what is right
and it’s a daily one
that we must fight.
We must stand up,
for what is good
just as Jesus
told us we should.
We’re in a battle,
the costs are high
and we must fight
and not standby.
We must speak out,
for what we believe
even if disdain
we openly receive.
We’re in a battle,
evil verses good
we must expose
the big falsehood!

Under the shadow of worry,
fear loves to roam around
hoping to throws us
smack into the ground.
For, fear longs to keep,
our faith in God at bay
so underneath its pall
it will force us to stay.
Under the shadow of doubt,
fears loves to cast its gloom
so that our trust in God
no longer has any room.
For, doubt wants to keep,
our hope in God in question
by constantly keeping us
in a state of depression.
Fear is our scariest enemy,
and doubt our ugliest foe
but, if we remain strong . . .
God’s peace will overshadow!

When I look to the heavens,
I can see God craftsmanship
as the stars gather around
for their nighttime fellowship.
The lights that they provide,
twinkle and dance about
proving to me that He has
all good things worked out.
When I look to the heavens,
I can see God’s workmanship
as the sun rises in the sky
and the moon starts to dip.
I see the sunny beams,
God’s glory declaring
and into the skies above
I can’t help but staring.
When I look to the heavens,
I get all teary . . .
for I see God’s handiwork
dispel the big-bang theory!

If we don’t forgive others,
of their wrong doings
then the grace of Jesus
we are not pursuing.
For, it is by His grace,
that we are forgiven
and we too must be
by His grace driven.
If we remain offended,
and refuse to forgive
then the love of our Savior
we’ll not be able to give.
For, without His love,
we would still be lost
if we didn’t believe
He died for us on the cross.
If we don’t forgive others,
will your Father forgive you?
That is the question . . .
we all need to pursue!

The wisdom from above,
is full of heavenly things
the true knowledge of God
to the seeker it brings.
It is pure first of all,
it is free from pride and lust
it proves earthy treasures
will only turn to rust.
It is peaceful and calm,
it is gentle and humane
it readily forgives
it doesn’t cause any pain.
It is full of compassion,
it is selfless and kindhearted
its good works on others
are gladly imparted.
The wisdom from above,
is without prejudice
it is without lip service
for mercy is its emphasis!
