CHRISTmas Hope ~

May the hope of CHRISTmas,
renew your heart today
may the joy that it brings
to others you relay.

May you share the Good News,
of your Lord and Savior
may you express to all
the gift of God’s favor.

may the faith you have

in your Father and His son
may you demonstrate their love

We are jars of clay,
God’s earthen vessels
filled with His power
at all kinds of levels.

Power to open,
eyes that are blind
power to enlighten
the uninformed mind.

Power to proclaim,
to all the Good News
power to rise above
any opposing views.

Power to know,
when we need to be still
power to go and do
what is God’s perfect will.

God’s earthen vessels,
with His power infused

people who can’t see.

See the Life,
the Truth and the Way
nor hear what Jesus
has to tell and say.

urges me on . . .
so to His compassion

Out On The Streets ~

Church isn’t the only place,
for us to gather and meet
nor is it the only roof
for the unsaved to greet.

For outside its walls,
is a world that’s awaiting
and the Kingdom of God . .
we need to be proclaiming.

Church isn’t the only place,
where you go once a week
nor is it the only building
for the lost to find and seek.

For outside its doors,
are people needing to know
and the Life, Truth and Way
we need to live and show.

Church isn’t the only place,
for us to gather and meet
there’s a whole congregation . . .
out there on the street!

If We Walk In The Light ~

If we walk in the Light,
like Jesus we will be
and His reflection off us
others will be able to see.

If we act as the Light,
the Gospel we will share
and to the blood of Jesus
we’ll make others aware.

If we live in the Light,
we will be God’s witness
and shine His every truth
on the lies of the darkness.

If we are to be the Light,
God will give us power
to save others from satan
before he can devour.

If we walk in the Light,
our hope will radiate
and the love of Jesus
to others we’ll illustrate!

Bearing Good Fruits ~

Faith that is voiced,
faith that is shared
is a faith that knows
good fruit it’s to bear.

Faith that is productive,
faith that is fruitful
is a faith God makes
for His kingdom useful.

Faith that is spoken,
faith that is conveyed
is a faith that God needs
so hearts can be swayed.

Faith that is ministering,
faith that is life-saving
is a faith in Jesus
worthy of our embracing.

Faith that is hidden,
faith that we don’t share
is a faith in God . . . .
leading others no where!

Unashamed and Unafraid ~

Unashamed and unafraid,

Leaving My Footprint ~

Lord, may the footprint,
on this world I leave
be the steps of one
who in You believed.

May it be Your imprint,
long after I am gone
that keeps others
to You being drawn.

Lord, may the footprint,
be a lasting imprint
of one who lived a life
full of the Holy Spirit.

May Your impression,
be left in all I say
let the words I write
continue hearts to sway.

May the footprint I leave,
be not a carbon one . . .
let it be the faithful steps

Give Me The Wisdom ~

Oh, Lord give me wisdom,
to know what to say
so others I may guide
to the righteous way.

Help me to redeem,
the time allotted me
to help blinded eyes
Your saving light to see.

When CHRISTmas Day is Over ~

When CHRISTmas Day is over,
and the tree is finally down
as the lights are returned
to where they were found.

As we settle back into,
our daily routines
the hope of CHRISTmas
isn’t over by any means.

For, the reality of the day,
you cannot pack away
nor return or store it
back into some attic bay.

CHRISTmas lives on,
in our hearts everyday
for it’s the only Gift . . .
we can give each day.

When CHRISTmas Day is over,
be sure to keep sharing . . .
the Truth, Life and Way
by being Light bearing!
