Raise My Hands In Praise ~

Some days I want to stand,
on top of the highest hill . . .
raise my hands to the Lord
and tell Him how I feel.

I want to shout out my love,
hear His echo back at me . . .
I want to close my eyes tight
hoping His face I might see.

Some days I want to be alone,
on the tallest mountain top
sing my praises to the Lord
never wishing for them to stop.

I want to show my gratitude,
my heartfelt appreciation
I want to cry out to Him
my thanks for His salvation.

Some days I want to stand,
and soak in all of His peace . . .
and raise my hands upwards
as my praise to Him I release!

A Life Devoted ~

A life devoted,
a life reflective
is a life under
God’s directive.

For it finds pleasure,
in doing His will
as it knows to wait
and to be still.

A life delighted,
a life captivated
is a life to God
that is concentrated.

For it meditates,
day in and day out
rids itself daily
of worry and doubt.

A lived devoted,
a life delighted
is a life that is
spiritual sighted!

In Times Of Uncertainty ~

In times of prosperity,
God wants our praise
in times of affliction
God wants our gaze.

In times of sickness,
God wants our prayer
in times of hardship
God wants our care.

In times of opportunity,
God wants our devotion
in times of disappointment
God wants our emotion.

In times of sorrow,
God wants our grief
in times of doubt
God wants our belief.

In times of confusion,
God wants our uncertainty
in times of spiritual need
God gives us prosperity!

Just a Prayer Away ~

Feeling a little depressed,
having a hard day
just remember this
hope is a prayer away.

Prayer is the key,
that unlocks our doubt
when we trust Jesus
to figure all things out.

Life in a turmoil,
can’t stand the commotion
just turn to Jesus
with prayer and devotion.

You can tell Jesus,
about your wants and needs
whether you are standing
or down on your knees.

Not sure what to do,
or the way you should go
just speak to Jesus
in your prayers let Him know.

It doesn’t matter where you are,
or if its night or day . . .
so remember this one thing
Jesus is just a prayer away!

Run Away Bride!

Where has Your church gone,
where are Your chosen ones?
Your name is no longer,
on their lips and tongues.

Where is their devotion,
where are their words of praise?
On their lips and tongues,
their love for You, they don’t raise.

Where have all the faithful gone,
where are they now?
On their lips and tongues,
they no longer keep their vow.

Where are the godly teachers,
who speak against immorality?

they preach a new-age reality.

Where has Your bride gone,

Sometimes I want to stand,
