Some days I want to stand,
on top of the highest hill . . .
raise my hands to the Lord
and tell Him how I feel.

I want to shout out my love,
hear His echo back at me . . .
I want to close my eyes tight
hoping His face I might see.

Some days I want to be alone,
on the tallest mountain top
sing my praises to the Lord
never wishing for them to stop.

I want to show my gratitude,
my heartfelt appreciation
I want to cry out to Him
my thanks for His salvation.

Some days I want to stand,
and soak in all of His peace . . .
and raise my hands upwards
as my praise to Him I release!

Sing your praises to the Lord,

praise Him for the peace
He will soon one day bring.

One Day Up In Heaven ~

One day up in heaven
in the presence of the Lord
our praises onto Him . . .
will be bountifully poured.

We will sing our alleluia’s,
our hallelujahs too
we will all be in sync
as if we were right on cue.

One day there will be,
a glorious wedding feast
a victorious celebration
over the death of the beast.

The outpouring of praise,
will be thunderous . . .
nothing we have ever heard
will be as wondrous.

One day in heaven,
we will sing our alleluia’s
and throughout eternity
they’ll echo our hallelujahs!

On The Keyboard of My Soul ~

If I could tune the keys,
of my soul and heart
on each ivory my praise
to God I would impart.

I would run my fingers,
across the keyboard
and sing my hallelujahs
to my Savior and my Lord.

If I could adjust the strings,
of my mind and spirit
the tension would release
to God a grateful lyric.

I would push the pedal down,
on His undying love for me
and sing about the hope
upon each ebony key.

If I could tune the keys,
and adjust my heart strings
on the keyboard of my soul
my ongoing praise I’d sing!
