Plant God’s Word Today ~

Plant God’s Word today,
prepare another’s heart
then sow the seed of faith
and watch what it will start.

Plant God’s Word today,
spread the Gospel tract
then water it with trust
and watch the lives it’ll impact.

Plant God’s Word today,
release the plan of peace
then sprinkle it with hope
and God’s power it will release.

Plant God’s Word today,
share the fruit of Christ’s love
then watch it grow up
and give praise to God above.

Plant God’s Word today,
it just takes one tiny seed . . .
but, with it you can harvest
all a soul could ever need!

This Amazing Grace ~

It’s a thing of beauty,
a thing of hope and love
it’s a thing of wonder
this grace from God above.

It’s a thing of strength,
when we’re feeling faint
it’s a thing of confidence
from sin our soul’s restraint.

It’s a thing we should seek,
something we must grow
it’s a thing for us to share
with every one we know.

It’s a thing of praise,
a thing to adore
it’s an amazing thing
a gift we can’t ignore.

This grace covers our past,
our today, our future
this grace we all need . . .
to cultivate and nurture!

Walking In the Spirit ~

When you walk in the Spirit,
you will live in Jesus’ light
all things will be clearer
everything will look bright.

For the Spirit will change you,
your mind He will capture
fill it with secure thoughts
of the upcoming rapture.

When you walk in the Spirit,
you’ll have a worldly guide
someone who will help you
to keep faith in your stride.

For the Spirit will lead you,
on the path of righteousness
helping you to live a life
in the power of faithfulness.

When you walk in the Spirit,
you’ll repel the darkness
for the Light of Jesus . . .
will help keep you sinless!

God Has A Plan ~

For every trial,
God has a purpose
He has a plan . . .
before they surface.

He sends us tests,
deserving or not
to see how much
grace we have got.

It is up to us,
how we will react
whether our troubles
our faith will impact.

Some choose to grow,
resentful and bitter
some opt to make
their faith in God bigger.

For every trial,
God sends to us . . .
He’ll reveal the purpose
as we increase our trust!

Snippet of The Day 03.25.16

From the Poem: Grow

By My Fruits. . .

By my fruits,
will I be known
by all the seeds
I have sown.

The good ones,
and the bad
the ones that take
the ones that add.

Just what will it be,
that other’s see
making them want
what’s inside me?

Will their eyes,
glimpse and know
God is with me
from the seeds I sow?

Am I strong,
or, am I weak
is it my will
or the Lord’s I seek?

Did I plant,
the seeds in love
not of mine
but, of God’s above.

Were they watered,
from the start
with God’s Word
straight from my heart?

Can they see,
the peace within
or is peace missing
because of hidden sin?

Will they see,
God’s strength and power
or has my faith
turned somewhat sour?

All these things,
I need to ask
for, there is no hiding
behind a mask.

God knows the true purpose,
and intent of my labor
so I pray He grants . . .
all my seeds His favor.

Walk In the Spirit ~

When you walk in the Spirit,
you will live in His light
everything will be clearer
all things will look bright.

For the Spirit will change you,
He will capture your thoughts
your attitudes will transform
as His knowledge, He allots.

At times, the pace will be fast,
most of the times, it’ll go slow
for it takes many a revelation
if His fruits are to grow.

When you walk in the Spirit,
stay very close to His side
for He knows the direction
of each step, of your stride.

You’ll want to follow Him,
no matter where He may go
for God’s plans and purposes
He wants you to know.

When you walk in the Spirit,
you’ll not be sin’s slave
for His light brings freedom
from things that you crave.

The Spirit brings much  joy,
and if you walk in His light
your own spirit will soar
much to God’s delight!
