Wait On The Lord ~

Those who wait on the Lord,
shall ride out the storms ahead
they shall climb over their fright
for they are Holy Spirit led.

Those who wait on the Lord,
shall fly against the strongest gust
they shall soar above their cares
for it’s in God they put their trust.

Those who wait on the Lord,
shall run the good and faithful race
they shall not grow faint or weary
for they are filled with His grace.

Those who wait on the Lord,
shall rise up and take their stand
they shall not be beaten down
for they put their life in His hand.

Those who wait on the Lord,
shall conquer their doubt and fear
they shall endure to the end . . .
for they know His Kingdom is near!

Strength For My Battles ~

When my mind tells me to quit,
as it rattles in my head . . .
God reminds me to ask Him
to be by His Spirit led.

When my heart isn’t in it,
as it thumps in my chest . . .
God reminds me to ask Him
with His peace to be blessed.

When my thoughts are far away,
as they whirl in my mind . . .
God reminds me to ask Him
for His wisdom to go and find.

When my soul is feeling crushed,
as it screams I give up . . .
God reminds me to ask Him
for more mercy from His cup.

When my thoughts, soul, heart and mind,
whirls, screams, thumps, and rattles . . .
God reminds me to ask Him
for more strength for my battles!

Lord, Strengthen Me ~

Lord, strengthen me today,
make me in You strong . .
for, in this changing world
I don’t feel I still belong.

But, I believe You have,
for me a battle plan . . .
to win the faithful fight
that I know is at hand.

Lord, fortify me today,
make me bold and courageous
for, everything now seems
so perilously outrageous.

But, I know that You want,
for me to draw on Your might
so against the evil rulers
their authority I can fight.

Lord, make me strong today,
strengthen and fortify me
for, in this world I will need . . .
a supernatural bravery!

When Feeling Faint ~

When I’m feeling faint,
small and weak . . .
more of Jesus’ strength
I’m compelled to seek.

For, then I can do,
though Him all things
that His power in my life
so often to me brings.

When I’m feeling frail,
fragile and helpless
I ask for more strength
before I become hopeless.

For, then I am able,
to gather up His might
so that I can continue
in the faithful flight.

When I’m feeling faint,
weak and feeble

the wings of an eagle!

Lord, Touch Me ~

Lord, touch me while I sleep,
bring peace to my weary soul
heal my mind and heart
let Your love make them whole.

Touch me when I wake up,
be the morning Light I see
be the strong in my coffee
come and meditate with me.

let me feel Your guiding hand
lift me up when I fall
so in Your strength I can stand.

Touch me in my place of rest,
as I take a break with You
repair any broken parts

being compromised.

are those who spread
His love and grace!

for when you come up . . .
more faith you’ll be receiving.

For when you take that jump,
into the unknown . . .
your faith will begin to grow
a stronger backbone.

into what you can’t see
for when you do . . .
your trust will be set free.

For when you take that dip,
into the unseen . . .
it will become for you
a daily routine.

Lord, help me each day,

for it to reach out and grow
the more about Jesus
we will need to know.

We will need to learn,
about His love and grace
so that we can keep up
on this earth with His pace.

For our faith to take root,
we need to be transformed
and no longer to this world
be into it or conformed.

We will need to put on,
the new man each day
so we can follow after
the Life, Truth and the Way.

For our faith to be grounded,
so to rise above all things
we will need the strength
that only Jesus can bring!

Step Out In Faith~

Sometimes in faith,
we need to just step out
regardless if we have
any fear or doubt.

We need to claim victory,
before we even begin
by using the strength . . .
that to us Jesus has given.

Sometimes in faith,
we need to take a leap
even though the waters
may seem so very deep.

We need to take the risk,
no matter how terrifying
by using the power . . .
Jesus will be supplying.

Sometimes in faith,
a step out we need to make
but, first off our feet . . .
our doubts we need to shake!

God is not asking you,
to go figure things out
He’s asking you to wait . . .
without having any doubt.

For He already has,
an answer to your prayer
now He wants you to be
to His directions aware.

God is not saying to you,
to run off and go and fix it
He’s telling you to be still . . .
so you can hear His Spirit.

When He’s ready Your answer,
He will stamp on it the date
now He’s asking you to have
the courage to sit and wait

God is not asking you,
to rush off and go do
He’s saying wait for it . . .
till He shows you how to!
