Born Into Rebellion ~

Born into rebellion,
rotten to the core
too evil to hear . . .
the knock on the door.

Rioting and destroying,
burning and stealing
too wicked to see . . .
the need for healing.

Prideful and lustful,
immoral and impure
too depraved to heed . . .
the call of a Savior.

Angry and destructive,
factious and divisive
too caught up being . . .
one of satan’s devices.

Born into rebellion,
bad to the bone
too rebellious to not . . .
cast the first stone!

Sometimes I don’t get,
why evilness prevails
how souls every day
it tempts and compels.

I don’t understand,
the wicked things people do
but, God I do know . . .
none of it comes from You.

Sometimes I don’t get,
why the wicked prosper
how they keep getting
in this world stronger.

I don’t comprehend,
the evilness they do
but, Jesus I do know . . .
they don’t follow You.

Sometimes I don’t get,
why evilness dominates
but, God I do know . . .
how the devil operates!

God’s Glory Declared~

The heavens declare God’s glory,
the stars twinkle of His grace
the sun shines of His mercy
the moon glows upon His face.

They universe is His handiwork,
all was formed by His finger tips
everything came into concert
by the words from His own lips.

The planets are in constant motion,
as the earth moves around the sun
the world was created so mankind
would know the love of His Son.

The day was made out of the dark,
by the power of the Father of Light
He gave us all His joyful radiance
so that we may have spiritual sight.

God established order in the world,
day and night will come to cease
the upheaval that the earth is in
will soon be washed in His peace.

The heavens declare God’s glory,
everything is bathed in His grace
Jesus’ Light shines out of the dark . . .
one day all will confess to His face!
