A critical spirit,
fights and bickers
you can see it in those
who are nit-pickers.
They’re known to be,
quite quarrelsome
to other’s they are
more than irksome.
A critical spirit,
can be harsh and cruel
their tongues are always
in some kind of duel.
They are selfish,
it’s their way or none
they do not care
who they hurt or shun.
A critical spirit,
can be transformed
when to God’s love
it is conformed!

The cries of the heart,
don’t fall on deaf ears
for each one of them
God promises to hear.
The cry for a heart,
after His own
tells Him you long
to make it His home.
The cry for a heart,
He can transform
tells Him you want
it to be His platform.
The cry for a heart,
open and teachable
tells Him its ready
to be searchable.
The cry for a heart,
to know His ways
tells Him you want
to be lead each day.
The cry for a heart,
that God can touch
says to Him . . .
I love You so much!
~~~~~
and a new spirit will I put
within you: and I will take
away the stony heart out of
your flesh, and I will give
you an heart of flesh.”
To draw closer to God,
we must be willing
to open our hearts
to spiritual healing.
Healing of the pain,
others inflected on us
healing of the hurt
so we can learn to trust.
To draw closer to God,
we must be open to
letting His Spirit
make all things new.
Newness of thought,
transformation of mind
letting go of the old
so peace we can find.
To draw closer to God,
we must be willing . . .
to make room in our hearts
for His Spirit’s indwelling!
temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of
as God hath said,
I will dwell in them,
and walk in them;
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.”
He is risen,
glory hallelujah
He has risen
triumphant alleluia.
He is alive,
blissful elation
He is alive
joyful celebration.
He is risen,
peaceful expectation
He has risen
eternal transformation.
He is here,
cheerful jubilation
He is here
hopeful affirmation.
Jesus is risen,
just like He had said
Jesus is alive
no longer is He dead!
God’s been working,
in me I know . . .
and what He began
is starting to show.
He’s given my mind,
a transformation
to follow His ways
until my completion.
He’s taken my heart,
once made of stone
gave me a new one
just like His own.
He’s breathed new life,
into my dead soul
gave it His Spirit
to be in control.
Every day of my life,
He is working in me
I know its His image
He’s wanting to see.
God is not finished,
with what He’s begun
and I can hardly wait . . .
until with me He’s done!
There is a cry,
deep in my heart
a plea I make upon
a new year start . . .
Transform me Lord,
teach me your ways
instruct and train me
the rest of my days.
Test me Lord,
try me through
impress on me
the image of You.
Touch me Lord,
heal me inside
so Your Spirit
will always abide.
Think of me Lord,
forget me not
keep me always
in Your thought.
Rely on me Lord,
to follow Your will
believe I’ll wait
trust me to be still.
There is a cry,
for God to impart
into my soul . . .
His very own heart!
~~~~~~~~~~
“I will cry unto God most high;
unto God that performeth
all things for me.”
“And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that ye may prove what
is that good, and acceptable,
and perfect, will of God.”

We must be willing,
to give to God our heart
before any transformation
or morphing can take part.
If we’re to undergo,
a complete radical change
our thoughts and our ways
God will have to rearrange.
To become a new creation,
isn’t something up to us
but by the power of God
as in Him, we learn to trust.
If we are not to be,
to the world conformed
we must allow our lives
in Jesus, to be transformed.
A renewing of our minds,
is a part of the progress
we must put on the new man
and the old one suppress.
We must be willing,
to make holy living official
lest to the world we’ll appear . . .
shallow and superficial!
~~~~~~~~~~
“I beseech you therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God, that ye present
your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable unto God, which is your
reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that ye may prove what
is that good, and acceptable,
and perfect, will of God.”
The wind of God’s Spirit,
is constantly blowing
in the lives of believers
it’s continually flowing.
It’s powerful and mighty,
it’s character changing
in the souls of believers
it’s behavior alternating.
The wind of God’s Spirit,
is constantly reforming
in the minds of believers
it’s attitude transforming.
It’s quick and it’s strong,
it’s deep and penetrating
in the hearts of believers
it’s profound and regulating.
The wind of God’s Spirit,
blows as it pleases . . .
for it’s the very breath of God
that governs the breezes!
~~~~~~~~~~~

and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth: so is every one
that is born of the Spirit.”

If we’re to be transformed,
on the Potter’s wheel
then as the clay . . .
we must be still.
The process is not fast,
a lot of time it will take
so the Potter’s image
into us He can make.
The clay needs to be soft,
it must be willingly pliable
so from its worthless state
He can make it justifiable.
Once on the Potter’s wheel,
the clay will wobble to and fro
but, He controls the speed
til His mercy begins to flow.
The Potter molds His vessel,
and foresees the finished work
if there’s any cracks or flaws . . .
the clay He is able to rework.
If we’re willing to be formed,
into something beautiful . . .
on the Potter’s wheel
we must remain flexible!
~~~~~~~~~~
Jeremiah 18:3-4
“Then I went down to the
potter’s house, and, behold,
he wrought a work on the wheels.
And the vessel that he made of clay
was marred in the hand of the potter:
so he made it again another vessel,
as seemed good to the potter to make it.”
God’s grace is transforming,
if you want it to be
it will change your life
till it’s Jesus others see.
It’s living inside of you,
you have the power within
it’s working right now
to triumph over your sin.
You might be poor,
but, it will make you rich
for grace freely given
comes without a hitch.
It has no drawbacks,
you have all that you need
there is no hindrance
when to pride you concede.
It will teach and train you,
how to live out your days
it will lead you down the path
of the true, righteous way.
God’s grace is transforming,
it’s alive and living in you
and if you will let it . . .
it’ll come bounding through!
that the offence might abound.
But where sin abounded,
grace did much more abound:”
God happens,
in the hardest of hearts
He brings new beginning
fresh spring-like starts.
God happens,
in the broken down soul
He brings reconciliation
makes everyone whole.
God happens,
in the darkest of spirits
He brings transformation
every sin He acquits.
God happens,
in the worst of us
He restores generations
when in Him ~ they trust.
Isaiah 58:12
King James Version
“And they that shall be of thee
shall build the old waste places:
thou shalt raise up the foundations
of many generations;
and thou shalt be called,
The repairer of the breach,
The restorer of paths to dwell in.”
God has placed me here,
in this land of the unknown
in this sea of uncertainty
so His will may be known.
I know not what He has in store,
I know not where He will lead
but I know I must trust in Him
to His ways I need to heed.
It’s my duty to be humble,
to show Him my gratitude
for He is sovereign
and I must adjust my attitude.
There’s nothing that I can do,
no miracle I can perform
but I know I will be blessed
and my life He will transform.
He doesn’t owe me anything,
yet, He’s gracious with His mercy
it’s through the blood of Jesus
that in His eyes I’m even worthy.
God has placed me here,
in this place of hope and trust
so I will wait for Him . . .
to do what I know He must!
Commit your ways to the Lord,
trust Him to complete in you . . .
everything He has started
all that He has yet to do.
Place your life in His hands,
trust Him to mold and to form
and your heart and your mind
He will begin to transform.
Give to the Lord all your ways,
trust Him to lead and to guide
give to Him your every step
walk with faith in your stride.
Give to Him all your worries,
trust Him to give you His peace
relinquish your fears and doubts
for a calmness never to cease.
Commit your ways to the Lord,
let Him do what He must do . . .
give to Him your days and nights
then let Him take care of you!
saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil,
to give you an expected end.”
