Working Things Out ~

Working things out,
is taking some time
to get up and over
this mountain I climb.

Lots of detours,
and road closures
but I see the end
is getting closer.

Working things out,
for my own good
taking His time
as I know He should.

So much to learn,
to get my attention
so He can give me
His divine direction.

Working all things out,
God has for me a plan
His purpose I will know
once I reach flat land!

I Write In Rhyme ~

I write with rhythm,
I write in rhyme . . .
so to express my faith
as mountain’s I climb.

I open my mind,
to the Spirit’s leading
so to share with others
my uphill pleading’s.

I write with timing,
I write with a beat
so to help others
to stay on their feet.

I open my heart,
let the words flow
until I’m once again
in the valley below.

I write in rhyme,
I write out a poem
to encourage others
from God not to roam!

The Love Of God ~

The love of God,
has gotten me past
valleys too deep . . .
mountains so vast.

He help me over,
my fear and doubt
by my side He stayed
never walked out.

The love of God,
has brought me across
waters so high . . .
without being tossed.

He gave me hope,
my worries He stilled
with His ongoing peace
my heart was filled.

The love of God,
has gotten me through
things I thought . . .
were impossible to do!

Feet Like That Of A Deer ~

Oh, to have feet,
like that of a deer
I’d be able to move
without having fear.

I could then scale,
whatever the height
for I would have . . .
God’s power and might.

Oh, to have feet,
like that of a doe
I would not dread
I would just go.

I could then climb,
whatever the distance
for I’d have God’s strength
when met with resistance.

Oh, to have feet,
willing to in God trust
my legs would be . . .
inclined to adjust!
