Of Good Courage Be ~

Be of good courage,
be glad exceedingly
for God wants to give you
His peace unceasingly.

He wants you to have,
a faith mightily strong
so you can make hope
your eternal song.

Of good courage be,
let your mind be at rest
God knows the cares
with today that you wrest.

He wants you to give Him,
all that is of concern
for His yoke is easy
just as is His burden.

Be of good courage,
rejoice and be joyful
for the One you trust
is loving and faithful

A Bold Attitude ~

Be of good courage,
have a bold attitude
ask God to give you
strength and fortitude.

For He wants to make,
your faith in Him strong
so you won’t be defeated
when problems come along.

Be of good courage,
let your mind be at rest
be confident in knowing
God’s has for you His best.

For He wants you to live,
in a victorious way
then with grace you can face
the worries of each day.

Be of good courage,
be bold and and be brave
trust the Lord Himself . .
from your troubles will save!

God, my Courage,
my Bravery, my Grit
Your love compels me
not to give up or quit.

You give me fortitude,
to fight the good fight
all my battles fought
are won in Your might.

God, my Courage,
my Boldness, my Mettle
You turn my nerves
into hard, steely metal.

Your Word is my Armor,
faith is my shield
taking me each day
out into the battle field.

Lord, Give My Faith A Backbone ~

Lord, give my faith a backbone,
robust, sturdy and strong
give my spirit the braveness
to last my whole life long.

Lord, help me not to be,
cowardly and spineless
so for You I can be . . .
courageous and fearless.

Lord, give my trust a framework,
rugged, durable and resilient
give my spirit the boldness
to go for You the distant.

Lord, help me not to be,
fainthearted and gutless
so for You I can be . . .
a light for Your justness.

Lord, give me a backbone
make my faith seamless . . .
so that my trust in You
will become effortless!
