Clap Your Hands Together ~
God is the God of forever,
great is His Holy name . . .
today, tomorrow, for always
His glory burns like a flame.
Clap your hands together,
lift your voice up in praise
let the power of His Spirit
set your heart for Him ablaze.
Blessed are those who trust,
who put their life in His hand
for their joy shall be complete
when before Jesus they stand.
Sing your praises to the Lord,
exalt your mighty King . . .
praise Him for the peace
He will soon one day bring.
Joy shall cover the earth,
His glory will shine like a flame

God’s Finger Painting ~
I love when God,
starts to finger paint . . .
Autumn’s glorious colors
with no holds or restraint.
The colors splash about,
vibrant shades of orange-red
mingled with shiny slivers
of a brilliant golden thread.
As the rain begins to fall,
the colors appear to run
smeared across the horizon
as the clouds hide the sun.
The streets get all blotted,
with crispy yellow leaves
as they do their wind dance
to soggy roads they cleave.
I love when God,
fingers begin their painting
it reminds me of the glory . . .
He has for me awaiting!

that giveth rain, both the former

Christmas Glitz ~
I don’t want the glitz,
I only want the glory
I don’t want the folly
of salvation story.
I don’t need to see,
tree lights shimmering
I only want to witness . . .
Jesus’ love glimmering.
I don’t want the bling,
I only want the splendor
I don’t want the triviality
only Jesus’ grandeur.
I don’t want to listen to,
hollow holiday greeting
I only want to hear how . . .
in Jesus lives are changing.
I don’t want the pizzazz,
I only want the majesty
I don’t want the frivolity
of the glory of Calvary!

beholding as in a glass the
glory of the Lord, are changed
into the same image from
glory to glory, even as by

Rays of glory,
hope’s eternal beam
open up my eyes
to new things not seen.
A new heart,
a new birth
a new heaven
a new earth.
Showers of mercy,
hope’s melody
open up my ears
to things heavenly.
A bliss eternal,
a peace ceaseless
a joy unyielding
a completeness.
Glory shines down,
mercy breaks through

What A Wonderful God ~
I see God in the sky,
in the light of the moon
I see Him in the stars
through the universe strewn
and I think to my self . . .
what a wonderful God!
I see God in the hills,
in the valley below
I see Him in the streams
throughout the earth flow
and I think to my self. . . .
what a skillful God!
I see God in the ocean,
in the waves on the shore
I see Him as they crash
with a thunderous roar .

I See God’s Glory ~
I see God’s wonder,
I see His Light . . .
it does not fade
into the night.
It shines brighter,
than the morning sun
it radiates the Light
of His begotten Son.
I see the distance,
between God and man
I see His love . . .
fill the empty span.
I see the future,
forever it goes on
I see a hereafter
when all evil is gone.

God’s Glory Declared~
The heavens declare God’s glory,
the stars twinkle of His grace
the sun shines of His mercy
the moon glows upon His face.
They universe is His handiwork,
all was formed by His finger tips
everything came into concert
by the words from His own lips.
The planets are in constant motion,
as the earth moves around the sun
the world was created so mankind
would know the love of His Son.
The day was made out of the dark,
by the power of the Father of Light
He gave us all His joyful radiance
so that we may have spiritual sight.
God established order in the world,
day and night will come to cease
the upheaval that the earth is in
will soon be washed in His peace.
The heavens declare God’s glory,
everything is bathed in His grace
Jesus’ Light shines out of the dark . . .
one day all will confess to His face!

Oh what a vision,

now that I see
all in God’s light.

Heaven Is Surreal ~
Heaven is going to be,
awesome and surreal
for it will be a place
peacefully ideal.
It will be in Heaven,
from burdens we’ll be free
it’ll be our true happy place
full of laughter and glee.
Heaven will be a place,
where all will be healed
it is where God’s glory
will be fully revealed.
It will be in Heaven,
from our labors we’ll rest
it’ll be a place of joy
for those once oppressed.
Heaven is going to be,
filled with happiness
life will be never-ending
in the place of gladness!

A Brand New Day ~
A brand new day,
is on the rise . . .
God’s beauty unfolding
right before my eyes.
Oh, what splendor,
oh, such a delight
seeing the dawning
of morn’s early light.
Taking in the warmth,
soaking up each ray
bathing in the glory
God has for me today.
Sunshiny sparkles,
illuminating the dew
drops of God’s mercy shimmer

A brand new day,
God’s compassion fails not
great is His faithfulness
glitters my morning thought!

I love when God,

I Can Feel The Joy ~
I can feel the joy,
rising up inside me
I can sense the glee
when in heaven, I’ll be.
I’ve got a glimpse,
of how paradise will be
I’ve got a glimmering
no tears, will I see.
I can feel the delight,
of life, eternally
I can sense the peace
I’ll have, internally.
I’ve got a premonition,
how heaven’s going to be

I Love My Quiet Times ~
I love my quiet times,
when I am all alone
I love that I am led
right to God’s throne.
It’s there that I feel,
my raw humbleness
as I am surrounded
by His full holiness.
My pride is striped away,
right out from under me
who I am to even think
His glory I should see.
I bow my head in silence,
no words can express . . .
how these quiet times
on me, God does impress.
To my self-complacency,
I do become aware . . .
so much so, that to Him
my undying love I declare.
I love my quiet times,
when God leads and takes me
straight down to my knees . . .
when alone with Him, I be!

My hope is built on,
things I cannot see . . .
not on the troubles
today, surrounding me.
On them I don’t focus,
I’m looking forward to
the day God’s glory . . .
comes shinning thru.
Today’s sufferings,
don’t compare to the day
when everyone’s tears . . .
will all be wiped away.
I’m eagerly awaiting,
for Jesus to return
when for this world . . .
I’ll haven’t one concern.
My hope is built on,
things I cannot see
especially the day . . .
Jesus comes for me!

The Reason for My Hope
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it's God's image
He puts into all of us.I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
