Cry Out To the Lord ~

When upset and troubled,
with all of the daily stress
cry out unto the Lord . . .
and He will surely bless.

No matter where you’re at,
no matter how close or far
cry out unto the Lord . . .
and He’ll go to where you are.

When your overwhelmed
by the storms all around
cry out unto the Lord . . .
and He won’t let you down.

No matter how deep the water,
no matter how low the tide
cry out unto the Lord . . .
and He’ll be right at your side.

For Jesus is your High Tower,
the Rock that is higher
who promises to lift us out
from under all the mire!

Troubled Believer ~

Troubled believer,
oh, anxious one . . .
fear and apprehension
has you on the run.

Worried about the past,
unsure of the future
the insecurities of life
you still feed and nurture.

Burdened believer,
oh, fretful one . . .
the impacts of your choices
cannot be undone.

Frustrations about today,
not sure the way to go
from your past decisions
still being tossed to and fro.

Troubled believer,
take your burdens to the cross
then in the pit of regret . . .
you will not get lost!

I’ve Got God’s Strength ~

I’ve got God’s strength,
it makes me strong
I trust it to keep me
sturdy all the day long.

When troubles I meet,
I face them head on
for I have the power
of His begotten Son.

I’ve got God’s might,
it makes me robust
it’s helps me each day
my life to Him entrust.

When worry I face,
I just keep hanging on
for I have the fortitude
of His resurrected Son.

I’ve got God’s strength,
each day it gets stronger . . .
it keeps my eyes on His Son
in case, He tarries longer!

Be Not Downcast ~

Don’t be discouraged,
be not overly concerned
for while you’re waiting
there’s much to be learned.

For waiting brings about,
lessons of obedience
so that you may have
for Jesus a radiance.

Don’t be disheartened,
be not too disquieted
God is not done with you
His work isn’t completed.

For He has a lot of things,
He has to remold in you
so while you sit and wait
let go and let God do.

Peace Surpassing ~

of God’s soothing calm

God Is Always Searching ~

God is always moving,
looking all around . . .
looking to find hearts
He can turn around.

He’s on the look out,
searching far and wide
from His eyes no one
can run away or hide.

God is always active,
looking here and there
looking to find hearts
to give Him their care.

He is on the watch,
be it night or day
to lead back hearts
that have gone astray.

God is always exploring,
searching and pursuing
for the hearts and minds
in need of His renewing!

Solid Gold ~

When God sends,
trials our way
on our knees . . .
we need to pray.

For we will need,
a lot of strength
so to keep fear
at arm’s length.

When God delivers,
what to us is a blow
to the throne of grace
we must at once go.

For we will need,
His mighty power
to get us through
the darkest hour.

When faced with trials,
we need to be bold . . .
as God is turns us
into solid gold!

God Is Still Able ~

When life gets hard,
and the road gets rough
when all that lies ahead
seems difficult and tough.

Remember God is still able,
to turn things around . . .
so keep on trusting Him
to avoid a breakdown.

When all that you see,
is hardship and adversity
when all that you feel
is the fear of uncertainty.

Remember with God,
nothing is too troubling
just keep on believing Him
so to keep from unraveling.

When life gets tough,
when the road seems long
remember God will give you . . .
the faith to make you strong!

It’s Easy To Say ~

It’s easy for people to say,
give Jesus your every care
it’s easy for them to relay
I’ll say for you a daily prayer.

But, when they leave,
they sometimes forget
to pass on to God
what has you so upset.

It’s easy for people to say,
I will pray for you . . .
but, isn’t always something
they go off and really do.

For they get distracted,
with the busyness of life
and soon forget to pray
for your daily strife.

It’s easy for people to say,
they will pray for you. . .
so, if these words you speak
make sure you go and do!
