God’s Plans For You ~

God’s plans for you,
are yours to discover . . .
they’re found in your Bible
from cover to cover.

A future of hope,
for you He has in store
once you open to Him
your seeking heart’s door.

Your life He will guide,
when you seek Him first
He’ll satisfy your needs
your hunger and thirst.

Once to Him you commit,
your steps He will guide
when directions you need
He’ll help you to decide.

God’s plans for you,
are easy to find . . .
but, first you must seek Him
with all your heart and mind!

If to God you commit,

He will show you
just what are His plans.

If your whole heart,
is in the right place
God will give you
strength for the race.

If God’s kingdom,
you will first seek
His power He’ll give
when you are weak.

If all of your mind,
to God you would give
He will guide you
how for Him to live.

If to God you commit,
your heart and mind . . .
the path of righteous
you will surely find!

Let God Take You ~

Let God direct your steps,
let Him take you to . . .
all the different places
He has planned for you.

For He knows just where,
He would have you to be
and all of His purposes
for you He wants you to see.

Let God direct your steps,
let Him show to you
all the things He’s planned
for you to go and do.

For He already knows,
what is for you His will
so take the time to stop
to listen and be still.

Let God direct your steps,
and give to Him you ways
so He may lead and guide you
for the rest of your days!

The Ocean’s Shore ~

As I stroll along,
the ocean’s shore
I feel blessed
to my very core.

Though I don’t know,
the water’s depth
I’m sure the Lord guides
my every step.

As I listen to,
the waves that roar
I trust God’s Spirit
over storms to soar.

Just like the warm sand,
and cool sea must meet
I know God’s the strength
beneath my feet.

And like a pebble,
in the soft sand
my faith can’t be crushed
by the foot of man.

As I watch the eagles,
land on the dock
I too find safety . . .
in the Lord, my Rock!

Man’s Plans ~

You may have plans,
you want to pursue
you may have ideas
brand spanking new.

But God’s purposes,
are the ones to prevail
and His intentions
you won’t be able to derail.

You may have a vision,
you want to maintain
you may have dreams
you want to attain.

But God’s designs,
cannot be thwarted
His will for your life
cannot be aborted.

You may have plans,
but only God will decide
the steps you will take
when He is your guide!

Me, Myself and Jesus ~

Me, myself and Jesus,
we go everywhere . . .
I take Him along with me
so to danger I’ll be aware.

Each day as I travel,
through life’s crazy maze
He brings truth and clarity
to the murk and the haze.

There are many paths,
everyday I can choose from
and I know He will direct me
to the ones I need to shun.

When there’s an obstacle,
throwing me off my course
He encourages me over them
so I’ll not feel any remorse.

Me, myself and Jesus,
walking side-by-side
for He keeps my steps
right within His stride!

Oh, My Little Sparrow ~

Oh, My little sparrow,
I have given you My peace
and unto eternity . . .
it will not end or cease.

I have empowered you,
with My eternal grace
but it is up to you . . .
to seek My faithful face.

Oh, My little sparrow,
I’ll always love you so
and unto eternity
I will never let you go.

I’ve given you freedom,
to go off anywhere
but it is up to you . . .
to come to Me in prayer.
