A Brewing Storm ~

There’s a coming storm,
for years its been brewing
we all have been privy
to its ominous warning.

It’s been building up,
for many a decade
you can smell in the air
the filth, rot and decay.

There’s a disturbance,
it’s out on the horizon
off in the distance
there is an eerie siren.

If you listen closely,
you will hear its roar
soon God’s wrath
will be coming ashore.

There’s a storm coming,
soon there no longer will be . . .

~ Wickedness & Evil
~ Rioting & Looting
~ Tolerance for Sin
~ Porn & Child Abuse
~ Incest & Rape
~ Sexual Immorality
~ Gender Reassignment
~ Drug & Alcohol Abuse
~ Abortion & Murder
~ Terrorist & Terrorism
~ Pain & Suffering
~ Sorrow & Death
~ Grief & Tears

Oh, won’t that just be
one glorious day to see!

To Be Like Jesus ~

To be like Jesus,
our minds need to entwine
and then our hearts to Him
will begin to align.

For us to finally put off,
our former, sinful ways
to our old worldly desires
we must daily reappraise.

Our old lustful thoughts,
must daily be transformed
our greedy attitudes
will need to be reformed.

Our minds have to be,
continuously changed
from our corrupt attitudes
we must become estranged.

To be like Jesus,
takes the Holy Spirit’s doing
it may take a lifetime . . .
but, it’s so worth our pursuing!

Prayer for the Persecuted ~

Lord today I pray,
for Your healing hand
to reach across each sea
to stretch over every land.

I pray for each person,
who knows and loves Thee
for Your strength and courage
as their homelands they flee.

I pray for the persecuted,
for those dying each day
just because they believe
in the Life, Truth and Way.

I pray for the oppressed.
for the ones being abused
for those who are tormented
those being falsely accused.

I pray for all who suffer,
in the enemy’s evil hand
I pray for Your healing touch
over each downtrodden land.

Lord today I pray,
for mankind every where
for You to give them peace
in the midst of their despair!

The Promise ~

Further than the stars,
that my eyes can see
is the promise of rest
God has awaiting me.

Higher than the moon,
hanging in the sky
is the promise of peace
coming from up high.

Beyond the sun’s ray,
beaming from above
is the promise of bliss
bathed in eternal love.

Wider than the ocean,
deeper than the blue sea
is the promise of calm
waiting just for me.

Beyond what I envision,
further than all I can see
I know heaven is waiting
one day to welcome me!

He redeems,
the unjust

the corrupt.

He justifies,

the crooked.

He pities,
the helpless
He delivers
the hopeless.

He condemns,
not a one
He pardons
all evil done.

Jesus exchanged,
His life for ours
so won’t you today . . .
please give Him yours?

The Power of the Blood ~

The power of the blood,
is our souls atonement
for Jesus became for us
our spiritual proponent.

His life and death brought,
with God reconciliation
for our sins Jesus suffered
shame and humiliation.

His blood has the power,
to cleanse us from all sin
to wash away the stains
they have left deep within.

The day He died for us,
was the day of justification
the cross on which He hung
was for our sanctification.

The power of the blood,
brings to all eternal peace
for Jesus died so we could be
from sin, finally released!

When Trials Blow Our Way ~

When trials blow our way,
on the winds of stress
when we start to feel
tense and hard pressed.

That’s when we need to go,
to the One who’ll ease
the whirlwind we are in
into a tranquil breeze.

When adversity slams,
on the door of our trust
when anxiety’s clamor
starts to overwhelm us.

That’s when we need to go,
to the Savior of our soul
and give to Him our fears
so He can take control.

When trials blow our way,
as worry slams about
that’s when we need Jesus . . .
to chart for us new a route!

I Have a Friend ~

I have a Friend,
He’s so good to me
a more loyal Friend
there could never be.

My Friend is with me,
